“Love having everything in one place”
Pros
I love being able to view all my benefits, PTO and hours in one place, and make adjustments for any missed punches.
Cons
There are not really any major drawbacks but the clock-in/out buttons could be more user friendly as they can be confusing at times.

“Fantastic customer service”
Pros
Whenever I need help, I can call and my main contact is always ready to assist. If she is unavailable, someone else on her team steps in right away. In short the customer service is fantastic.
Cons
I am not a fan of Paycom University. When I need to look something up, there is so much information that it takes a while to find the answer. Sometimes I don't have time to read through all the manuals so I end up calling our rep instead.

“Happy with training, enrollment has issues”
Pros
We have been happy to see our employees using Beti and completing their monthly safety training.
Cons
One issue is that we have done open enrollment twice now and both times we ran into issues. The EDI feeds keep getting disrupted.

“Easy for everyone to use”
Pros
The system is easy for both employees and managers to use. I am impressed by how much can be done through the app which encourages more people to use it.
Cons
I wish there were more options for customizing filters in reports. Having the ability to build complex 'and/or logic' would make my reporting more accurate and efficient.

“All-in-one but can be overwhelming”
Pros
Having new hire onboarding, timekeeping and payroll all in one integrated platform makes everything so much easier for us.
Cons
There are so many features that it can be overwhelming for a small nonprofit like ours. I am sure it will get easier with time and thankfully, the support team is excellent as they walk us through whatever we need. The upside is that whatever feature we might want, it's usually available.

“setup is tricky”
Pros
Paycom offers benefits for both employers and employees. Plus I like that employees have to approve their own time and checks in the system.
Cons
Setting up new employee profiles is a bit tricky as we have to remember all the different screens that require information.

“good specialist service, poor product flexibility”
Pros
Our specialist is amazing as Nic always replies promptly and is incredibly helpful.
Cons
We tried a trial run of Beti to see if it would work for us but instead of a controlled test, it was fully implemented into our system. This led to several irreversible changes after we decided not to move forward with Beti. Now we cannot approve salaried timesheets the way we used to which has caused ongoing issues. We were also told that creating an org chart requires Beti which was unexpected and feels inflexible especially since Beti costs $15K a year and is not the right fit for us.

“single platform saves time but could be more centralized”
Pros
Paycom gave us a single, easy-to-navigate platform. The Beti payroll system saves a ton of time and is very user-friendly.
Cons
I really wish there was a homepage to centralize company info, documents and announcements. Some processes also feel clunky and could flow better like the connection between attendance and time tracking or performance management.

“great for self-onboarding”
Pros
I love that new hires can onboard themselves, all documents are stored in Paycom so we can go paperless and I can manage schedules, due documents and training through the app plus approve my checks. In short it's got everything I need.
Cons
There are just minor issues like ACA tracking, which has to be updated in about four different places in a profile. Some things cannot be customized either for example we have PRN positions for RNs but the system only offers full-time, part-time or seasonal options. There are a few small things like that here and there.

“simple access to all my info”
Pros
Paycom gives me simple access to everything I need such as pay stubs, benefits info, documents and more. Also it is secure, well-organized, simple to navigate and always reliable.

“simplifies payroll, hard to edit time”
Pros
I am impressed by how well the different parts of the system communicate with each other. It feels basic and really simplifies payroll.
Cons
Not being able to edit timecards directly can be difficult as we have retired teachers who are not tech-savvy so it takes extra effort to make sure their hours are accurate.

“Not user-friendly and poor service”
Pros
While it is better than doing things manually, I was not a fan of the platform overall. The experience got worse after they removed our dedicated support rep.
Cons
The platform is not very user-friendly, the payroll process feels outdated to me and both the user and admin experiences are lacking. Customer service was also really disappointing.

“complete solution for managers”
Pros
Paycom is a complete solution for all the HR tasks we handle as managers. It brings schedules, time-off requests, payroll, benefits and more together in one app. I find it simple and easy to use, and my team started using it without needing much training.
Cons
Creating documents for employee acknowledgments is a bit clunky but I would say it is manageable.
