“Makes my work easier”

Pros

Using Paycor payroll software has made my work much easier. I no longer have to spend a lot of time processing weekly payroll which really helps me get my job done faster.

Cons

I don't have anything negative to say about Paycor payroll software. It's been awesome to have.

“Love the reporting features”

The reporting features have been the biggest benefit for me personally.

Cons

The scheduling side isn't very user-friendly and setting up custom access can be frustrating.

“Saves me money and time”

Switching to Paycor has brought us both cost savings and time savings. The connection between the Applicant Tracking system which has been fantastic and Onboarding has cut down the time it takes us to find candidates, hire them and get new employees fully set up. Payroll runs much faster now and the time clock integration has made the whole payroll process simpler. The analytics piece is also very strong. Their team has been very supportive overall and we're seeing major savings compared with ADP.

Cons

The only area that has been somewhat challenging is the tax component. Getting a response from that team tends to take quite a while and there isn't a way to reach them directly.

Payroll is faster and takes less effort than it did with our previous payroll provider.

i feel like different parts of the platform don't communicate well with each other and the customer service has been poor.

“Top-tier customer service”

Pros

Right away, the dashboards feel clear and user-friendly which makes day-to-day tasks easier to manage. The option to customize feedback forms and build different themes is also a nice touch. On top of that, their customer service has been consistently helpful.

Cons

Time on Demand setup can feel a bit complicated and limiting in certain situations. Getting to pages I use often sometimes takes more clicks than it should so the site could be laid out more efficiently. The platform is also updated regularly which is important to keep things running but the timing of those updates can occasionally be inconvenient.

“Helpful pay and hours tracker”

Pros

Working at McDonald's, I can log into this site to keep tabs on both my hours and my pay which is really convenient.

Cons

It isn't accurate all the time so you still need to monitor your hours from the time clock yourself and let your manager know if anything looks off.

“PTO tracking made simple”

Pros

Using it makes it simple to keep track of PTO and vacation requests.

Cons

Something I wish were better is how hard it can be to locate past vacation requests.

Switching to it made a huge difference in how we handle payroll. We used to rely on a mostly manual process that would drag on for several days and that's no longer the case. With Paycor, payroll processing is much faster and has completely done away with that long, time-consuming routine.

Cons

Getting support has been frustrating. There isn't a direct contact person to reach out to so everything has to go through the customer service department. On top of that, emails hardly ever get a response which usually leaves calling as the only option.

Using it feels very simple and having my hours and pay all in one place is something I really appreciate.

Pros

Switching from paper onboarding to a digital process with this platform has saved us a lot of time and money. We rely on it for our LMS, onboarding, time and attendance, performance reviews and benefits so it covers a big part of our HR needs really well.

Cons

The reason we don't use their Applicant Tracking System is that it doesn't let us add multiple businesses to the home page with different logos. More customization in that area would definitely make it more useful for us.

“Accurate and simple”

Pros

Everything about it feels accurate and simple to use. It does a really good job of keeping up with payroll, timesheets, clock-ins and clock-outs. I'd definitely recommend it.

Cons

My biggest frustration is the speed. Even with fast internet, the program still runs too slowly which makes that high-speed connection feel pointless.

Pros

Keeping track of my hours and the number of days I worked each week was the part I appreciated most about this software. It also made things dependable since my paycheck was always direct deposited on time.

Cons

Honestly, there wasn't really anything I disliked about the software.

To be honest, there really isn't a particular feature that stands out to me because I don't care much for any of them. I actually prefer the old-school way of just taking a check to the bank and cashing it but that way of doing things is pretty much gone now.

Keeping track of my password has been frustrating especially since this new job uses a different kind of payroll app for paychecks.

“Beginner-friendly system”

Pros

Right from the start, it feels very user-friendly. Running payroll is simple, keeping track of employees is simple and it's especially approachable if you're new to this kind of software.

Cons

At the same time, it feels a bit too basic for the price. For what it costs, I expected more features or something that would make it stand out compared to other payroll software on the market.

It has been really convenient because it's simple to navigate and it takes a lot of the hassle out of payroll, W-2s and managing time-off scheduling.

Cons

Something I'd still want improved is the time entry process, it could be more smooth since having to enter everything manually feels unnecessary.

“easy to get comfortable with”

Pros

From the first login, it didn't take much to get comfortable with this product. After using a few of the online help prompts, I was able to submit, track and print my husband's payroll and benefits documents without any trouble. I also worked with it during a temporary HR assignment for a couple of months and it was just as simple when setting up new employees in the system.

Cons

I can't think of any downsides to this software based on the two ways I used it.

Pros

Keeping up with my time is really simple with this and the reminders are especially helpful for tasks I might otherwise forget to complete.

Cons

I'm only using the trial at the moment so I haven't run into any downsides yet. Everything seems to be working really well so far.

“Wonderful experience of 2 years”

Pros

After two years with it at my company, it has been really useful from an employee side. I can pull up my paychecks anytime, day or night which makes it much easier to stay on top of my personal budgeting. It's also helpful that my W-2 forms from the past few years are stored there since that comes in handy whenever tax questions come up. We use Paycor to manage PTO as well so if I need to request time off, I just sign in, choose the dates and wait for the approval or rejection notification.

Cons

On my iPhone, the app can be pretty slow when logging in. Every now and then it also logs me out unexpectedly which means I have to reopen it and start over.
