This Criterions feature supports real-time scheduling with customizable calendar views, resource tracking, and role-based permissions. Practices can manage multiple providers, appointment types, and location in a single platform. Patients can check-in virtually from anywhere to confirm appointments by text. By using this feature, clinicians can verify patient’s insurance before the visit.

Criterions software includes automated reminders via phone, email, or SMS which helps to reduce no-shows and late cancellations. It enables providers to customize messages by appointment type, time, or practitioner while tracking patient responses to improve communication. Patients can also confirm or decline appointments without a phone call. This texting module helps front-desk staff save time they would otherwise spend calling patients.

The software offers bi-directional, uni-directional, and ADT lab interfaces that connect seamlessly with laboratories, public health organizations, and imaging centers. Needs a few tweaks

Pros

I really appreciate the tech support here. Whenever I have an issue, they responds super quickly and always manages to fix the problem without any delay. It makes things so much easier knowing someone reliable is there to help right away.

Cons

Once I create an HPI template, I can't make any more changes to it. Even small things like hiding some tabs or adding a period at the end of a template sequence just aren't possible which can be really frustrating.

Works well if they bring in updates

Pros

The help support team is honestly the best I've dealt with. They always reach out to me quickly whenever I need assistance and they're so humble and polite. On top of that, they really know what they're doing which makes me feel confident they'll solve whatever problem I'm facing.

Cons

It feels kind of outdated compared to others. They don't seem to add new features or improve it much as time goes on which makes me feel like I'm stuck with old technology.

Disappointing and unprofessional

Pros

I've been using this product for a while and honestly, it worked fine before they introduced the EMR features. Back then, it did everything I needed without any problems, so I was pretty happy with it during those pre-EMR days.

Cons

I felt like this software fell way behind compared to other options in terms of features and quality. When we wanted to switch to something else, they charged huge fees just to get our data out. They keep the data in a special format that's not efficient, so they can ask for almost $100,000 for a small medical practice to leave their system. That really felt unfair.
