consolidated our entire HR tasks

Pros

We used to juggle nine different HR tools across the company and it helped us cut that down to four. There's also room to consolidate even more if we decide to adopt more of their apps which is a big plus.

Cons

The implementation process involved working with several different people and the communication between them wasn't always as coordinated as it should have been.

simple rollout with great adoption

Pros

The interface is very user friendly so people across every level of the organization were able to use it without any trouble. Rolling out a new system can be intimidating for both staff and administrators but in our case the launch went really well and we didn't run into any issues.

Cons

This is more about how we introduced it internally than a problem with the platform itself so we chose to roll out features gradually instead of launching everything at once.

Boosts workflow efficiency

Pros

Having HR, payroll, benefits and IT management all in one platform has been the biggest advantage of using Rippling. The system is organized well and automates a lot of repetitive work which saves a lot of time on tasks like onboarding, running payroll and managing employee records. The interface is clean and user friendly and keeping all employee information in one place makes daily operations much more efficient and accurate.

Cons

A downside is that some of the more advanced features can be a little complicated at the beginning and take time to really learn. On top of that certain customizations and reports are not especially user friendly and support can sometimes be slower than expected when the issue is more specific or technical.

Clear layout with reliable performance

Pros

The platform seems very user friendly. The layout is clean, the navigation makes sense and logging or checking time only takes a moment. It helps me save time, cut down on mistakes and handle everyday tasks more efficiently. I also value how dependable it is since it usually runs consistently well without interruptions.

Cons

One thing that stands out on the downside is that certain parts of the system can be slow or uneven especially when usage is high. Moving between areas like time entries, approvals and reports sometimes takes longer than it should which breaks up the workflow. There are also times when some features do not load correctly on the first try so I have to refresh the page or click more than once. On top of that a few functions could be more user friendly. Editing older entries or finding past records can take extra steps or be labeled in a way that is not very clear which makes things confusing. These issues do not stop me from getting my work done but they do create small inefficiencies that build up over time. Better responsiveness, simpler navigation and more user friendly access to key features would make the overall experience much better.

user friendly app across all devices

Pros

Using Rippling on both my phone and laptop has been really convenient. The app is very simple to navigate, user friendly and does a really good job of keeping communication clear.

Cons

The thing that seems missing is an AI copilot feature to help search within the app. It would be really helpful to type in what I need and have the relevant links show up right below.

Remote onboarding made really simple

Pros

Starting a new role remotely, Rippling was my first introduction to the company's systems and it was very easy to get set up and find my way around without needing any help from an administrator.

Cons

Nothing specific stands out as a downside right now. Since I am still fairly new to the company, my time using the platform has been limited but my overall impression has been very positive.

user friendly payroll workflow

Pros

Using Rippling has been a big help for payroll. The platform is very user friendly and my employees can handle their own corrections and time adjustments which saves me a lot of time when payroll comes around. I am also able to catch time card errors right away and fix them during the week instead of waiting until the end of the pay period.

Cons

My only complaint right now is the number of emails new hires receive during onboarding.

A winning payroll solution

Pros

At Designli it has been a fantastic all in one platform for managing our team. The interface is simple to work with and it gives really useful insights. My payments always arrive on time, payroll is easy to handle and any time I have run into an issue, customer support has been quick to help. It has definitely been worth the cost.

Cons

I honestly don't have any complaints from my regular use. Like I mentioned, it offers a lot of helpful insights for everyone on the team.

Payroll and employee tools that shine

Pros

Using this as an employee the biggest advantages were how simple payroll was and how well the employee management features worked.

Cons

One frustrating part was the time clock timezone setup. When I entered time for time-off requests, it required central time even though I was located on the East Coast.

Quick and easy hour tracking

Pros

Entering my hours is very easy now and the staff will even send me a reminder if I forget to submit them at the end of the month.

Cons

Every now and then it glitches and won't let me enter my hours right away. When that happens, I have to come back later and double-check that everything went through correctly.

