“Attractive pricing”

Pros

The pricing, onboarding tools and customer support have all been excellent. It's been a really helpful platform for getting started.

Cons

I haven't run into any downsides yet. It has been a very useful resource as I was getting everything up and running.

“great customer care”

Pros

Running a solo private practice feels much more manageable with it because it covers everything I need in one place. I use it for scheduling, notes, billing, credit card processing and keeping client records organized. The electronic intake forms were simple to build and customize and I was also able to make alternate versions for specific populations without much trouble. I've also been really happy with customer support and how responsive the company has been to community feedback, including updates to the way sex and gender are asked on the standard demographic form.

Cons

There are still a few quirks that pop up from time to time, especially when I'm editing questions in an intake form. I can make changes but if I try typing in the middle of an existing question, the cursor jumps to the end so I usually have to delete backward and retype the text. I run into little bugs like that once in a while although none of them have actually stopped me from getting my work done. Another thing I don't love is that when the option is turned on for clients to enter credit card information during online paperwork, it becomes required rather than optional. I'd prefer a setting that lets clients add a card if they want to pay that way, while still allowing them to skip it if they choose. I know that won't bother every therapist since many want a card on file but I'd still like more flexibility there.

“huge upgrade for us”

Pros

Our previous software felt slow, outdated and overly complicated so moving to this platform was a big improvement. We recently upgraded to the paid plan and have been really happy with it. The transition was much faster than we expected and the whole setup process was very simple. Since making the change, everything has gone really well and the customer support team has been knowledgeable and genuinely helpful whenever we've needed them.

Cons

support doesn't offer a phone number. When something urgent comes up or it seems like it should be a quick fix, the only option is to send an email and wait for a reply. Sometimes they get back within an hour but other times it's not until the end of the day which means the issue has to sit unresolved until then.

“Exceptional scheduling and calendar tools”

Pros

The scheduling and calendar tools are probably going to be the most useful part for me, especially with the appointment reminder feature included.

Cons

It's taking me a little more time than I expected to learn how everything works. That said, the instructions and video tutorials are really helpful and make the process much easier.

“Thorough setup guidance”

Pros

Best part for me is how thorough the setup guidance is. Pretty much any question that comes up is covered with either a video, an article or both which makes getting started really simple.

Cons

I honestly can't think of anything I dislike about it.

“Secure payment process”

Pros

Getting started with it was simple and the setup didn't take much effort. They also sent plenty of reminders about anything that still needed to be completed and the payment process felt secure and was handled quickly.

Cons

it's not very family-friendly for divorced parents since only one person can log in and sign for each client.

“Clients can pay through it”

Pros

Found it to be user-friendly and that makes daily work much easier. The customer support team is helpful, the online community is useful, scheduling is simple and the mobile app adds a lot of convenience. I can enter information and manage appointments right at my fingertips. It also includes everything needed for insurance billing. Since it integrates with Stripe, processing credit card payments is smooth and I can create invoices and email them to clients. Clients are also able to pay and communicate with their therapist through the system.

Cons

A few important pieces are still missing. There's no way to create a monthly progress report or a court report and treatment plans can't be signed. Also, every additional user comes with an extra charge.

“Lets clients pay online”

Pros

The video tutorials have been really helpful and I appreciate that my clients can schedule and make payments online. Creating superbills is a big plus for those of us running self-pay practices and the calendar links are useful too.

Cons

The intake form options don't really work for me, especially the adolescent version. Setting up the account also feels a bit piecemeal and I wish the overall setup had a better flow. I know there's a live 1,1 consultant option but it has been hard for me to schedule and I'd prefer to be able to navigate more of it on my own. I'd also love clearer guidance on widgets and more platform-specific instructions like how to add a widget to Divi. The schedule blocks could be simpler to use and would be better if they were color-coded.

Everything I need is kept in one place which makes the whole platform really convenient to use.

Cons

At times, I still have trouble locating my intake paperwork and certain client portal settings. It can take a bit of time to remember where everything is.

“quick payment transfers”

Pros

Clients can book their own appointments which I really appreciate. The payments are transferred into my account very quickly, almost right away.

Cons

I'd prefer the self-scheduling layout to be displayed in a different format such as week by week or in a monthly view.

“Handy shared calendar”

Pros

Set up process was easy thanks to the tutorials. The shared calendar for all employees is really useful and the HIPAA-compliant messaging is a feature I truly value.

Cons

The billing setup and overall billing workflow couldn't be explored until the free trial ended. Because of that, I had to do quite a bit of research before signing up to really understand how manageable that part of the system would be.

“calendar integration with Gmail is amazing”

Pros

The client portal has been a big plus and the calendar integration with Gmail is really helpful.

Cons

The calendar tools aren't very user-friendly, especially having to switch back and forth between "availability" and the "client calendar." Building custom forms took more effort than expected and keeping track of all the client information can feel a little confusing at times.

“Easy to learn for new users”

Pros

Getting comfortable with this software took very little time and even without much experience with these kinds of tools, I was able to learn it quickly. The interface feels simple and easy to navigate.

Cons

The lack of a customer service phone number is annoying and having that option would make it easier to get faster responses when help is needed.

“User-friendly tool with helpful tutorials”

Pros

Using the software felt very user-friendly and I really appreciated the video tutorials as well.

Cons

What bothered me was that every time I clicked on "settings," it automatically took me to the password change tab, even when that wasn't what I needed. On top of that, when I went to update my password, I had to remember my old one first which I didn't always have on hand.

“free 30-day trial is a bonus”

Pros

The free 30-day trial was a really nice bonus. It's very simple to use and it comes with lots of useful features for clients. They also sent me an invitation to try telehealth for 17 days which was exciting.

Cons

having to upgrade during the 30-day free trial just to bill insurance was a downside.

“Gives complete visibility”

Pros

Having a built-in telehealth option has been really helpful. Everything I need is visible on a single page and the column on the right makes it especially convenient to keep track of things. Uploading documents has also been pretty simple which has mattered a lot since I recently switched EMR systems.

Cons

The intake forms setup hasn't worked as well for me. Moving from paper or emailed forms to fully using the forms within the system has been really challenging to integrate.
