Simplifying HR and payroll

Pros

I really like that all the payroll and HR functions are integrated into one platform. It makes things so much smoother with benefits data automatically flowing into payroll and out to our vendors.

Cons

Their customer support definitely needs some work. Response times are slow and it usually takes multiple follow-ups to get a case fully resolved.

Efficient solution

Pros

The timekeeping functions are really interactive and easy to use even if you've never used the software before. The app is awesome too!

Cons

Reporting isn't as flexible as I'd like it to be. Also, sometimes the support isn't knowledgeable and it takes several attempts to get the answers I need.

Perfect for small business payroll management

Pros

It's pretty simple to input and manage time for hourly employees, easy peasy.

Cons

It seems like feature implementation is slow and customer service isn't very responsive to our needs.

Paycor's TAM team is amazing!

Pros

We love how easy the menu navigation is, the level of expertise from the TAM team and how workflows help eliminate all the manual work.

Cons

I wasn't expecting this from customer service. The delays in resolving issues are really frustrating.

Easy setup

Pros

It is a smooth with Paycor and they handle all the heavy lifting. I absolutely love not having to deal with submitting payroll taxes.

Cons

Navigating Paycor after a layout change can be a challenge. Plus, I have to manually change each new hire to the correct time zone which is a simple task but seems like something that could be fixed on the back end.

Streamline my tasks

Pros

The look and ease of use are great and the mobile app makes it easy for our employees to access pay stubs, time off requests, timesheet approval and company updates.

Cons

The benefit enrollment and reporting features could use some improvement. BSwift is a solid platform but we always have errors in our enrollment each year that need correcting throughout the year.

Paycor is the best

Pros

It's made managing all employee payroll and assets from one platform so simple and easy.

Cons

Honestly, I haven't found anything to dislike about this tool. It handles everything a business needs to manage employee pay and that's pretty great.

Poor service

Pros

It offers a really complete set of programs. The onboarding and ATS features work the best for us.

Cons

Support is terrible. The implementation process is tough and they don't take the time to understand your business or processes. They have a lot of functionality but it doesn't always work well together, and some features even contradict each other.

Good tool overall

Pros

I really like the one-on-one sessions. They were super helpful for getting hands-on guidance with our account.

Cons

Some of the sessions felt more like a sales pitch. Others didn't really go in-depth on Paycor itself.

Paycor functions well

Pros

It definitely helps me make sure I can pay my employees on time. It feels like It's constantly improving and adapting to make things better.

Cons

The report builder can be difficult to use and if you have issues, it can be hard to get them resolved.

Complete solution

Pros

I think the platform is a solid all-in-one solution with single sign-on for both admins and employees. Payroll and onboarding run smoothly without any issues.

Cons

We've had several issues with the benefits integration. The build for open enrollment each year is wrong, causing delays that affect everything.

How I found Paycor

Pros

Overall, It's great and the features are really effective. The payroll side of things works especially well!

Cons

Sometimes, things get updates that aren't really that great. They also have features that need updating but they just don't get them.

Pros

The app is really easy for employees to use. They can check their paychecks, W-2s, enroll in benefits and request time off. The payroll and benefits admin processes are also simple.

Cons

The report builder is missing payroll data or templates. It's not as easy to use as the custom reports.

I would highly recommend it!

Pros

Amazing! We've been with Paycor for over 7 years and we use several of their platforms. I would highly recommend it and it's easy to use and our employees love it. They're on Paycor all the time.

Cons

Chat support used to be good. When we first signed up, we had a designated support person.

Doesn't fit well for higher education

Pros

There are too many workarounds. We have to create a lot of paper forms because we can't create workflows within Paycor which is kind of a problem.

Cons

It's not great for handling the odd types of pay that exist in higher ed.

Perfect for handling payroll

Pros

I use It for HR management and payroll needs. It allows me to create our own payroll system and once everything's set up, it runs on autopilot, avoiding payroll errors.

Cons

I contacted them several times via email and they never responded. I calledcbut they didn't offer any useful support.

Easy for beginners

Pros

I love the website and how easy it is to manage HR and payroll data. I also like that when HR makes changes, it automatically flows into payroll.

Cons

It's been a learning process with trial and error. We definitely need more guided directions on reporting, workflows and early payroll deposits.
