Terrible service
Pros

They provided the EMR for free for several years and we benefited a lot from its basic services.

Cons

The support was disappointing. When CareCloud started charging for EMR, I had to switch to another EMR/EHR due to downsizing my practice and moving toward semi-retirement. They offered very little help in transferring my data and the data they provided was flawed which makes it impossible to upload properly into the new EHR. When I asked them to correct their mistakes and allow the doctor read-only access to the data in the meantime, they went silent. They refused access, preventing the doctor from seeing the notes needed for patient care. This has been going on for a month and still continues. I have made around 10 attempts to contact customer service in the past week, but they have not responded at all.

Pros

The best aspect of it is its look and feel.

Cons

Features are broken and they won't fix them until you threaten to leave. Then, they try to trap you with an auto-renewal clause hidden in the MSA. Be very cautious before signing anything.

Great billing and claims collection system
Pros

As a physician in a small practice, the claim follows ups and collections aid from CareCloud Concierge is a lifesaver for me as it enables me to do my own billings instead of spending more money on an in-house billing member. With the help of Carecloud EHR, a lot of my payments are automated that saves me a lot of time and effort and eliminates any chance of human error by updating the accounts regularly. Impressive work I must say.

Cons

CareCloud EHR Software was a little challenging to get used to at first as its working is less like mainstream EHR systems and more like an app store application. Getting used to my part of the work and the system’s processing took its time but it was more than worth it later on. The company practice management team and support staff have been a great help throughout and i hope it stays stays this way.

Great software. Incredibly easy to use
Pros

User-convenience provided by CareCloud is fabulous. Staff learned their way around the system within a few hours of training. Implementation was even simpler than anticipated. Our providers find it extremely basic and simple to utilize. The system offers high customizability. Their staff is very amiable and understanding. Analytics is great. The claims scrubbing is done using 3 clearinghouses that work with many second-level merchants who work explicitly with billers, increasing our clean claims rate. Its simple to make reports, dive into the EMR to pull information and make dashboards for every worker and supplier whenever wanted. Dashboards with the goal that every representative and partner can check KPIs every day.

Cons

There is a minor inconvenience while dealing with self-payment IDs for easy posting. However, a little effort and extra steps solve the problem. We regret not having discovered CareCloud sooner. Maybe they should work on their marketing so more practices know about the great things they have to offer.

Serious Issues with its Customer Support
Pros

The product is easy to use but it frequently underperforms.

Cons

I have been with CareCloud/Talk EHR since 2014. During that time, I have noticed a decline in the quality of customer support and responsiveness. Tech support issues are common, and its often impossible to speak with a representative who speaks English fluently. I frequently have to file the same complaint multiple times in a week without getting a lasting solution to the issue.

Great billing software. Suitable for all
Pros

The system is highly efficient and error-free. CareCloud EHR is designed to be easily utilized by people with all levels of expertise. Providers, clients, and staff all find it equally comprehensive and easy to navigate. We have rarely had any complaints in that department. The billing software is quick and simple, and documentation and filing claims are done very efficiently. As long as you make no errors in patient data input, it works seamlessly. The support staff is very commendable.

Cons

It is a little confusing when retrieving reports, as there is no way to be certain if you are being shown all the necessary information on that report. Could use more A/R reports.

Software with the ease of an app
Pros

The coolest thing about CareCloud EHR is that it functions like any app on your phone which makes it very easy to navigate and locate things. The layout is incredibly intuitive and no complex steps are required to get everyday tasks done. We can access the software anywhere at any time because the whole system is web-based.

Cons

Much like most EHRs, Carecloud EHR has its moments too. Some glitches here and there but I suppose, that is part of the package with any electronic records database. Although their support team has been a great help throughout with any problems we had.

In my 30 years of practicing medicine, CareCloud EHR software has been the easiest to use. In addition, the software has optimized the process of scheduling appointments. Great service. Keeps getting better
Pros

I have been using this software for years and I am very happy with my decision. The best thing about CareCloud that makes it so easy and effortless to operate is its App-like appearance, it is very instinctive to figure out how to utilize different functions; development team has been amazingly adaptive in routinely renewing the different capacities to improve its handiness to doctors and staff. As opposed to other EHR software out there created by programmers for programmers with little regard for its usability to healthcare providers, CareCloud is receptive of MD contribution to make it dynamically easier to use and valuable in the clinical setting. The iPhone app is incredibly useful when far from the clinic.

Cons

I do not have any complaints about this platform whatsoever. They are always putting out updates that improve productivity and fix minor bugs. It is less of the software’s fault but carecloud being a cloud-based system means it’s totally dependent on internet access and internet downtime can cause a lot of trouble for us during clinic hours or during our crisis hours.

Care Cloud implosion. Do not consider in your EHR SEARCH.
Pros

We were misled into thinking this was a stable EHR company but just three months later, they were bought by a larger equity firm and from then on, the online reliability was terrible and communication from their support company, MDS was equally bad. Eventually, we had to abandon this EHR and are now transitioning to another EHR, hoping for a better outcome.

Cons

The reliability has been terrible for the last 15 months ever since private equity bought them.

Pros

I loved how this software looked. They designed it like an iPhone, with bright colors and rounded, app-like options. I found that all my users easily figured out where everything was and did not struggle to learn the system. I also appreciate the "all-in-one" design which had everything anyone in our company could possibly need.

Amazing Software
Pros

First of all, I’m impressed with their billing. Instead of waiting for a long time, we are able to easily identify any anomalies in our claims which has ultimately increased our revenue; thanks to CareCloud. Scheduler module is easy and the solution itself is intuitive and navigation is smooth. However, my main concern was out billing because of our previous EMR we faced some reduction in our revenue cause of their ineffective billing, however, that is no longer the case.

