Pros
I find that using this software in our office is quite simple and uncomplicated.
Cons
After using the product for a while and understanding its limitations, I created "workarounds" to make it fit my needs. However, I lost those options when updates were made.

I appreciate the customizability in many modules of the software. The appointment book is easy for managing patient appointments, and the charting feature allows for customized templates, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
Cons
Separating business transactions from clinical ones is inefficient. Jumping back and forth is cumbersome, and tooth charting lacks detail for partials.

I enjoy the chart view and appointment view features, and I also appreciate the comprehensive practice account reporting.
Cons

Pros
As a brand-new business and the only EMR system we have used, it seems to do what we need. We aren't sure what we might be missing because we have nothing to compare it to. I like that they do regular updates and added the XL connect feature. The scheduling system is sufficient, and the dentist has no complaints on his end.
Cons
I wish I could customize the schedule more to show the age and insurance type for each appointment since it affects how we schedule patients. I also wish there was a way to check a patient out without closing the chart so the doctor can access it again.

Pros
Patient charting and x-rays are simple. Creating treatment plans is easy, and viewing and sending x-rays and photos is smooth. The appointment book is great for managing two offices on the same system.
Cons
I think there could be some changes to the accounting to make posting to an individual patient simpler. Insurance could also use easier tweaking for procedure codes that may fall into different classifications with insurance companies.

Cons
Billing statements are confusing with limited customization available and don't integrate with most external platforms (voice, claims, etc.), which is discouraging. However, as a standalone, it works well enough.

It's very easy for me to use and train new employees. Fewer buttons mean fewer places to get lost or click wrong.
Cons
The functionality is very limited and not compatible with many outside programs. Reporting is also very limited.

Pros
I've had a great working relationship with the software support team. They've been super helpful in getting the software to do what we need. From what I hear from other offices, that is not the case with other software. I really like the Lighthouse integration for confirming and filling openings; it has saved a lot of front desk time.
Cons
The web access through the patient portal is not easy for patients to navigate. We have a button on our website, but it's still not smooth. It would be nice if partially paid claims showed up in over-30-day claims. I also wish we could have a custom button on accounts to customize on our side, like marking patients with a certain insurance or adding a $ sign for financial accounts.

The different screens are simple for me to understand.
Cons
Navigating between options is a bit much. There's a lot of clicking here and there, and when I try to go back just one step in reports, I can't. It takes me all the way back to the beginning to select parameters again.
