“Kareo is User Friendly!”
Pros
As a physical therapist, it's vital to have user-friendly software, and Kareo's EMR and billing features fit the bill perfectly. Charting is quick and straightforward, allowing me to complete patient documentation efficiently. This makes the charting process much more manageable, ultimately enhancing productivity during busy clinic days.
Cons
Occasional system updates require re-learning but have not been a major issue.

“Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Vandalized my practice.”
Pros
Accessing analytics is easy. The staff members were quite friendly, although there seemed to be a lack of coordination among them.
Cons
The staff is very disorganization and it is quite frustrating. One person has no idea what the other is doing. No one takes responsibility for anything. I can't get a straight or consistent answer from anyone. The salespeople are dishonest. I specifically asked if I would have complete control over my website, and they assured me that I would. But the reality is, I have no control. They control all of my data and not me. Having control is important if you want to run Facebook or Google ads. These companies algorithms can't learn about your website or drive traffic to you because Patient Pop pools all your data with others for their own benefit, not yours. I personally built out my own Google Business Page, and Patient Pop had nothing to do with it. However, they deleted all of my work. Everything! It's as if they purposely vandalized my most important source of exposure for my practice in the community. I'm left wondering if it was out of spite, ignorance, or incompetence. Maybe it was a combination of all three. I don't know, but I'm the one suffering the consequences. My advice is to stay far, far away from this company.

“Tebra is User Friendly!”
Pros
As a physical therapist attending to numerous patients per day, it is essential to have a software that is intuitive. With Tebra, the EMR and billing processes are easy to learn and use. I can complete charting for each patient within 10 minutes. It makes charting tolerable!
Cons
Occasionally, Tebra updates the system with changes, which means I have to relearn the system. However, it doesn't take long to get used to the updates.

“Not good value for the money”
Pros
Unfortunately, they failed to fulfill their promise. Everything they promised turned out to be just false talks.

They make promises they can't fulfill. They don't allow for payment on the website unless I use their service.

“Good luck trying to off-board”
Pros
My experience was very unpleasant. I made a mistake when signing up!
Cons
I gave it a try, but after a while, I realized it wasn't worth the money. Our contract ended, and I clearly stated that I didn't want to renew. However, they continue to bill my credit card and are unresponsive when I try to cancel.

“Multiple Issues!!!”
Pros
Nothing much. They send text messages from a hidden number to the providers phone. Google Voice offers the same service at a fraction of the cost.
Cons
I've had multiple issues! If you want to grow your new/small business, avoid working with Tebra. I haven't gained any new clients since I started using Tebra. I receive less than one inquiry per month. They haven't sent a review survey to any of my current clients in 9 months, which was a significant reason why I chose Tebra to improve my SEO presence. They made mistakes while implementing a payment system on my website. I had to switch back to paper-based payments after setting a start date for online payments that Tebra provided. It's challenging to get them to address the issues they've caused. Instead of leading me forward, I had to fix all their mistakes myself. -Dr. Ahrens

“group practice”
Pros
It's user-friendly and easy to navigate. It is also fast and intuitive.
Cons
If you sign up as a group make sure that you are the account owner. Otherwise, you can be removed from the account and lose access to your own notes. The migration process takes time, and only patient demographics and schedules transfer over. Medications do not migrate. It's a hassle to move your data.

“Tebra is a waste!”
Pros
Tebra seems to be quite basic. There are numerous issues to deal with regarding charting, appointments and billing. I would never consider using it again.
Cons
Dealing with Tebra billing was a nightmare. It seemed like 90% of the billed patients were incorrect. I always had to adjust bills and follow up with patients, which was a waste of time. The photos never ended up in the correct patient charts and if they go to the correct patient charts the photos end up incorrect.

“Horrible Billing, EMR software”
Pros
It is easy to use, even though scheduling appointments requires a significant amount of manual work.
Cons
The software frequently experiences downtime or glitches. In one instance, they auto-billed three times for a single medical consult. They don't accommodate time zones.

“Horrible/ Avoid at all costs”
Pros
I can't find any advantages. I strongly recommend avoiding it. The employees don't even stick around. It should undergo an audit.
Cons
As a small business owner, Tebra scammed me out of over $1300. This system doesn't even work with my company. I am paying $149.00 a month for nothing! I feel taken advantage of. If I could rate them a 0, I would.

“Poor customer service.”
Pros
The mobile app was accessible, but the notification system for appointments was not enough.
Cons
The company has poor business communication and lacks good customer service ethics. I paid for services that I didn't receive, and there is no grace period for late payment. Access to medical records is not guaranteed. At the very least, I should have access to patient information even if I can't use the product.

“Garbage EHR and customer service”
Pros
This software is the worst choice I've ever made. There's nothing positive about it.
Cons
The customer service is terrible. If I could give them negative stars, I would. The EHR software is garbage, and the customer service agents yelled at me on the phone and refused to help or transfer me to a manager. Another agent, repeatedly hung up on me. The success coach and the sales manager, were equally horrifying. They tricked me into a contract and then deceived me into paying a large sum of money to end the contract against my will.

“Don't buy Tebra. The only thing guaranteed is that you will lose money and customers.”
Pros
I can't say anything positive. The experience has been so frustrating that I can't think of anything good to say. All I can think about is how embarrassed I will be with my next patient who can't access the portal.
Cons
It's an absolute disaster. I can't find words to describe how much of a failure it is. The portal is inaccessible for patients. 8 out of 10 patients can't even access it. The system keeps claiming that the DOB is incorrect. Tebra expects the clinic to conduct tests for each patient who unable to access the portal. The system only communicates through Gmail, leaving out patients with Yahoo, Hotmail, and other email providers. Tebra wants a test done for every claim made. If you decide to use Tebra, you better hire additional staff just to deal with their daily tests and claims. It doesn't allow itemized invoices. The system is not user-friendly, and customization is out of the question. I cannot recommend it. Rest assured, you'll lose money and customers.
