“Zero phone customer service
Pros
Navigation and usability are simple.
Cons
Its frustrating that the customer service team adamantly avoids phone calls for issue resolution or inquiries. Finding a phone number is nearly impossible.

“There is no SUPPORT and They increase the fee for doing the same, for nothing.
Pros
Similar features are available at a lower cost with other software.
Cons
I find their pricing to be disproportionate to the value they offer.

“It has potential, but needs significant functionality improvements
Pros
Billing and payment via Stripe Integration are seamless. Telehealth reliability has improved. Customizable forms are a plus. However the treatment planner with Wiley creates unnecessary steps.
Cons
This software falls short in addressing POS coding changes making it unsuitable for insurance-based providers. Its accessibility is lacking with rigid visual presentation and poor communication during service outages.

“Price Gouging
Pros
While I like the platform the frequent price increases are a downside.
Cons
Over the span of two years my Simple Practice subscription surged by 68%. The added cost doesnt align with the additional features provided leaving me dissatisfied with the increased expense.

“Biggest fan is now biggest detractor
Pros
I was a strong advocate for SP in the past. However with the new management the company has shifted its focus and its not the same as before.
Cons
Its evident that theyre facing financial strain reflected in their exorbitant price hike of nearly 200%. This undermines the trust therapists have in them and reveals a shift towards profit over service.

“Value is ok, but not sustainable for small private practice
Pros
Getting started and using the platform is straightforward.
Cons
The price hike in March forced me to opt for the basic plan as the increased cost was unsustainable for my practice.

“Expensive but (almost) worth it
Pros
SimplePractice offers a comprehensive array of features customizable to every aspect of a mental health practice from intake to discharge.
Cons
SimplePractice offers various pricing tiers but despite paying a premium fee direct support remains elusive. The abundance of instructional videos doesnt compensate for the absence of immediate assistance.

“Great Product Terrible Customer Service
Pros
Scheduling and note-taking are user-friendly. However more customization options for bills and receipts would be beneficial.
Cons
Contacting them directly is a hassle as email responses can take up to a week and representatives often lack knowledge and friendliness.

“I used to love this produce but can no longer recommend it
Pros
Creating note templates and calendar sync features are highlights for me. I also appreciate the ability to automate monthly Superbill sending.
Cons
Following its acquisition Simple Practice introduced unnecessary features and inflated pricing. The disregard for customer feedback and imposition of unwanted services reflect poorly on the companys integrity.

“Unwanted new features to justify significant price increase.
Pros
I appreciated the original pricing plans for their affordability and inclusion of basic features necessary for my practice.
Cons
Simple Practices sudden price hike for features we neither requested nor need is unacceptable. The lack of essential functions and poor service undermine its value.

“Disappointed and downhill from there
Pros
Some note templates are preferable to click boxes and the ability to bill secondary insurance electronically is a major advantage.
Cons
Simple Practices accounting and billing features are insufficient and risk revenue loss. The reliance on premium versions for basic functionality is unjustifiable.
