I've found the support team to be very knowledgeable and they consistently provide excellent, attentive customer service whenever I've needed help.

Cons

So far I haven't run into any significant problems and the staff have always been incredibly supportive whenever I reached out for assistance.

as someone who knew nothing about payroll this was a lifesaver. It's so user-friendly, setup was easy and the automatic tax filings are a dream. My small nonprofit finally brought payroll in-house saving us a ton on accounting fees and giving us time back for our actual mission.

I get bombarded with notifications all the time. I think you can change them in the settings but you have to dig around to find it.

My accountant pointed me to this app for my business and I really like how automated everything is. After the initial setup, it ends up being pretty fuss-free and you can just run with it.

Cons

The only part that bothers me is how long it takes for changes to update once I adjust my payment schedule. I'm probably a bit spoiled by instant updates but they likely need extra double and triple checks and time to cycle things through... at least that probably helps keep your finances safe.

Pros

Not having to stress over payroll taxes anymore has been such a relief. Running payroll for my whole team takes under ten minutes, and grabbing reports or exporting data is fast and uncomplicated now.

I can't really find any big flaws because it covers pretty much everything I need, although I expect there are areas that could be improved.

Gusto really stands out for its all-in-one setup, it pairs a friendly interface with automated payroll and tax handling. It automatically calculates and processes wages and then takes care of filing and paying payroll taxes. Also, it manages employee benefits too, like insurance and retirement plans, all from the same adaptive dashboard. That combination makes it practical for small and mid-sized businesses especially if you don't have dedicated payroll or accounting specialists on staff.

Cons

The only thing I don't love is the cost. Expenses can rise pretty quickly as the company grows or when you add extra functionality. It may be affordable at first for smaller businesses but the pricing is structured as a base fee plus a per-employee charge so costs increase fast with headcount. If you end up using more advanced features, such as benefits administration or additional HR tools, the total can add up even more.

Using it to track my pay has been a lot more manageable than I expected. The interface is simple and I can jump to the tools I need without digging around. It also keeps the information I'm looking for organized so I'm not stuck trying to find things when I need them.

Updating my contact details permanently has been pretty frustrating. I recently got married and my email changed but it still uses the old login email. I haven't been able to figure out a way to update the actual login email and it's annoying since that old address isn't one I use anymore.

Super simple to use and easy to navigate. It also feels like a real one-stop shop for all the HR and People Ops needs I have which makes day-to-day tasks much more simple.

Cons

There isn't anything I dislike at the moment. Overall, it's working really well and staying easy to use.

What I love is how unbelievably easy the interface is getting set up took no time at all. I can pull up my paystub on my phone any time, which is super convenient. Also, that little animated pig is such a charming touch, it never fails to make me smile every time I sign in!

Cons

So far I haven't run into any real problems with the app but I would really value the option to preview my upcoming paycheck a day earlier. That would help me spot errors sooner and give me more time to organize my budget for the next pay period.

Has been the most user-friendly payroll software I've worked with. Adding employees is simple and it's easy to fill in their details and get everything set up without a lot of fuss. Also, their customer support has been fantastic whenever I've had questions.

Xero integration has been a bit confusing at times though it hasn't been a major issue for our team.

Pros

At first I had no clue how to hire people or handle payroll, but this tool walked me through it and made the whole process feel really simple. What impresses me most is that it handles all the tax computations and filings for me automatically.

Cons

there isn't much I can complain about. If anything is off, it's that I haven't explored all the features yet . there are so many settings and options I haven't tried. That's on me, though, not the software, it seems to offer a lot.

The standout feature for me has been the all-inclusive business packages. They took care of pay memos and even handled 1099 filings, plus they communicated with the IRS on my behalf through my financial institution. Everything felt very well put together. I also appreciated that it covered onboarding and the HR paperwork so it saved a ton of time when setting up.

Cons

Pricing runs a little expensive and it can feel intimidating if you're a newer business. Also, the sales team doesn't seem especially strong at proactively communicating features in a clear, transparent way.

This has been a strong platform for career growth. It offers useful support and opportunities that help me move forward professionally.

Occasionally it freezes or gets stuck but aside from that the overall experience is pretty good.

Tool has been working really well for us. Setup is simple and getting employees started didn't take much effort. I also like the way W-2s are handled.. sending them is clear and employees seem to be able to access what they need without confusion.

Pricing runs a bit higher than a few of the other options I looked at.
