Pros

BambooHR has a clean, user-friendly interface that makes managing employee information, leave requests, payroll-related tasks and other HR work much more convenient. Everything is organized well and most of the features are simple to navigate without much hassle. It's particularly helpful for keeping employee records and core HR processes centralized in one place.

Cons

Few features do take some time to fully understand and certain workflows would benefit from being more flexible and customizable. Better reporting options and stronger integrations would also make the platform more valuable for organizations that have more complex HR needs.

“Convenient payroll and team visibility”

Pros

I really appreciate how much information is available at a glance and it's just as simple to click in and see more detail when needed. When I check payroll, I can quickly view my pay, taxes and deductions all in one place. The site is simple and works well for both small and larger businesses that need to keep up with daily activity. It's an all-around useful platform for everyone and it helps coworkers stay informed about who is out that day, who was recently hired and how much sick or vacation time they have.

Cons

One thing to watch out for is using it through a mobile browser since it doesn't always display the same way as the full website. It's worth paying extra attention when opening or reviewing documents there.

Right from the start it felt simple to use and simple to navigate. The interface is clean and most information is placed where you'd expect it which made handling HR tasks much more manageable.

Cons

A few sections could still be organized better since some information or features took a bit more effort to locate. At times, the system also felt slightly limited depending on the task but overall those were fairly minor drawbacks.

The interface feels clean, simple and really well designed. I especially appreciated not having to deal with any hassle when making selections and the whole experience looks polished and thoughtfully put together.

Cons

Everything worked really well, the process was simple and I'm genuinely very happy with it overall. It's been an excellent experience.

This has been a really good product for both me and my employer. It's a very useful tool for scheduling time off and checking what dates are available.

I don't have any complaints. Bamboo has been very helpful for both me and my employer and I wouldn't want to change anything about it.

I find it stands out to me for being simple, user-friendly and efficient. The app runs really well and its overall performance has been amazing.

It is good overall but there's still room for improvement. I've noticed some loading delays, along with a few bugs and minor glitches that should be fixed.

The look of the website is really appealing. Logging in has a welcoming feel and I appreciate that it regularly shares company updates like new hires and employees' birthdays.

Nothing comes to mind that I dislike. I enjoy using the platform and plan to keep using it.

Pros

Everything is laid out clearly, well organized and simple to find when I need it. It has made keeping track of my hours and required trainings much more manageable and the communication through the platform is very clear as well.

Part I wasn't a fan of was the transition from part-time to full-time. During that change, I had to be careful to enter my time for the entire week all at once, otherwise those days would disappear.

“A positive experience”

Pros

The platform feels simple to navigate, with a clean, well-structured interface that looks pleasant and makes things easy to locate. Company updates and HR messages are also conveniently accessible. I also had a very good experience with BambooHR during the hiring process when I first applied to the company and later when I applied internally for another role. In both cases, the process felt clear and simple.

Cons

A few menus or options only show up when HR has enabled them so once in a while I have to reach out to HR to get access to a feature. That said, it doesn't happen very often.

Getting around the platform feels very simple and booking holidays or days off makes the whole process feel light and hassle-free.

Cons

At times the login doesn't work and you end up having to reset the password. Even after resetting it, there are moments when it still refuses to let you in.

I am pretty happy with most aspects of this ATS as it is simple to find my way around the various tools. My only suggestion would be improving the sourcing functionality.

Cons

Well I feel the platform could really benefit from better sourcing tools and more detailed analytics. Having strong sourcing capabilities and clear data insights is pretty important for our workflow.

Pros

It is a simple program for booking time off and tracking goals. We use it at work and it functions smoothly. The mobile app is also quite handy.

Cons

I find it frustrating that the system does not clearly show how many days I have remaining as I have to calculate it myself based on the total available minus what I have used, rather than just displaying the balance directly.

Bamboo lets our staff easily keep track of personal documents, pay, checked-out equipment, time-off requests and much more!

To be honest I have not personally faced any problems with it. The product is user friendly and really easy to navigate.

It is way too easy to use because everything we need for HR is in one platform. The best part is that we can pick which features you want to pay for and use which keeps things simple and affordable.

Recruitment platforms are not included yet and document templates are not provided either.

“Clear layout but an older layout feel”

Pros

BambooHR has been simple to navigate thanks to its clear and simple layout. It is especially helpful for checking who's going to be out of the office.

Cons

The interface can feel a bit outdated and clunky at times though that might just be a generational preference. I feel like it would also help if switching between languages was easier as my Portuguese-speaking employees often need assistance.

“top-notch but needs more flexibility”

Pros

The user experience is top-notch. It is simple and only shows the most important info. The approval system lets us exchange comments with other approvers and clearly tracks where each request is in the process.

Cons

Not being able to add custom fields to standard tables means we have to create separate custom tables that are not linked to the main ones, leading to data duplication. Approval workflows could also be more flexible allowing us customization of the order and number of approvers and even dynamically assigning them based on conditions.

Pros

BambooHR interface is clean and easy to use as I have never had trouble finding what I need. Also customer support has always been helpful when I have reached out. I can also easily view my payment info from the company payroll right in my account.

Cons

There is not much I dislike about it. There was one time I had trouble locating a document I needed to complete but I managed to find it eventually.
