“best for telehealth sessions”
Pros
telehealth tools are simple for both clinician and client and experience very few streaming problems.
Cons
Finding business items like forms and documents is really hard for me. Sometimes the billing is incorrect and I can't edit it.

“All tools in one place”
Pros
I'm using a single cloud platform that keeps a lot of the tools I need together in one spot. Being able to create and schedule clients and store their notes inside this system is essential for my workflow. It also functions reliably across various devices and helps me keep my work organized.
Cons
I ran into a few hiccups while trying to move our client data from the existing instance into a new instance we were setting up, which slowed the transfer process.

“hipaa-compliant patient management”
Pros
I'm really happy with the HIPAA compliant setup since it keeps everything in one place patient contact info, insurance details, billing notes and the related records all stay organized in a single site.
Cons
There are times when the workflow takes too many clicks. It would be better if the system supported pre saved notes that could be adjusted during the current session. Pricing is also a concern.

“Its actually great!”
Pros
Booking uses a drag and drop flow, the intake forms send straight to the client automatically and the billing section hooks into reminders so I'm forgetting a lot less. It all feels nicely connected instead of bouncing between steps.
Cons
The only snag I've hit is that video calls can get choppy on certain days and support doesn't always respond as quickly as I'd expect.

“Responsive support”
Pros
SimplePractice has been solid for my practice flexible, adaptive and genuinely transparent. Their email support is responsive and actually helpful which is exactly what a healthcare setting needs.
Cons
In my experience, there aren't many negatives. I'd just love an easier option to send patients their pharmacy preference.

“solid EHR”
Pros
It covers the basics of an electronic health record and it gives you the core items you need to actually run a private practice.
Cons
Pricing is the sticking point. There are plenty of other programs with basically the same kind of platform that cost less.

“Good support but unstable product”
Pros
I've found that SP is backed by strong support. When I need technical or other product help, customer service responds quickly and focuses on practical, solution-driven answers. I also rely on numerous self-help resources like articles and tutorial videos. On top of that, SP comes with a wide range of capabilities and I appreciate that it includes options to submit insurance claims.
Cons
the telehealth component feels unstable and frequently unreliable which is frustrating. I also think the pricing is high and they recently raised the monthly subscription costs. To get features like calendar synchronization I had to move to their top-tier plan, which seems excessive. There's no autosave, so I find myself constantly hitting save or risking losing progress notes. I miss a split-screen video with a note-typing area that other EHRs offer, and calendar sync is limited. They even charge extra to use CPT codes.

“Simple billing tracking”
Pros
love how simple it is to monitor billing and analytics details, the features are simple and make reviewing the information quick and painless.
Cons
The appointment color coding is frustrating because several of the shades are too similar and make scheduling confusing, I feel some of the colors should be altered so they're more distinguishable. I also dislike that the autopay setting gets turned off whenever insurance providers finalize claims and update a client's responsibility.

“very efficient tool!”
Pros
One thing I like is having HIPAA-compliant functionality all in one place, letting me save patient contact details, insurance information, billing notes and similar records.
Cons
I get frustrated by how many clicks are required sometimes, a pre-saved note I could tweak within the current session would save time and the price is also a concern.

Pros
The app has a really user friendly interface and the built in features are genuinely helpful especially the integration with insurance providers for submitting and managing claims.
Cons

Pros
Simple Practice helps me finish client documentation in a hurry. The ability to toggle client details from my existing notes and prior documentation in real time makes the whole process feel simple and quick.

Pros
The platform feels simple to work with day to day. Support also deserves a shout customer service replies were quick and the team came across as genuinely responsive when questions came up.
Cons

“easy setup”
Pros
SimplePractice is simple to pick up and simple to use day to day. I really like how it integrates with the treatment planners which makes diagnosis and treatment planning feel a lot more organized than before. It also supports basic calendar integration for providers so you can view your scheduled services right on your personal calendar. Whenever anything minor has come up, I haven't run into any serious problems and issues are usually resolved quickly.
Cons
There isn't much I'd change. SimplePractice covers what I need and it still gives enough customization options for users to tailor it to their workflow.

“simple practice for solo therapy”
Pros
Using SimplePractice since 2018 has been a really positive fit for running my solo private practice. It sounds a bit cliche to say it makes things "simple," but honestly that's the closest description I can give. I'd boil it down to three big areas that make day to day operations almost too effortless.First up is scheduling. I'm able to plan client appointments weeks ahead, including both weekly and every other week clients and still slot in occasional one time sessions without accidentally double booking myself. Clients can cancel through the system and I can clearly see whether they're set for in person or virtual sessions. I also like that I can define appointment times in a way that leaves room for breaks like eating, instead of cramming everything into unrealistic blocks. Scheduling also ties in billing codes, session alerts before each visit and a few other details that aren't really feasible to recreate in Google Calendar. Plus, with the option to sync with other calendars, managing my weekly flow feels even more organized. Billing has been a huge relief too especially with bilingual insurance. SimplePractice removed a lot of the guesswork and intimidation. I can submit billing for multiple clients at once in just a couple of clicks which is honestly hard to believe when you're used to doing everything manually. And when something does come up (rare for me), customer support is great. They walk through fixes step by step so even email back and forth stays simple. Telehealth rounds it out. My clients appreciate being able to join sessions from their iPad, laptop or phone with a single click. It's especially helpful for adolescent clients and having the option to use a backup device if something dies mid session is a lifesaver. During sessions, they can message in the chat and I can also share my screen to work through exercises when needed. Family sessions are also manageable across multiple devices when the situation calls for it. Overall, running the practice from intake through termination feels so organized that I sometimes worry I'm going to forget something until I remember there are even alerts if I miss a note or if a client has an outstanding balance. Even the "human error" part gets handled.
Cons
A live support option would be nice at the moment it looks like it's only included with a higher plan so I'll need to revisit that and see if it's worth upgrading.