Strong modules with great reporting

Pros

Rippling works across platforms and comes with a wide range of modules and integrations which makes it really versatile. It also offers plenty of options for reporting and tracking so there's a lot of flexibility when managing and monitoring things.

Cons

One downside is that they seem to have a hard time taking suggestions on how to improve the platform although I believe that will likely get addressed over time.

A unified HR and onboarding powerhouse

Pros

It cuts out duplicate data entry and much of the reconciliation work we used to deal with. Onboarding and offboarding automation is especially strong as role‑based workflows help new hires start on day one and access is removed immediately when someone leaves. Also it saved a lot of time across HR, finance and IT by reducing manual coordination, making it much easier for lean teams to scale. The interface is clean and user friendly for both admins and employees so training needs and support tickets have gone down. Automated payroll, tax filings and document tracking provide great compliance support and take away a lot of administrative stress. It also scales well as headcount grows, without forcing a full rebuild of internal processes.

Cons

There are still some limitations when it comes to edge cases. If your company has highly customized HR policies, union requirements or unusual workflows, you may end up relying on workarounds. Global payroll is getting better but for complicated multi-country payroll needs, it is not as strong as platforms built specifically for that purpose. Pricing can also climb pretty fast as your team expands and you add more modules especially compared with using separate point solutions. Because the platform covers so much, the initial setup takes careful planning to avoid workflow misconfigurations. Reporting is also good for standard needs but if you need very detailed custom analytics, you may have to export the data and work outside the platform.

Access that works every time

Pros

Having everything in one place has been a big plus. The platform is user friendly and works well overall and I especially appreciate being able to pull up important documents and payroll details on my own without having to ask someone else for help.

Cons

Where it falls short is in the depth and complexity of some areas especially since there is not much documentation readily available within the site itself. You can find some answers by searching online but there is not a lot of guidance built directly into the platform.

Excellent integrations with self-service wins

Pros

One thing that really worked well was the integration ecosystem. It integrates everything well which made a big difference for us. Once we got past the setup stage, the interface is user friendly and was fairly easy to work with. The pricing also felt reasonable for the amount of functionality included. Another big plus was employee self-service which helped cut down quite a bit of our admin workload.

Cons

It is not easy to use and the setup process was not very simple too. A major limitation is that it cannot onboard employees in foreign headquarters or subsidiaries so the support is really geared toward US only companies rather than full international subsidiary structures. We also ran into quality control issues when the IRS rejected one of our forms because the digital signature was flagged as inauthentic which meant we had to redo it with a physical pen signature. Even though it's a mature platform, it still wasn't completely error-free.

Helpful visibility into org charts

Pros

Working at a remote company, the Org Chart feature has been especially useful. It makes it much clearer to see who reports to whom and helps me understand the reporting managers across the organization.

Cons

Honestly I have been happy with all of its features and there isn't really anything I like least. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add a refer-a-candidate option.

All in one and user friendly

Pros

A powerful platform for scaling

It has a lot of depth. It covers so much that it works really well for a growing company. I can now group employees based on who should have access to what and it also means I don't have to rely on multiple vendors for different needs.

HR and payroll done right

Pros

Rippling stands out by bringing HR, payroll and IT into one unified platform that's simple to navigate. Automation is one of its biggest strengths as onboarding, offboarding, payroll setup and app provisioning all happen with very little manual effort. The interface is clean and user friendly so employees can take care of self-service tasks like PTO, expenses and personal info updates without much trouble. Integrations with Google Workspace, Slack, Okta and accounting tools work well and cut down on duplicate data entry. Reporting is another strong point, with real-time visibility into headcount, costs and compliance. Overall it saves a lot of time, reduces admin mistakes and makes the entire employee lifecycle much easier to manage.

Cons

One area that could be clearer is the separation between company employees and contractors. Also some of the deeper features that aren't used very often can take time to locate although that's somewhat understandable given how many functions the platform includes.

easy setup with clear menus

Pros

The platform is very easy to use. I didn't need any training because everything felt self-explanatory and the drop-down menus are clear and easy to understand.
