Pros

It offers a wide range of comprehensive features and amazing tutorials that help you get started. Plus the free courses are excellent for learning the basics and building a foundation allowing users to gradually teach themselves more advanced features. Also it makes audio integration with Unity a simple task though I have not tried other game engine so I imagine the experience is similar.

Cons

I feel like the steep learning curve was overwhelming for someone without a programming background. As it is clearly designed for programmers, not musicians which in the end is a good thing. It taught me to see audio assets as a key component in game development and showed me how to better prepare audio files for interactive music in video games.

Loved it

Pros

The good thing about it is that it includes object, container, switch, packaging and modular-based implementation among all other concepts. Overall it is a complete suite that incorporates the latest implementation techniques.

Cons

Before understanding the switch implementation syncing the sound was a challenge. But I am sure I will get the hang of it with more practice.
