Sometimes, I encounter hiccups with insurance verifications. Occasionally, HMO and out-of-network plans slip through unnoticed by the staff because Phreesia indicates them as active and complete. I've had to learn to meticulously check benefit details to catch these before the visit.

Cons

The only aspect of the software I am not fond of is the general support line. It's outsourced overseas, and often, explaining the issue takes longer than fixing it.

Implementing Phreesia proved timely for us. We adopted it at the beginning of 2020, just before COVID guidelines were introduced. It enabled us to maintain operations by allowing patients to complete registration before their appointments, minimizing waiting room occupancy.

Cons

There is not much to criticize about Phreesia. One common patient complaint is the lengthy intake process, although the information requested is necessary and identical to paper forms.
