Handy payroll and leave tools

Pros

Accessing payroll details and salary slips is very convenient. Reaching the IT team through the platform is easy and applying for leave is quick and hassle free.

Cons

One thing that could be improved is the visual design. Right now it mainly uses yellow and black and it would feel much more eye-catching and engaging with a wider range of vibrant colors.

HR and IT done right

Pros

Having HR, payroll and IT all in one platform was a huge plus. Onboarding felt smooth as getting a new hire set up with payroll, benefits and even devices only took a few minutes.

Cons

The integrations are strong overall but setting up some third-party apps wasn't always as smooth as I expected. A few extra troubleshooting tools or more proactive alerts would make the experience even better.

Benefits tracking in one location

Pros

Keeping tabs on my health benefits and FSA account has been really convenient. Everything is accessible in one place so I can quickly check what I need without any hassle.

Cons

One thing that gets frustrating is how often the platform seems to need updates. It seems like there's a new update or something that needs updating almost every week.

user friendly setup with easy navigation

Pros

it feels very user friendly and our company recently switched over to this platform. Every tab is easy to access and the layout is visually simple to move around.

Cons

Nothing really comes to mind. I have genuinely been enjoying it and at this point I can say it's better than the old system.

Payroll and onboarding in one place

Pros

Having payroll and onboarding together in Rippling has been a big help for us. Plus it cuts down a lot of extra time and unnecessary clicking which makes day to day tasks much more manageable. The interface is also clean and user friendly so it doesn't look messy or confusing the way some other platforms do.

Cons

Every now and then, certain settings take longer to track down because they aren't always located where you'd expect them to be. There were also a few occasions when the system loaded a bit slowly. I also feel the support team could be a little quicker with their responses.

A reliable HR and payroll hub

Pros

Handling all my HR tasks with Rippling has been really easy. We rely on it as the central source of truth for all employer information and day to day operations, including payroll, time-off tracking, IT device management and employee records across the company. Payments consistently go out on time and the payslips are clear enough that I can easily share them with my accountant. Whenever I have run into bugs, the support team has responded quickly and overall my experience has been very positive.

Cons

One area I'd really like to see improved is the taxes section of the app because it can be confusing to tell exactly what has already been paid and for what reason. Having a clearer breakdown of the amounts along with simpler explanations would make a huge difference.

quite a user friendly platform

Pros

Using it day to day seems very practical and the platform is easy to work with. The interface is user friendly, moving between the different modules is also not a hassle and having HR and IT tasks centralized in one place saves a lot of time.

Cons

Getting everything up and running at the beginning was more involved than I expected. I had to go through several steps in different parts of the platform to make sure the setup was completed correctly. Filling out my profile, submitting tax forms, linking direct deposit and confirming employment details all took quite a bit of time. I also needed to check in with support to verify that everything was properly set. It definitely wasn't a simple process and I had to stay very proactive to prevent delays. I did end up receiving my first paycheck in the end but it took a lot of effort and careful attention on my side.

Great for employee learning

Pros

Adding new training courses for employees is really useful which makes it a strong option for learning management.

Cons

Helpful payroll support

Pros

It has proven to be a really amazing payroll platform for us. The direct deposit setup makes it simple to have my monthly pay sent straight to my bank account which I like. Their customer support has also been very helpful whenever there are issues especially with things like incorrect payments or benefit calculation concerns.

Cons

One thing that gets frustrating is how quickly the session times out. If I leave it idle for less than 20 minutes, the system logs me out and I have to sign in again. That part is definitely annoying.

Calendar sync works great

Pros

Rippling packs in a lot of standout features but the Time and Attendance section is the one I use and appreciate the most. My favorite part is the calendar sync option. It lets you connect your company schedule and event calendars with your personal calendars from other platforms which is incredibly convenient since I rely on digital calendars all the time. On top of that you can turn on event notifications from those calendars so it's really hard to miss anything important.

Cons

Honestly picking something I like least is difficult because I have really come to enjoy using it. If I had to mention one thing, I'd say I wish there were more options for personal goal-setting and tracking especially tools that would let you look back and clearly see your growth and progress over time.

A complete HR platform

Pros

Everything seems very user friendly when handling HR tasks and having payroll, benefits and time tracking all in one centralized platform makes day to day work much more convenient. The integrations with third-party tools also connect well which helps everything run together without extra hassle.

Cons

One thing that gets frustrating is the short session timeout. Being logged out frequently can interrupt the workflow and force repeated sign-ins which cuts into efficiency when using it regularly.

Payroll and benefits done correctly

Pros

Setting up time-off has been easy and the benefits section is simple to move through. I have also really enjoyed the payroll layout and we used the employee reviews feature without any trouble since it was very user friendly.

Cons

One issue I have noticed is that the auto-save progress feature doesn't always work consistently. It would also help if the employee time-off calendar were easier to access while submitting my own request. On top of that notifications can be easy to miss or sometimes take a bit too long to appear.

Everything in one place

Pros

Having everything in one place is something I really appreciate and the platform is very simple to use. As an employee, it makes it really convenient to find what I need and move around the system without any hassle.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any complaints about it. We use it for payroll, PTO scheduling, performance reviews, accessing HSAs, compensation details and probably even more features I haven't explored yet that are already available in there.

user friendly app access

Pros

Having an app available in the App Store is really convenient and it's simple to navigate and access. The whole thing feels very user friendly.

Cons

A powerful HRIS with app network

Pros

I like that the app network is built in as it is a big plus and the way the technology management suite ties into the HRIS is really well done. It's especially valuable to handle single sign-on and password management without paying anything extra.

Cons

The UX could definitely use a refresh so it seems more modern. The heavy IT-style color scheme makes the platform come across as a little dated.

Pros

Having payroll, benefits and time off all in one place made things really convenient. The interface seems modern and easy to use and I didn't have to go through a bunch of unnecessary steps to get things done.

Cons

Helpful setup with organised workflows

Pros

Right away this application helped bring our team's processes together and made our data much more organized. The platform was user friendly and it was simple to navigate through the features available to us. During the integration period, the support team was excellent and gave our team the help we needed to get everything set up and running.

Cons

A few minor issues came up, like occasional glitches during busy business hours and trouble downloading larger reports. We were only using the free trial because the pricing was beyond our budget so that's definitely something to keep in mind. We also ran into some internal challenges during integration but the support team stayed patient and continued to be very helpful throughout.

Modern HRIS

Pros

Rippling is like a professional, forward-thinking HRIS that keeps getting better. Their team regularly rolls out updates that clearly reflect real user feedback and actual UI needs which makes the platform feel current and well considered.

Cons

There are a few system limitations that have changed how we used to manage Benefits but I wouldn't call them major shortcomings. The constraints we've run into have mostly pushed us to think differently and find new ways to make the system work for us.

amazing payroll tool

Pros

The part that amazes me most is how well organized everything is. Being able to set up profiles and teams in such a structured way has been incredibly useful and I even rely on it for payroll and bonuses. Honestly having a product that handles all of that so well feels like a real gift.

Cons

One thing I'd want improved is how long updates take to appear. At times when payroll or promotions are involved and someone gets moved to a different team, the change can take a little while to show up. It's not anything too serious and I can work around the timing but faster updates would definitely help.
