“easy listing but no real benefit
Pros
One thing I really like is how easy it was to enter my details and get listed on their platform. Overall I found the interface tidy and very simple to use.
Cons
To my disappointment, Kareo never proved useful for my work as a practitioner. I completed my profile and entered all my details, yet from what I could see it provided no real benefit.

“Wide range of features and reports
Pros
I appreciate that the software offers a wide range of features and I can generate numerous types of reports to extract whatever data I need whenever I want.
Cons
At first I had to watch a set of tutorial videos and even complete tests before I could access different parts of Kareo. In one case when I needed guidance on posting payments, I was only offered a single complimentary live training session. And if I wanted more instruction beyond that, I discovered I had to pay extra. On a day to day level I get annoyed performing routine tasks because the software offers so many routes to reach the same screen but none follow the path I'd expect. I really think the interface could be alignd and made much more user friendly. Additionally whenever I ask for help about a specific issue, I am often redirected to a generic video tutorial that doesn't directly address my unique situation which leaves me still searching for the right solution.

“Simple and clean navigation
Pros
The tool is really simple to use and navigate. The primary portal page has a clean yet amazing look and feel that makes navigation simple. It's not built like a cutting-edge technical platform but I believe that's deliberate so everyone can use it without trouble.
Cons
When we first set it up, the onboarding process felt very segmented, with different teams and people responsible for specific parts of the job. That approach made things efficient and fast overall but it also led to a few hiccups like some teams seemed unaware of what others had completed or had trouble coordinating with one another. Once I raised the issue, the team lead stepped in and handled it appropriately.

I am a fan of how smoothly everything connects from designing and hosting the website to scheduling patients, capturing their information and then pulling in patient reviews.
Cons
Lately, when an issue comes up, I have found it difficult to get timely, responsive and effective problem-solving from the tech support team so fixes can feel slow and frustrating.

Pros
I really like the excellent customer service as reaching out to support to add or change anything on our site is incredibly simple and stress-free and I am consistently met with fast responses and attentive support.
Cons
Adding a visible 'Support' or 'Help' button/tab on the administrator page would make it easier for me to get assistance when needed.

“Simple growth but inconsistent support
Pros
Being able to easily publish blog posts and request reviews from patients makes it simple for me to grow our practice's online presence.
Cons
I don't like that I am never alerted when review-request emails bounce back. If I knew messages weren't getting through, I could correct patients' contact details promptly and avoid wasting outreach attempts. It also bothers me that when someone replies saying they didn't enjoy their visit, that negative feedback never reaches me so I lose the opportunity to address complaints or try to resolve issues directly with that patient. In the beginning with PatientPop I had a single person handling my account which felt organized now I am handed off to a 'team,' and I hardly ever see the same representative twice. Because of that turnover, I find myself repeatedly following up on open items that simply get forgotten. I am frequently told that follow-up will be provided on specific requests, yet I don't receive those promised updates and must chase the rep myself or remind them that I had already asked for something. This combination of missing delivery alerts, absent unhappy-patient notifications and inconsistent, impersonal support adds unnecessary extra work and frustration for me.

Pros
For me, this program is really simple to navigate and use and getting it to integrate with other tools was fairly simple.
Cons
I wish they'd offer connections to a wider range of electronic health platforms, since I am currently juggling both PatientPop and my EHR's scheduling system and it'd really help if they also provided a lower-cost plan aimed at beginners.

“Cheap but slow customer service
Pros
At first I thought their support would impress me but it turned out not to be the case. the main appeal seems to be that it's cheap.
Cons
I have found their customer service is slow as ticket responses drag, particularly when sorting out Google account issues and the phone numbers they assign or handle are confusing and illogical.

I had a website developed that turned out both beautiful and functional and it genuinely solved the problems I was facing in my practice.
Cons
honestly the system wasn't customizable. Their approach felt all about SALeS instead of genuine quality service. I picked another virtual server I really like but PP kept trying to push me back onto their platform. I hate integrated setups for exactly this reason as they leave me locked into one vendor for everything. I felt like I lost control and was at the company's mercy. Beyond pushing me toward THeIR services, they flat-out refused to tailor the system to work with my chosen virtual server. We cannot do that might as well be their slogan.

Setting things up was pretty simple. early on, the development team showed enthusiasm. My website was completed and uploaded within a reasonable timeframe.
Cons
Feels too cookie-cutter, my website looks just like everyone else's. SeO hasn't worked as I am still stuck on Google's fourth or fifth results page. Customer support is awkward and slow to reply. The setup feels overly bureaucratic, like dealing with a cable company. There wasn't a dedicated contact or advisor and once my site launched, there was just no follow-up.

Pros
At our practice, we really like that this software comes packed with a lot of bonus features that other vendors would typically bill as add-ons. I am especially fond of the content team offerings in PatientPop as they handle social media, paid social campaigns and write blogs covering the topics we selected.
Cons
I really dislike that there isn't a single, dedicated person assigned to manage our account when we want changes or updates to our website instead we have to submit a support ticket and wait for whoever is available to respond to our issues. Having one primary point of contact for everything would simplify and speed up the whole process so much and reduce confusion.

Being able to track my patients and keep an eye on SeO has been really useful and I find the interface simple to use.
Cons
I am frustrated that the software won't let me set an existing appointment to 15 minutes, yet it forces new appointments to be 30 minutes long.
