A great and affordable talent finder

Pros

It is a great tool for finding top talent without relying solely on LinkedIn which has gotten really pricey lately. HireEZ is affordable and lets us do everything right in the platform so now no more jumping between apps needed.

Cons

Occasionally when I am sourcing, I will include must-have requirements in the search but it still shows me candidate profiles that don't actually have those skills.

huge return with AI and teamwork

Pros

From my time using HireEZ, the return on investment has been huge, thanks mainly to two standout features. The AI review tool lets me scan hundreds of candidate profiles in way less time than doing it by hand almost like giving me superpowered screening skills so I can spot great matches faster. Even better is the project sharing as I can work with my team in real time, sharing candidate lists and notes without messy email chains or scattered spreadsheets.

Cons

There is nothing major as the platform keeps improving to meet user needs. Like any product there is always room to grow.

speeds up recruiting but needs smoother campaigns

Pros

HireEZ speeds up outbound recruiting and makes it way more scalable. Getting around LinkedIn's connection limits and pulling full profiles from different platforms has totally changed how I find hidden or hard to reach talent. The outreach sequencing is smooth and includes a handy option to send emails as hiring managers which boosts response rates while lightening their load. Also it is super easy to learn so new team members get up to speed quickly.

Cons

Campaign management could be smoother. Juggling multiple sequences at once feels a bit awkward and I wish there was built-in A/B testing to help refine outreach messages. Also a little more polish here would make a great tool even better.

useful for fast hiring

Pros

I have found HireEZ really useful when I need to fill several roles fast as the AI search helps me sort through candidates in no time. I also like how the outreach tool keeps my messages tidy and lets me personalize emails even when reaching out to lots of people.

Cons

Every now and then the email contacts are not accurate or bounce back so I end up having to verify them manually. It does not happen often but it can slow things down when it does.

finds hidden candidates quickly

Pros

My favorite thing about it is how it finds passive candidates on sites beyond LinkedIn. It also pulls personal emails and phone numbers easily, saving me lots of research time. The email campaign tool with read receipts is another big win as it keeps all my outreach organized in one spot.

Cons

Sometimes the platform shows duplicate profiles which means extra time spent cleaning them up. There is also a learning curve with all the advanced filters and options especially for someone just getting started.

quick candidate pull-up

Pros

I love being able to quickly pull up candidates based on a job description or resume I provide. Plus the filtering and Boolean search options are really helpful too.

Cons

The initial training session felt a bit rushed but the follow-up trainings I scheduled have been really helpful.

great contacts and campaigns but too many updates

Pros

Having access to candidates direct contact info is a major plus. The campaign feature lets us reach out in a structured, consistent way. And I love that it integrates with our ATS so we can upload candidates straight into the system.

Cons

There are frequent updates which sometimes makes it tricky to find things. Also I noticed the AI functionality is not quite where it needs to be yet.

Uses campaigns and talent pools well

Pros

I regularly use their email campaigns for outreach, talent pools for sourcing and the ATS integration to clean up and organize candidate data into projects.

Cons

Integration between Crelate and HireEZ could be stronger and I'd love to see my Crelate lists sync more smoothly along with opportunities and tags communicating better between the two systems.

great search function but leaning curve

Pros

The search function is great and I like being able to save projects I am working on. It's also helpful to narrow results down to a specific city or region.

Cons

It takes a few tries to get the hang of searching effectively. Once the platform learns the kind of candidates you're looking for, it works really well. So I would say just stick with it.

Valuable contact details

Pros

I really value the contact details and being able to see matching resumes. It is also a nice bonus that when you post a job, plus it shares your listing across other job boards to attract more candidates.

Cons

If there are widespread contact information issues, we have to send each one individually to an engineer to fix. When we have a large batch with outdated or incorrect info, it becomes a manual, time-consuming process.

great contacts but needs better search functionality

Pros

Having access to contact information is key and it's simple to import candidates into our Crelate database without worrying about duplicates.

Cons

Sourcing in it relies more on tag-based searches rather than full boolean logic and the AI-driven tagging is not always accurate. I often end up manually sorting through over-tagged contacts to find the right fit. Since we recruit life sciences executives, our searches are highly complex and boolean search is essential. If your recruiting needs are more simple, I think its approach may work well for you.

Excellent Features with Quality Data

Pros

Boolean generator and x-ray search features have really simplified my recruitment process since my manager recommended this platform. Customer support has been responsive and helpful whenever I've reached out, had two great experiences with them so far.

Cons

I wish there was a way to verify contact info upfront because I often run into dead phone numbers that waste my time

incredible recruiting tool with minor flaws

Pros

search functionality is incredibly powerful, I can hunt for candidates across all the major platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub and Dice without jumping between sites. What really saves me time is being able to upload a job description or resume and let it parse for matching candidates automatically. The Boolean string creator is a lifesaver for complex searches and the email sequencing feature makes bulk outreach so much smoother. I love that I can import and export candidate lists in different formATs and push them straight into our ATs. Their support team is outstanding and they actually respond quickly and seem to genuinely care about helping customers succeed. Plus there's a free plan option which is great for testing it out.

Cons

Import and export features can be buggy sometimes and end up wasting credits though customer service is usually good about refunding them when you reach out. I've seen other users complain about the pricing being steep for bigger companies and staffing agencies but I'm on a lower tier plan that I've had since the Hiretual days which is way more reasonable. You might need to specifically ask about that single user option though.

Finally Found a Tool That Works

Pros

suggested profiles are incredibly accurate. I really appreciate how simple the filtering is and the automation features work great.

Cons

sometimes profiles won't open when I click through to LinkedIn which can be frustrating. Also noticed that candidate job information isn't always current, their employment details seem outdated compared to what's actually on their LinkedIn.

overpriced and disappointing value

Pros

I can quickly locate emails and discover candidates across different industry sectors.

Cons

Pricing jumped more than triple what we were paying and they didn't even give us a heads up. After being loyal customers for over 3 years, they won't honor our previous rate. Doesn't seem like great business practice to me.

Cons

Email delivery issues with Office365

Pros

Honestly the sequence feature is a game-changer for us. It's seriously bumped up our reply rates and honestly, it's just so much easier to stay on top of follow-ups without it being a total headache

Cons

The one big headache is the delivery. Since it piggybacks on our personal Office 365 accounts, a bunch of our emails just get bounced back.

Essential Tool with Minor Hiccups

Pros

Interface is really engaging and keeps me interested during long sourcing sessions. There's so much interactivity available that I never get bored or feel like I'm seeing the same candidates over and over again.

Cons

The sequencing options need some improvement. For proper a/B testing, I'd love to assign a sequence template that automatically sends at preset times instead of manually adjusting the send time every single time. Also there's this annoying thing where two extra lines appear above my signature whenever I review sequences for sending, I have to delete them each time which gets tedious.

perfect recruiting platform

Pros

I've never come across such an excellent tool before. Logging in is comfortable and easy plus finding official and personal email addresses and phone numbers is really simple. Sourcing candidates is incredibly simple too.

Cons

sometimes contact details display incorrectly and certain profiles only show phone numbers or email addresses. Beyond that I haven't encountered any other drawbacks with this tool.
