“A complete employee info hub”
Pros
Everything across the organization is quick to pull up and doesn't take much effort. With a single click, you can view all the key details, including direct reports, signed documents and important dates.
Cons
There are times when getting into the platform is frustrating because the two-factor authentication can glitch. On top of that the extra options and layered navigation can feel a little complicated or confusing.

“Convenient HR all in one spot”
Pros
Having everything in one place has been a huge plus such as benefits, time off, payroll, learning management and courses, plus the organizational chart are all combined in a single system. At other jobs, I have had to jump between several different tools just to find this same information.
Cons
There was one issue when I tried to request time off but it seemed like a one-time situation and probably won't be something every user runs into.

“Clarity and support all in one”
Pros
With Rippling we manage finance, payroll, HR and more all in the same place. The layout is clear and user friendly so day to day navigation seems hassle free and saves us a lot of time. Even new hires only need a brief onboarding before they're comfortable using it. On top of that Rippling has been very reliable in our experience. The information feels well protected, with strong encryption and security and overall it gives the impression of being a platform that truly supports us and cares about our company's growth.
Cons
Basic tasks are very simple to work through but once you get into more advanced reports or complex workflows, it can take a bit more effort to figure out what to do and how to set everything up. Another downside is the organizational tab, where the user experience could be better. Scrolling there can be difficult and it sometimes seems a little glitchy.

“A great switch for payroll”
Pros
After our team switched to Rippling from a different payslip service, the improvement was obvious right away. The platform is very easy to navigate and it's simple to find exactly what you need. It feels user friendly overall and the notifications are really helpful too.
Cons
There really aren't many downsides to it, other than the color scheme. The yellow and brown combination just doesn't look that good.

“All HR and payroll together”
Pros
Having HR and payroll in one place has been really helpful. We use it every day for things like leave approvals and the process in Rippling is easy and simple to handle.
Cons
Nothing to complain about so far. Every feature I have used until now has worked well and is easy to locate in the app. We've been using it since October 2024.

“Decent HR but scheduling is broken”
Pros
The standard HR functions are decent enough such as onboarding, payroll, PTO tracking and the usual basics all do their job. I wouldn't say it outperforms other platforms but for those core features, it works fine.
Cons
Where things really fall apart is scheduling. It seems poorly thought out, buggy, inconsistent and unreliable to the point that I honestly feel more like a beta tester than a customer. We run a grocery store with 50 employees spread across several specialized departments so these issues hit us hard. For example, on one screen an employee shows as requesting 7 days off and in another view that same request shows 8 days. Which one am I supposed to trust? I also recently realized that if someone has an approved vacation or sick day, the system still leaves them on the schedule. There isn't even a warning or visual indicator showing that they're both assigned a shift and marked off at the same time. That's a pretty serious flaw for a scheduling tool. I also turned on alerts to catch when people are off from their schedules but there's no option to set any kind of threshold. As a result I get notifications for something as tiny as an employee clocking in at 10:29:46 when their shift starts at 10:30. It's absurd. On top of that there's no built-in way to communicate through the app and to make it even more frustrating, you cannot print schedules from the department view so I am stuck taking screenshots.

“Saves time in one place”
Pros
Having everything connected in a single platform is what I appreciated most about Rippling. Onboarding, payroll, device management and app management are all handled in one place which saves a lot of time for everyone and helps cut down on manual mistakes.
Cons
The part I liked least was the learning curve at the beginning. Since it includes so many features, it took some time to really understand how to use everything and get the most out of it. Once that clicks though, the platform works very well and turns into a major asset.

“A powerful workforce management platform”
Pros
After about two years of using Rippling, it's been a fantastic experience overall. It's a very powerful workforce management platform and it has been especially helpful for managing time off and payroll. It's also become a valuable tool for reviewing work performance, along with handling IT and other areas like HR, Finance and related services.
Cons
I honestly haven't come across any real dislikes or drawbacks with this vendor. After using it for around two years, everything has looked good to me.

“an amazing HR hub”
Pros
Having HR, payroll, benefits and onboarding all handled in one place makes Rippling really convenient to use. The platform is user friendly and the automation saves a lot of time especially when bringing on new employees making benefits changes or handling terminations. It also integrates really well with other tools we rely on, like Slack and Google Workspace. The dashboards look clean and the guided step-by-step workflows make more complex tasks feel much more manageable.
Cons
Even with all of its strengths there are still a few areas where it could be better. Such as reporting seems somewhat limited and not as customizable as I'd want, particularly when I need to pull more niche data across different modules.

“a simple workforce platform”
Pros
Our team has been using Rippling to manage our workforce and it has been an excellent experience overall. The platform seems very user friendly and getting around the system is easy.
Cons
There are still a few limitations especially when it comes to customization in some areas. Admin setup can also take time because the learning curve is fairly steep and customer support could be more responsive.

Pros
Using Rippling has been really easy and the interface looks professional and visually appealing. Moving over from another company was simple because both the website and the app are set up in a very user friendly manner.

“Powerful payroll with smooth onboarding”
Pros
From onboarding to day to day use, Rippling is very user friendly and professional. The onboarding process is also smooth, the payroll setup can handle complex structures really well and the IT management tools are a big plus. It's especially a strong fit for fast-growing companies that need everything organized in one place.
Cons
That said it's not as practical for smaller companies since the cost may not feel justified for them. A few of the more advanced features can also take some training to fully understand and at times the admin side seems a bit complex.

“Clean dashboard”
Pros
Managing employee information in Rippling is easy. The dashboard has a clean layout and moving between areas like personal details, documents and payroll is also not a hassle. I mostly use it to check my employment records and time off and everything is arranged in a really organized way.
Cons
One thing that would make the employee dashboard better is having a more visual layout, like a simple chart or timeline showing key updates such as onboarding steps, role changes or pay adjustments.

“Centralized onboarding that works”
Pros
Having one centralized dashboard for single sign-on, access management, HR and payroll makes everything much more convenient. The automation around employee onboarding and offboarding saves a lot of time and cuts down on all the back-and-forth manual emails between teams like HR, Payroll and IT.
Cons
The pricing is built around custom quotes for different modules so it seems less transparent and can make the decision process take longer.

“Powerful HR support at scale”
Pros
Over the last five years, as our company expanded from 125 to almost 550 employees, Rippling has been a huge time-saver for our small HR team. It handles everything from reports and workflows to fast onboarding and offboarding, LMS, compliance and all the other day to day tasks in between. Because of that, we've been able to stay efficient and spend more time supporting employees where it really counts.
Cons
At times in the past, it seemed like the company was putting more attention on rolling out new features than refining the core product.
