“Outsource your billing”
Pros
There is a significant cost associated with this service. However it is cost-effective than hiring a new employee.
Cons
We made the decision to outsource our billing because managing it in-house became overwhelming. Outsourcing to Tebra turned out to be cost-effective, and they did an exceptional job. They put us in a better position, and the software is very user-friendly.

“Disappointed”
Pros
It is cheaper compared to other solutions (now I understand why), and it is simpler than more expensive EMRs. It offers e-prescribing functionality.
Cons
The customer service was not helpful at all. Their response times were slow, and they gave me incorrect answers. I had to solve a major issue (sound on telemedicine calls) by myself. Not being able to hear my clients was a major problem, and they couldn't assist me. I am now less than 6 months into a contract and stuck with them regardless. They focus all their efforts on sales without any follow-up. Scheduling with the setup team assigned to me was extremely difficult. They followed a script and lacked flexibility in tailoring the setup to my specific needs.

Occasionally, the software experiences glitches or fails to load for days, which negatively impacts both doctors and patients in terms of scheduling appointments.

“Worst company ever! They will trick you”
Pros
There is nothing I like about it. I am upset with how the entire company has treated me.
Cons
This has been the worst experience ever. A company should be aware when their services aren't being used, especially if they claim to have a supportive team.

“Easy to use EHR Ever Used”
Pros
Tebra is incredibly user-friendly for individuals with limited programming experience and requires minimal preparation. The support during execution is outstanding, and their customer care is excellent. The templates, forms, and SALT Feature provided are exceptional, saving time and making documentation a breeze. The design and display of EHR notes are seamless and professional. I like how I can choose which information to share and easily do so through the Care Coordination feature in each note. I love having all my clinical, billing, records, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, Reputation Watch, client engagement, and much more all from a single vendor! Lastly, Tebra actively seeks feedback on how they can improve and demonstrates their commitment to customer care through excellent communication, accountability, and following through on their promises. Tebra offers an unparalleled platform with fair pricing. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
Cons
It would be nice to have the choice to link records to the internal email system while communicating with patients.

“Great site for paying your bills online.”
Pros
The features on Tebra Billing are incredibly easy to use. I love utilizing the software because it allows you to select the suitable billing options, whether it's credit, debit or ACH debit from a checking account.

“Buggy with no solutions”
Pros
The features have many bugs. Using patient messages and communication is difficult and they don't attach to the patient chart. The schedule is unwieldy and buggy. In the day view, you can't see blocked time. There is also no audit trail for appointment changes. Additionally, they fired the sales representative and didn't honor his pricing, attempting to lock us into a long-term contract.
Cons
It's cost-effective and simple to use. We had a staff member who used it for a solo practice and was familiar with it.

“This company is highly UNETHICAL”
Pros
The software appears outdated and is not user-friendly.
Cons
I had to let go of my in-house biller and when I called to cancel the service, I was told by a support team staff member that I had a contract and would be charged an early termination fee. I explained that I am the owner of the business and I never personally signed a contract. My accountant had access to my email and electronically signed my name. That was the only interaction Tebra had with me, and it wasn't even me. Upon reviewing my emails, Tebra staff asked my accountant if she was a system administrator, and she answered affirmatively. They never bothered to verify it from me as I am the owner. The early termination fee amounted to $1194, which I unwillingly paid. They were unwilling to waive it and suggested that I go after my accountant since she committed the fraud. As a small business already struggling with billing due to the negligence of my biller, I cannot afford to hire an attorney to pursue legal action for fraud. It's not feasible within my current budget. Just when I thought it was settled, two weeks later, I received a bill for an additional $102, which they claim is for taxes and cannot be waived. In my opinion, they entered into a fraudulent contract and are holding me, a struggling small business, accountable. I refuse to give any more money to this unethical company and will be filing a complaint with the BBB. I hope potential clients read this and choose not to use this company. There are more affordable software options available with better business practices.

“Could be great, but isn't yet”
Pros
The user interface is relatively simple, the navigation is easy, and I can electronically send lab orders. The customer support is responsive, and the specialist who assisted me during onboarding was engaged. The note structure is excellent because I can view all the note sections at all times, which makes concurrent charting effortless. Although I don't work with the billing side of the software, it seems nice to work with. On the patient side, it does a great job with appointment reminders, and the telehealth platform is relatively easy to use (although it does have some audio reliability issues). Overall, Tebra seems open to feedback and actively works on improvements, which is crucial. I would gladly update this review in the future if the application's efficiency and usability improve because there are many things I genuinely like about it. However, there are currently too many problematic areas for me.
Cons
As a MacBook Air user running the latest Monterey OS, I faced issues with Tebra on both Chrome and Firefox. There was no auto-save feature for notes, which resulted in losing them if my computer shut down or Tebra closed unexpectedly. Despite getting constant error messages (Code: 500), clearing cookies and rebooting didn't help. I spent hours contacting support, but they couldn't provide solutions. On a positive note, Tebra now has auto-save for notes, but the error messages persist, forcing me to reload the site frequently. Additionally, Chrome doesn't allow me to use templates effectively in my notes, rendering them useless. It's frustrating since these are Tebra-developed templates.

“Extremely Poor Management Team and Customer Service”
Pros
I utilized Patient Pop to host my webpage and direct visitors to my practice.
Cons
Tebra added services and charged me without permission, tripling my previous bill to around $2000 per month. They attribute it to glitches in their new billing software but haven't refunded the money. They even requested signing another contract due to their own glitches! Unable to reach a supervisor, and the appointment I made was unilaterally canceled.

“RA will not post and can't bill secondary insurance.”
Pros
The software is decent, but the support team is terrible. Remittance gets posted, but when it's from the same provider for the same patient, it doesn't post, and the support team always blames the payer. In this case, it's Medicare. But when I showed them an RA from Medicare that posted without any issue, they couldn't provide an answer and kept saying the provider isn't sending proper information. However, they can't specify what information they're looking for.
Cons
Our inability to post primary payments prevented us from billing secondary insurance, resulting in monthly revenue loss. Switching to another solution due to the lack of understanding from the non-US support team regarding Medicare.

“The worst of the worst”
Pros
The layout is fairly simple to understand with intuitive navigation and basic functionality. It's easy to learn and get started with because it has minimal functionality. Writing notes is relatively simple.
Cons
I find Tebra to be the most frustrating EMR I've encountered among the eight I've used. Despite hearing about this issue from other reviews, I didn't expect it to happen to me. The automatic logout feature is timed but functions differently than any other system. It logs you out randomly, even in the middle of writing a note or entering demographic data, without warning. All the work you've done is lost, resulting in rewriting notes multiple times. It even logs you out repeatedly while scheduling visits, making the process extremely time-consuming. Sometimes, even after logging back in, it automatically logs you out again. This issue persists regardless of the type of computer you use.

“Wort Implementation Ever”
Pros
If we were actually trained on the software, I can imagine how it would be user-friendly.
Cons
Tebras installation has been a nightmare. They only offer in-person training after watching numerous online videos. They linked our account with Practice Fusion before we had everything set up in Tebra, leading to denied claims and a chaotic situation. Despite being four months in, we haven't been able to schedule proper training. We've lost thousands of dollars on claims, and trainings are often rescheduled or canceled last minute. They only offer in-person training once, causing significant inconvenience. If I wasn't locked into a contract and didn't lose $25k in billing, I would leave Tebra immediately.
