A huge time-saver for our team

Pros

I cannot emphasize enough how much this system has helped. We are only a few months in and it is already saving me a lot of time.

manages everything for us

Pros

It lets HR manage the entire employee database on one platform, improving efficiency and accuracy for payroll and personnel management. The setup took a while but it was done so thoroughly that we have had no payroll or employee record errors, thanks to tools that handle each process well.

Cons

Each update requires a lot of reconfiguration which takes time. Given the sensitive data and tools involved, I understand why but the rollout has always been flawless in my experience.

Easy but updates too much

Pros

Really easy to get around and works well with our existing systems. Customer support has been solid when I've needed help. I'm on this thing daily for work and there's tons of useful stuff, texting, email templates. Getting it set up was painless too.

Cons

Upgrades happen too often and I wish the boolean search functionality would deliver better results.

complete HR and payroll game-changer

Pros

Switching from our previous payroll provider was one of the best decisions we made. It is user-friendly for both management and staff. What really stands out is how employees can manage their own information which saves us tons of time and reduces HR workload. Our team actually enjoys having that level of control over their data. The transition was surprisingly smooth, despite our old provider making it unnecessarily difficult to leave. We've integrated all our benefits through EDI and it's been a game-changer for open enrollment and benefit changes, so much less manual work involved. The talent management features have streamlined our hiring process significantly and onboarding new hires couldn't be easier. Having a dedicated support rep who's always available and genuinely pleasant to work with makes a huge difference. Both HR and employees use it daily without any issues and I'd definitely choose this solution again.

Cons

I honestly can't think of anything I dislike about it. My only issue is not having enough time to fully explore and utilize all the features this platform offers.

It works but missing key reports

Pros

Its very easy to get hang of and being able to view things from the employee's perspective is incredibly helpful for understanding their workflow.

Cons

The lack of a ready-made AAP report is honestly shocking to me and I can't wrap my head around why this wasn't included from the start.

A good rep is everything

Pros

The main positive is that their 800 number usually picks up pretty quickly without making you wait forever. We've finally got a rep who's stuck around for more than just a couple months and he's actually really good at what he does!

Cons

Customer service can be hit or miss depending on which rep you get assigned. I've noticed some improvement over the past year but there's still inconsistency in the support quality. Whether I stick with this platform really depends on keeping our current representative who's been pretty good.

An app that just works

Pros

User friendly app, finding what I need is never a issue. The homepage does a great job of keeping things simple while giving me quick access to all the features and information I need right away. Checking my paystub is also very easy and I can easily submit expenses, request PTO and track my hours. I'm on it constantly throughout the week.

Cons

There isn't really anything that jumps out at me as problematic. The interface is simple and easy to use.

Amazing platform

Pros

The interface is incredibly amazing and I'm impressed by the comprehensive range of features available. Navigation feels simple too and there's pretty much everything you could need built right in.

Cons

Only thing that bothers me is when reps use too much technical jargon during conversations & it can be confusing.

flexible and seamlessly implemented HRIS

Pros

The HRIS system's flexibility really stands out, along with how smooth the implementation went with their specialists. I find it incredibly user-friendly and we use it constantly around here. The integration process was nearly seamless across our entire workforce. Whenever we hit snags or had questions about various features, our implementation team jumped on it immediately and got everything sorted out.

Cons

Submitting expense reports for my supervisors could definitely be smoother. I can do it but the process requires extra information that I don't always have access to. We've figured out a workaround but a more streamlined approach would be much appreciated, especially as our company continues to grow. Simpler processes are always better when you're dealing with expanding teams.

Everything at my fingertips!

Pros

I like how it puts paystubs, upcoming payments, and vacation time requests right at my fingertips. Really aligns the whole payroll process and makes everything much simpler to manage.

Cons

Getting everything set up was easy and whenever I need help, their support team responds quickly and really knows their stuff. I honestly can't think of any major issues I've run into while using it.

very user-friendly for our workers

Pros

I like how user-friendly it is for employees. The app makes it simple for them to check their timecards, request time off, view documents, complete checklists and more. From the HR side once we show them how to find something in the app, they rarely ask again as everything is easy to locate.

Cons

To be honest I don't have any complaints about it. I think it's a great system and very user-friendly.

we had limited control and support wasn't good

Pros

It did what we needed though the features were pretty basic.

Cons

We had limited control over many functions, it was challenging to get support from our Paycom team to complete tasks, setups were often incorrect, the forms were awkward to navigate for data entry and reporting felt hard.

Great support, tricky reports

Pros

Getting started was surprisingly simple and the interface is friendly and there are helpful tutorials whenever I need more guidance. What really stands out though is the amazing support team. Both my client relations rep and specialist are always there when I have questions, taking time to walk me through new features and share useful shortcuts. The whole experience has been really positive.

Cons

Sometimes pulling reports the way I need them can be tricky.

Simple and automated

Pros

I like how simple it is to move around the system and locate paystubs or employee details. The interface makes payroll management much smoother by automating processes that used to take forever.

convenient mobile app!

Pros

The mobile app makes expense reporting incredibly convenient, just snap a photo of your receipt, verify some details and you're done. It also makes timesheet approvals and adjustments really simple. When someone forgets to punch out on Friday and it's an hour before payroll cutoff, you can fix it with time to spare.

Cons

Switching between different company contexts occasionally forces me to completely log out and back in to get things working right. This mainly happened when dealing with contractors who were paid through a separate Paycom setup with different company codes. It's more of an annoyance than a real problem though and the benefits definitely make up for it.

Makes my job easier :)

Pros

Paycom has made managing HR tasks so much simpler for me. My team really appreciates how transparent everything is and it's made my job as an employer way easier to handle.

Cons

I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about this platform. Everything worked exactly as expected with no unexpected issues or surprises along the way.

All records in one place

Pros

Having all our records centralized is fantastic, ACA documentation, EEO-1 reports, OSHA logs, PTO requests, tax credits.

Cons

Now that we've gone paperless, we don't have those delays we used to get when storms in the Midwest or South would hold up our printed checks from OK or TX.

Pros

Excellent built-in flexibility for users

Pros

The platform offers excellent built-in flexibility for user management. I particularly value the ability to set up various user profiles and use the PAF for cleanly tracking system modifications, which makes monitoring changes very straightforward.

Cons

However, the flexibility it offers has its limits. The system does not allow for deeper, company-specific customizations. This means we often find ourselves waiting for our specific needs to be added to the official development roadmap, rather than being able to implement the changes ourselves

Live reporting is fantastic

Pros

Live reporting functionality is fantastic for tracking labor, time and cost allocation. What I really appreciate is how the reporting package gives you granular detail that you can manipulate across multiple departmental levels. We're using it daily to pull various reports and the timekeeping feature has been a huge upgrade for our organization. Customer support has been incredibly helpful throughout the integration process, making everything feel smooth.

Cons

The main challenge is getting used to new processes when you're switching systems. That said, the implementation team has been incredibly supportive throughout the entire transition.
