Great software for HR and employees
Pros

I find the course/lesson registration functionality on Criterion really convenient for company requirements. Registering for classes is a breeze, and it syncs seamlessly with my calendar. I appreciate the time management feature, which keeps track of my remaining PTO days for the year.

Cons

Personally, I perceive the UI as somewhat outdated; it has an old-fashioned appearance, but perhaps we can address that internally.

My experience with criterion
Pros

With minimal data input, payroll processing is remarkably fast. Finding employee information is quick and efficient. The utility tools are excellent for reducing data entry, and it effectively eliminates the issue of double entry.

Cons

I've noticed a slight delay due to heavy usage, resulting in slower performance.

Pros

It's user-friendly and easy to learn. The system ensures that all information filters into the appropriate places, minimizing the need for double entry.

Pros

Employee history is easily accessible, and the time clock feature is a definite advantage. Payroll processing is streamlined with minimal data input, and the re-hiring function is highly beneficial.

Cons

There are several issues with reports, including rounding discrepancies in payments to employees, difficulty in resolving issues promptly, and limitations in creating files for state W-2 reporting despite prior assurances. Additionally, logging into the system can be time-consuming, and obtaining reports tailored to specific benefit reporting needs is challenging. There are also complications regarding employees living and working in different states.

This HR software is genuinely designed with HR professionals in mind. The separation of positions and the ability to track FTEs logically is a standout feature compared to others I've explored, where simple functions like EEO codes are tied to employee records rather than position records.

Pros

The support provided is highly appreciated. They respond promptly to any issues and keep me informed throughout the resolution process. What I love most about the product is how easy it is to access employee information. Having their history at my fingertips is fantastic.

Pros

I consistently receive prompt and excellent assistance from the customer service team. The system's ease of use is commendable.

Cons

I wish I had the ability to add fields independently. While I can relabel fields, the capability to add them on my own is missing.
