Deputy Is Very Helpful
Pros

The software displays all essential information such as employee availability work hours and monthly hours worked. It is userfriendly with straightforward shift copying and simplified leave management. The user interface is convenient and easy to navigate. Getting started is a breeze.

Cons

The platform has only one major inconvenience which is the lack of a simple approach to copying 3week plans. Although shifts can be automatically generated if a nonstandard shift system is utilized there is no way to extend it quickly using copypasting. As a result each shift must be copied and pasted individually. Improving copying and adding a scrolling view that is not restricted only to a week or month would be welcome upgrades

Deputy's userfriendly interface facilitates efficient scheduling for managers to create employee schedules and easily assign shifts. employees can clock in and out using their mobile devices for accurate tracking of work hours. Realtime visibility into attendance data allows businesses to manage labor costs effectively. Effective communication is fostered between managers and employees with task updates messages and notifications sent to individuals or groups through Deputy. Integration capabilities with payroll systems and POS software streamline processes reduce manual data entry and increase operational efficiency. Available on iOS and Android devices the Deputy app allows for mobile accessibility making it convenient for remote workers and businesses with multiple locations.

Cons

Larger organizations may face complexity in managing Deputy due to a significant number of employees while the app generally remains userfriendly. Some users may take time to fully understand the capabilities of the app and may require training and familiarization particularly those who are less techsavvy. Limited offline functionality may pose an inconvenience to some users who rely on the app�s features but do not have a stable internet connection. Deputy offers different pricing tiers with the cost being a concern for small businesses and startups with limited budgets. Although Deputy provides customer support some users have reported difficulties in reaching the support team and experiencing delays in response times. These issues can impact businesses relying heavily on Deputy for troubleshooting or technical assistance.

Intuitive design, and amazing support team.
Pros

Managing the payroll and benefits of a team as large as ours is no easy feat, and I’m glad that the company invested in Deputy, which has helped me greatly over the years. I was a part of the implementation process and collaborated closely with our team to implement the necessary features. It is very responsive, and no query is left unanswered. We have set timelines that are realistic and enabled problem-solving abilities like never before. You won’t believe that payroll entries for our 1000+ employees have been reduced from 7-8 days to just 3-4 hours as a result of the new seamless payroll integration.

Cons

There are so many features that a lot of training is necessary. And the good news is that all the training and material are available, but it’s not always a good thing if you ask me. There should be a beginner or easy mode so that most users can just use it and get the task done instead of sitting through hours of training sessions. The customer support team is great, though, and they keep us informed about system features and upgrades that are coming in the future.
