“Simple navigation with handy HR access”
Pros
Using Rippling is very easy on both the app and the website. The layout is clear, navigation is not a hassle and it's quick to locate any HR documents I need, whether that's tax forms, employee handbooks, offer letters or other important paperwork.
Cons
The thing that could be better is the inconsistency between the benefits pages on the website and the app. For example, I am able to get to the HSA account on the website but that option doesn't seem to be available in the app.

“Clean interface with handy paystubs”
Pros
Rippling has a clean interface that made the onboarding process really simple for me. It's also very convenient for accessing my pay stubs.
Cons
One issue I have run into is the occasional technical glitch. A few times, bugs made it difficult to access the app.

“A complete disaster to avoid”
Pros
Honestly there was nothing good about it at all as it looks like the worst tool ever made. Do yourself a favor and look at literally anything other than Rippling.
Cons
From start to finish, it was incredibly problematic and basically useless. The system is built in such a strange, illogical way that it creates issues you wouldn't even expect and nearly everything falls apart the moment you try to use it. Workforce planning was passable but beyond that, the rest of the platform was terrible. We also ran into a lot of payroll errors that we're still auditing and fixing those mistakes has taken countless hours and cost us a lot of money. It was supposed to improve IT, automation and provisioning too but those parts didn't work either. Even the setup process was difficult and that's coming from someone who wasn't even directly involved in it.

“Organized time-off with clear payroll”
Pros
Compared with ADP it is pretty easy to get around overall. I also really like how neatly it keeps my time-off requests organized since I can quickly view both past and current requests and also check my remaining balance without any hassle. It's also been very useful for tracking my current paychecks and I like that past paystubs are stored there as well.
Cons
The thing that gets frustrating is trying to locate the home button after jumping between different sections. When I move from HSA to payroll and then over to time-off requests, I sometimes completely lose track of how to get back. At that point, it can honestly feel faster to just close the browser and sign in again rather than keep searching for the home screen. Another annoyance is how often the system sends reminder emails. When performance reviews are due or it's time to complete annual HSA and health benefit elections, the repeated emails come multiple times a day until it's done. A reminder is helpful but that frequency is excessive. I also don't need automatic emails twice a month just to tell me I got paid and those constant notifications end up cluttering my inbox.

“Helpful support with stronger workflows”
Pros
Rippling has been a valuable platform for my management team when it comes to hiring the right people for our team. The last time I spoke with customer support, they helped me better understand how simple the software is to use. It has also brought more value to our HR, IT and Finance teams by helping us get better returns on the money we put into the business. Over the past few months, it has supported employee payroll well and also allowed me to customize many of our internal work processes. Up to this point, we have dealt with very few bugs or minor issues in our day to day use.
Cons
One challenge with the website and software is that we usually have to teach new team members everything from the beginning since the system is not very familiar to most users. That part can be quite demanding for us.

“Everything works together beautifully”
Pros
Everything being connected is what really won me over. When a new employee joins, their details automatically carry over into payroll, benefits enrollment, PTO tracking and even device setup for remote staff. Updates like a promotion or address change flow through the system on their own so there's no duplicate entry and far fewer mistakes.
Cons
There are occasional minor bugs when new features roll out, like a brief issue we had with HSA contributions during one pay cycle, though it was resolved quickly. Pricing also isn't very clear upfront so you pretty much need to go through a demo to get the full quote.

“Reliable core APIs”
Pros
Coming at it from an engineering angle, the core APIs are dependable and thoughtfully organized. They're reliable, fairly easy to use and make it practical to connect Rippling with internal systems without a lot of hassle. The webhooks and access to core data like employee and payroll information are particularly valuable. For a platform covering HR, payroll and IT, the API coverage is strong in the areas that matter most.
Cons
That said some APIs tied to extensions and marketplace apps don't feel as complete or as consistent as the core set. In a few places, functionality is available in the UI but isn't cleanly exposed through the API which can get in the way of automation. The documentation also leaves room for improvement in certain spots especially when dealing with edge cases.

“A complete portal experience”
Pros
Having everything built into the Rippling portal has been a big plus. Every app I use and every process I need to complete can be handled and finished right inside Rippling.
Cons
It's been a really positive experience overall and I have very few complaints. The only issue I have run into is that even after going through the single sign-on process, the app still sometimes asks me to log in again.

“Peace of mind with reliable payroll”
Pros
Rippling Payroll has been a huge help because it keeps the entire payroll process dependable, accurate and simple. Plus it removes the usual stress of tracking hours, figuring out taxes and making sure pay arrives on time which gives me real peace of mind and allows me to stay focused on my work. The platform is user friendly and consistent and it has honestly made my day to day job much easier.
Cons
One part that seems less professional is that some payroll details like edited time entries, certain reporting specifics or deduction changes can be a little confusing or not very user friendly especially when I need to make quick updates. Clearer guidance and better visibility for those edge-case adjustments would make the experience feel even more better.

“HR and payroll done right”
Pros
It really stands out for bringing HR, payroll and IT together in one place. The platform seems user friendly, the automation cuts down on manual work and it saves a lot of time by making employee onboarding and overall management much more efficient.
Cons
A few parts can seem a bit complicated at the beginning and some reports or customizations take a while to understand. The pricing can also climb depending on which modules you decide to use.

“All our HR needs in one hub”
Pros
Having everything work-related in one place has been a huge upgrade. Instead of jumping between different tools, I can handle time, expenses, payroll and other work questions from a single hub. Compared with other HR platforms I have used at previous companies, Rippling is the one I'd choose every time. Definitely highly recommended.
Cons
From time to time, I do run into bugs that mean I need to reach out to support, though it's usually with more complex cases, like deferring reports to another manager while someone is on leave.

“Instant alerts for deposits”
Pros
Rippling is very user friendly and I really appreciate getting notified the moment my deposit comes in. It takes away any guesswork about when the money is actually available.
Cons

“Clean UI with handy leave management”
Pros
From both sides of the platform it works really well as it is simple to manage as an admin and just as easy to use as an employee. The UI looks good, seems interactive and I have run into very few bugs which is saying a lot because I usually notice them quickly. I use the leave management feature the most and it's easily my favorite part.
Cons
The login flow is the part I enjoy the least. It takes too long and there's too much verification required just to submit a work-from-home request. That may be more of an admin setup issue but either way, I am not a fan of that level of security.

“powerful and user friendly platform”
Pros
Using it has been a genuinely positive experience. It's not often you come across a platform that seems this powerful while still being so user friendly. Everything works well, reliably and without adding unnecessary complexity. In short it makes managing people and processes feel almost effortless which is something I really value.
Cons
That said it does have a downside. Because the platform covers so much, it can feel a bit complex at times especially for smaller teams that may not need the full range of features.

“Top-notch support with global payouts”
Pros
Being able to send and receive international payments has been the standout feature for me. Withdrawals are very easy for international contractors, the UX is simple and user friendly and the support team has been top notch.
Cons
There wasn't anything major to complain about but they did have a rule that you couldn't keep a USD balance for more than 30 days. From what I understand, that seems to be changing now with the latest update in February 2026.

“HR and IT combined perfectly”
Pros
Rippling's biggest advantage is having so many HR and IT tasks in one place. It saves a lot of time since onboarding, payroll, device management and app access are all connected so there's much less manual work. The interface is also simple to follow and most tasks only take a few clicks.
Cons
Some areas can feel a bit confusing when setting up more advanced workflows and it takes extra time to learn where everything is. A few reports are slower to load and the system can sometimes feel sluggish during peak hours. Support is helpful but response times can be a little slow.