Cons

Declining service quality
Pros

I have been using Care cloud for more than five years. Everyday tasks are done with a fair deal of ease. Scheduling is very intuitive. Filing claims is done with a few quick steps which spare us a lot of time.

Cons

Their customer service was a huge letdown. They do not mention it but the contract states you can only get out of it once in a years time. Which limits your options. It is costly for private practices. I wanted to terminate my contract since months into the year because hiring a new billing staff required me to change my scheduling system. But they were not willing to do it and refused blatantly. It is better if you hire a sperate biller than purchase this system. Since it hasnt been working the way it once did. Have encountered too many problems in the past year.

Everything is very well organized which means all features can be located with much hassle. Their billing system has many useful tools to speed up the process of posting bills, faxing or transmitting them and checking their status all from within the system.

Pros

Getting CareCloud is easily one of the best choices we have made for our practice. The software has a very user-friendly interface, ensures the nicest most convenient work experience. Everything gets done super efficiently and effectively. The company is very much client-oriented, always working towards making improvements in their products. Its OS has a very similar working to that of an iPhone which makes it all the easier to navigate.

Cons

It does take a LOT of time adjusting to what works how. The customer service is inconsistent, they have made a lot of changes in their support services which makes it hard to keep track of who can help you with what. But all things considered, CareCloud is a very promising company.

Review
Pros

Seemed like a great choice from the first representation but now that we have gotten to use it, the system feels underdeveloped compared to our last EHR software. It is reasonably priced and allows us to handle our own billing, other than that it does not have much to offer. We switched from Athena to this only a week ago, but we are now planning to switch back to it.

Cons

The functionality of the software is nothing like we were shown in the demo. It is below average at best and probably not suited for advanced functions. The design is too simplistic and none of the different aspects make sense together. Everything takes extra clicks and steps. Referral section is a huge disappointment. The charts are not intuitive as far as I can tell. It seems the idea behind the software is promising but the execution, a disaster.

Perfect for my practice
Pros

The exceptional interface and App-like feel make this platform simple to learn. It is completely coordinated and the workflow for the system is the best I have ever come across and used in my 16 years profession. The settlement posting and statement aspects are highly advanced and specifically designed for the end use. I also appreciate that there is almost no hold-up time to when you call the support service. Generally, most of my issues are settled effectively over the phone on the same call. No waiting for follow-ups.

Cons

They have spiked up the monthly costs per provider since I started on it. It can seem a little strange when transitioning from another system. But ultimately it is worth it with the ease of use and reliability it offers.

DO NOT PURCHASE
Pros

It definitely looks nice, but from a billing perspective its complicated and time-consuming.

Cons

I rarely leave reviews, and I am certainly not one to be negative. However, the staff from management on down, has been terrible. They have extorted us financially and no one responds when we ask questions. We get passed around and management refuses to contact us. The poor reps promise that management will reach out, but it never happens. The finance department has a woman who is rude, abrasive, unprofessional and shrewd. They do not uphold their end of the contract they force you to sign, and since joining them, we have lost significant revenue. They even fired one of their few who recognized what was happening and tried to help us. We've been trying to leave this company, and they are demanding thousands of dollars for work that was not done, plus over $8,000 just to leave. We are a small business and this is only the beginning of the problems we have had with them. I cannot wait to be done with it all.

Highly recommended for practices of all sizes
Pros

I have not had any big issues with CareCloud’s performance in the entire four years we have used it. It is a robust, comprehensive system which makes it very easy for me to manage my clients and staff. Their billing aspect is highly efficient and accurate that I had to dissolve an administrative position because the billing app took care of all that work itself. The software is easy to navigate and has some great functionalities to offer. We have been very pleased with its overall performance and would definitely recommend it to other practices.

Cons

You can conveniently check your financials from within the system but only if you want all users to have access to the financials but if it is something you only want to be accessed by an authorized few, it can be trouble. Because unlike most EHRs and CRM, CareCloud does not have differentiated user pathways for clients, practitioners and other staff. They do have a section that seemingly allows you to sever the access of particular parts of the chart but it does not work as it should.

Cons

There is barely any regard for data privacy. There is no option for us to limit or turn off access to patient billings. Any individual who approaches the timetable/plan for the day can tap on a patient on the present calendar and approach all financials related data. Practitioners neednt bother with access to billings yet they do need to see the timetable of all patients present in the facility on their working days. I would not recommend Carecloud EMR to any practice until they have made sense of how to square access to financials from the timetable application.

The most efficient EHR
Pros

The system is incredibly user-friendly. Perhaps, the most simple and efficient EHR software I have ever used. There is no learning curve or a need for any extensive training. Everything is at the tip of your fingers, navigating through the system is a breeze, without having to switch sections, you can easily keep tabs on rejected claims and unanswered claim requests which keeps you on top of things and eliminates the need for consulting old records.

Cons

I wish CareCloud was suitable for a wider collection of specialties. There are some manual work steps whenever we need to file paper claims.

Review
Pros

The software design is very promising. It is intuitive and very simple to operate. You can set it up according to your practice or specialty needs. Locating data takes minutes and the reports are in an order that is so easy to manage. Their billing system is automated for the most part that makes our practice much easier by allowing us to do our billings ourselves. The company staff is great. From the administrative staff, the IT department to customer support, they are friendly and always willing to help. The support staff does not close your case before seeing it to finality.

Cons

There need to be more people dealing with front end scrubbing so that the claims have complete and correct data before they are sent out, to avoid the whole process of the refiling denied claims.
