“Simple features but bad help
Pros
Beti stands out as the most valuable feature & it's incredibly helpful and really makes a difference in how I manage things.
Cons
Customer support has been really disappointing. The team seems to lack proper training and often provides incorrect guidance that actually makes payroll problems worse instead of fixing them.

“Powerfully customizable but complex and costly
Pros
The standout feature for me is the system's incredible customizability. Being able to tailor it to our company's unique needs makes a huge difference in my daily workflow. A special mention has to go to our sales rep, Lana, who has been an absolute gem, incredibly patient and kind while guiding us through the platform.
Cons
The initial setup and learning curve are quite steep. The menu structure feels unconventional, with confusing labels (why do I click "Make Employee Changes" just to search for someone?) and I really miss a persistent search bar. While our account manager is responsive, being pushed to call instead of getting direct email support is inefficient. Finally, it's frustrating that key features like BETI feel like they should be standard but are locked behind an extra paywall on top of what are already substantial fees.

“Great service and easy to use
Pros
Customer service stands out as exceptional & they're very responsive and helpful. What I love most is that employees find it easy to use and the interface looks clean and professional. Everything feels simple and well-organized.
Cons
The visual layout of the start and stop dates on form 2 really bothers me, especially after they updated it about a year ago & it just doesn't look right anymore. During setup, I wish I had asked more questions or been given better explanations about how different features would impact each other because I didn't understand how everything was connected until it was too late.

Pros
Paycom is very convenient as I can clock in at work or from my phone at home. I use it to request vacation, sick days or unpaid time off and to view my pay stubs and W-2s during tax season.
Cons
None at all as I am a big fan of it.

The integrated system was so smooth to work with. Handling my team's schedules felt simpler than with other highly-rated software. My staff can request changes or time off through the app or website and the approval process is really simple.
Cons
Our version includes a time clock and we had issues when adding new employees as I had to contact customer service each time. It turned out the time clock itself was faulty and was not working properly. After it was replaced everything has been running smoothly

It is incredibly user-friendly and has taken so much repetitive work off my hands as an HR Manager. Before I was juggling seven different systems for various employee data having everything and more in one place has been fantastic! Plus employees love having more visibility and control at their fingertips. My favorite feature is Approve My Check as it is completely eliminated payroll errors.
Cons
So far there is nothing I dislike. That said the reporting feature was the trickiest to learn as it's very detailed and customizable, which is great for customization but it does take time to get the hang of it. Once you do it works really well.

It makes navigating HR tasks incredibly smooth with its clean web interface. Whether I'm handling personal stuff or managing my team, everything flows smoothly from timecards to required training modules. What really stands out is the massive library of additional training courses available for the whole organization.
Cons
Can't really think of any major issues after using this for five years, it's been consistently available whenever I've needed it.

The level of technical expertise they provide would be incredibly expensive to build ourselves. What's great is that most features feel really interactive, and even the complex ones are surprisingly easy to learn. Their support team is also wonderful, they're consistently kind and genuinely go out of their way to help.
Cons
Sometimes the automated features feel like they create more work than just handling things manually. Their support team isn't available on weekends and there's no after-hours coverage when you really need help.

Moving from paper-based HR and payroll to this platform has been a game-changer for us. The implementation went incredibly smoothly and I can't say enough good things about their customer support team. I'm in the system daily and it's really easy to use. Paycom's functionality stands out compared to other payroll systems I have used. Plus I love that everything is centralized and you can customize the documents that employees and supervisors sign.
Cons
I have dealt with a customer service rep who knew less about the system than I did. Even though they assigns a team to your account, the support is not always helpful. It would also be nice if it integrated more smoothly with other systems, like benefit providers.
