A complete HR and IT hub

Pros

Having everything in one place is a huge plus. It serves as a single source for HR tasks like onboarding, payroll, benefits, time and attendance and performance management, while also covering IT needs such as device management, app provisioning and security, plus finance. The dashboard is also really helpful and makes it easier to keep track of everything.

Cons

One thing I'd still love to see is a more capable mobile app with all the same features as the desktop version. There are times when I still have to switch over to desktop to get certain things done.

Reliable support with lower costs

Pros

Customer support has been excellent, the web platform is easy to use and there are plenty of withdrawal options available. The pricing is also more competitive than a lot of other solutions on the market.

Cons

The mobile app still needs some improvement since it has a few noticeable bugs and doesn't offer all of the functionality that's available on the web platform.

Quick and easy leave requests

Pros

Using Rippling to submit time off and leave requests has been really easy. It only takes a quick tap of a button so the whole process feels very simple to use.

Cons

Up to this point, I haven't run into any problems with it especially since my company only recently switched over. If anything comes up later, I'd be open to sharing another review.

Helpful guidance with clear communication

Pros

Its user manual is excellent, the platform is very good to use and the communication process works really well. Getting assistance is simple, the referral process is helpful and the guidance provided is very good overall.

Cons

Accessing it is simple, communication is excellent and everything seems user friendly with the right path in place. The people involved are good to work with, it's easy to access and the system is easy to understand.

user friendly UI across all devices

Pros

The clean, user friendly interface makes it really simple to get around both the website and the mobile app. Because of that, I keep coming back to Rippling and enjoy using it.

Cons

One thing that's missing is the option to sign digital documents using a physical digital signature. Having that feature available would make the document-signing process much more convenient.

A complete team hub

Pros

Having everything in one place is what I appreciate most about Rippling. I can quickly look up anyone in the organization and see their role, manager, direct reports and other helpful details. If I am not sure who the right person is to contact, Rippling usually points me in the right direction. It's also nice being able to keep up with birthdays and work anniversaries, post updates and important news in the feed and stay aware of new hires so they can be welcomed properly. On top of that payroll and leave details are stored there too. It really feels like a platform that covers just about everything a company needs.

Cons

Now and then some tabs take longer than expected to load especially the organization chart. I am not sure whether that's because there's so much data in the system since I work at a large company or if it's just something that still needs improvement. Either way, it can be frustrating when I am trying to quickly pull up org chart details and have to wait.

HR and IT boosted together

Pros

We use Rippling for a range of tasks, from employee onboarding to setting up devices and IT assets and it helps keep everything centralized. The interface is user friendly for both admins and employees and the dashboard makes it simple to reach available features through the app layout while giving a clear view of tasks, timelines and tools. The automation is another strong point especially for payroll and device provisioning which saves a lot of manual effort. We've also connected Rippling with Slack and that integration has made day to day workflows even more convenient. The mobile app is also very useful since it lets me access features while I am away from my desk.

Cons

The thing that could be better is the dashboard which seems fairly complex and doesn't offer much room for customization. Ideally, it would show only the features I actually have access to but right now I have to search through all the apps to find what I need. The pricing can also feel a little restrictive because some of the more advanced capabilities come with extra charges. I have also noticed some slowness when the system is processing larger amounts of data and during busy hours that delay can get frustrating.

Clean interface with fast approvals

Pros

Rippling stands out with a clean, user friendly interface and does a really good job handling a wide range of HR tasks in one place. As an end user I use it often for submitting leave requests, checking payroll, managing expenses and pulling important documents like tax forms. The platform seems fast, well organized and visually clear so getting around it is easy even without any training. Notifications come through on time, approvals move quickly and the whole system feels tightly connected.

Cons

One drawback is that customer support can be slow and a bit hard to reach. When something goes wrong, getting a timely and useful response tends to take longer than expected which can definitely be frustrating.

The best HR experience

Pros

Overall a an amazing experience. The interface is very user friendly, the design looks clean and I can usually find what I need without any confusion. It's been the best HR platform I have used.

Cons

If I had to point out one thing, documents can occasionally be a little tricky to locate when they're tucked away in a dynamic hidden menu.

A user friendly switch that paid off

Pros

Using Rippling has been really simple from the start and getting around the platform is very user friendly. I was a little unsure about making the switch from FiveEST but at this point I am really glad we decided to move over.

Cons

Honestly I don't really have anything negative to say about it. Everything has been excellent, the team has been helpful and the platform is very user friendly. It's easy to navigate and I haven't run into any issues with it at all.

Fast invoices and payments

Pros

The invoice layout saves a lot of time and the interface seems very reliable. The tabs are well organized and right where they should be which makes everything quicker to handle. Payments are processed faster too and I haven't run into any lag or unnecessary hassle.

All HR, IT and finance together

Pros

Having HR, IT and finance all tied together in one system is a huge plus. It lets teams handle onboarding, payroll, benefits, devices, apps and even corporate cards without bouncing between different tools. Keeping everything in one place cuts down on tool sprawl and makes day to day work much more manageable for HR and operations.

Cons

One downside is that customer support can be slow or inconsistent especially during critical moments like payroll runs or benefits enrollment. There's a help center and a ticketing system available but getting real-time assistance isn't always quick or guaranteed.

Responsive support with useful tools

Pros

The platform is pretty easy to use and the customer support has been excellent. Whenever I ran into an issue, I got a reply very quickly. I use Rippling for employee surveys, handling PTO requests and hiring.

Cons

Setting up job postings in the ATS felt a bit confusing and I had to contact customer support several times before I really got comfortable with the process.

Simple hourly pay tracking

Pros

Getting paid hourly as a contractor is really easy with this tool. The time clock feature is very simple to use and makes logging hours quick and hassle-free.

Cons

One thing I'd love to see is the ability to clock out from my phone. It would also be much better if the app included all of the same features that are available on the website.

Time tracking with payroll confidence

Pros

A clear payroll and HR hub

Pros

Rippling is well designed as the interface is clear and simple to follow. I can use it not just for payroll tasks like withdrawing my salary or checking my invoices but also for HR-related things such as viewing the company structure and requesting time off.

Cons

Getting help when I needed it was difficult. The only path offered was to contact my company's administrator instead of software support directly and I cannot exactly go to my CEO over a small platform issue.

Pros

Navigating the interface seems very easy and the tabs I use are simple to arrange the way I want. Overall it's very user friendly.

Helpful HR and payroll integration

Pros

Keeping tabs on the organizational structure, payroll and leave management is pretty convenient with Rippling. The way these modules connect with each other works really well and makes things much more useful for both HR and operations.

Cons

Certain parts of the interface feel a little dated and not as user friendly as they could be. It gets the job done but the overall user experience and layout design still have room to be improved.

user friendly PTO and expenses hub

Pros

Rippling is very easy to use and even without any training I have always been able to handle what I need without trouble. Signing documents, requesting PTO and uploading company expenses have all been simple for me.

Cons

One thing that can be frustrating is the login process since it sometimes takes a bit longer than I want. There are times when I have to wait for a code by message or go through multi-factor authentication. I get that it's there for security but it can be inconvenient when I need to log in quickly.
