The companys commitment to continuous improvement and listening to user feedback is commendable.
Cons
Its a Canadian company that initially had some issues (which theyve largely resolved for US users). Theres a lot to customize but there are a few annoying things that cant be customized.

Compared to Janes competitors its low fees frequent updates and excellent customer support make it the preferred choice among my peers.
Cons
Unfortunately I dont use the charting system. I wish it integrated with more services and made billing insurance easier.

Pros
Janes practice management capabilities allow me to efficiently handle both the business and clinical aspects of my practice within one cloud-based software.
Cons
The lack of a secure messaging tool is a significant drawback. Also the sketch pad in Jane is not as good as other applications making note-taking on an iPad less efficient.

Jane consistently delivers in functionality and customer service. Their responsiveness and abundance of helpful resources like personalized emails and video explanations set them apart.
Cons
Writing letters to doctors is still done outside of Jane in Word. The feature within Jane isnt good enough for this purpose which is my only negative feedback.

Jane is easy to use cost-effective and well-thought-out. Its reliable with rapid and helpful staff support for any minor issues. It includes convenient features like automated appointment reminders and the ability to create and send questionnaires or intake forms before appointments.
Cons
It would be beneficial if Jane could organize stored files into different folders such as lab reports and specialist reports. Sorting files alphabetically or by date would also improve organization. Additionally automating the sending and receiving of faxes within the system would be convenient.

Jane is user-friendly and straightforward to set up with features like online booking and auto-fill for patient information enhancing the patient experience. While the self-check-in feature is convenient allowing patients to complete the appointment process themselves including payment would further streamline operations.
Cons
I didnt like how Jane would lock into the last patient when navigating the schedule leading to frustration. Also the limited color choices for services made it hard to differentiate. The shift and tagging functions were more complicated than necessary.

The team behind Jane App has thought of everything, they offer extreme flexibility in terms of customization and outstanding functionality in daily use. I love how well it has integrated itself in my medical practice. It truly is a one-stop shop for me and my team. With simple features like automated appointment reminders, intuitive invoicing and reporting to keep track of my top clients, Jane has easily become my only assistant in the office. I consider it to be a crucial part of my practice and would recommend Jane app to my fellow healthcare providers.

For someone who is not an industry specialist, I had a difficult time wrapping my head around the HIPPA compliance element of determining which information is HIPPA compliant and which is not. The lack of clarity was quite confusing. I was in constant contact with a Jane App representative which I thought knew everything but it turned out I was wrong. Thankfully, the management of Jane App is very cooperative and they assigned a professional who sat with me to discuss the issues and devised a training plan and even a workaround.
