reliable HR hub

Pros

It is really easy to use and I don't have to keep checking with HR to figure out where or how to do something anymore. It's very simple to use.

Cons

The notifications could use some improvement and reminders would be an even better addition especially if I could get prompted about submitting my time cards.

Helpful pay details but clock is frustrating

Pros

Being able to check my pay, see the full breakdown, look ahead at my vacation time and submit time-off requests is really useful.

Cons

Its clock seems slightly delayed since it doesn't show seconds and the clock-out process is frustrating because I cannot always get back into the system when I need to.

top notch HR platform

Pros

Out of all the HR platforms I have used, this is by far the most user friendly. The moment I log in, everything seems simple and makes sense right away. It's simple to locate anything I need, whether that's payroll, benefits or PTO.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any complaints about it. I definitely cannot say the same for the other HR systems I have worked with before.

Cost-effective and customizable

Pros

Being able to choose only the functions you actually need makes Rippling a very cost-efficient option. It offers almost everything our previous system had but at about half the cost.

Cons

One downside is the lack of general document storage and you still have to run reports to get basic details like employee compensation changes.

Fast access to payroll documents

Pros

Everything is quick to pull up and very accessible, from getting my W-9 to viewing my paperless paycheck.

Cons

Nothing really comes to mind since it covers what I need. The only thing that might be nice is a full list of company holidays for the year.

helpful guides and simple interface

Pros

Right from the start it felt incredibly easy to use. I almost never need to contact HR just to figure out where documents are located which saves a lot of time. There are also plenty of step-by-step guides that walk you through the platform and make everything even clearer. On top of that the mobile app is excellent which honestly isn't something you see often with HR software.

Cons

There's barely anything to complain about. I haven't run into any problems with the platform at all. I am really only adding this extra sentence to meet the 100-character minimum.

Onboarding made smooth

Pros

Starting at a new company felt really easy because the platform guided me through each onboarding step one by one making it simple to finish everything on time.

Cons

Honestly I didn't run into any real downsides as it made switching employers and handling all the insurance and onboarding tasks feel completely smooth.

Clean UI with quick onboarding

Pros

The platform is very user friendly, with a clean and simple interface. Getting familiar with it doesn't take long and the menu labels are clear and concise. The dashboard also feels organized and professional.

Cons

There are only a few minor things I'd change. One improvement would be making the profile image icon a bit larger.

Helpful articles with self-service

Pros

Overall the platform is pretty user friendly. There are plenty of help articles available when questions come up which makes it simple to find answers on my own. I appreciate being able to resolve things myself without needing to reach out to a support agent.

Cons

When I needed to set up several new employees in Malaysia and Brazil, I had to source their laptops and other equipment myself because delivery isn't available to those countries. I would have much rather used the store for that.

user friendly interface with easy navigation

Pros

Rippling's visual interface seems very user friendly and using it is easy too. On top of that moving through the platform is really impressive because the navigation is clear and convenient.

Cons

One thing that slowed me down was the dropdown list since it was hard to tell the options apart at first. Because of that, I ended up spending more time than expected trying to find the specific option I needed.

A quick and helpful insurance hub

Pros

Navigation feels fast and comfortable. It's a helpful newer tool for handling insurance and everything works quickly and appropriately without any issues so far.

Cons

Nothing major comes to mind. The reminders can be a bit too frequent but they're still helpful for making sure nothing important gets forgotten and everything gets done on time.

Clear updates with easy navigation

Pros

Regular email updates kept me in the loop and the system was simple to navigate. Finding calendars was quick and easy too.

Cons

Submitting a time-off request was painfully tedious. It took far too many clicks and pages just to request a single day off and I ended up having to fill out the form around 20 times for that one day.

Terrible support when payroll matters

Pros

It did automatically handle payroll tax payments and that was really the only benefit. Adding a bit more here since the text box needs extra content.

Cons

Support was awful. The chat option was useless and there was no real way to talk to an actual person. That is a terrible situation to be stuck in when payroll is critical for both you and your team.

Convenient Apple Pay integration

Pros

Using Rippling with Apple Pay has been really convenient. It integrates well so handling payments and expenses right from my devices seems quick and easy. The whole process is fast, secure and simple to navigate.

Cons

Sharing access with the team is also easy, thanks to clear permission controls and a setup process that seems user friendly. So no cons to share!

Billing mess with shady practices

Pros

At best, the UI/UX is the only redeeming part of Rippling. Beyond that, the product is absolutely terrible.

Cons

If transparency, dependable billing and honest business practices matter to you, I'd recommend staying away. My experience was full of unexplained charges, unhelpful support and behavior I would never expect from a company this large. The product may have some potential but the way the company operates behind the scenes completely overshadows it. This wasn't just a bad experience as it felt like a warning.

A powerful all in one platform

Pros

it brings together almost everything a business needs in one place such as HR, payroll, time and attendance, checks, IT and even general finance tools. Having all of that on a single platform is incredibly valuable and it's something I really appreciate.

Cons

A thing that gets frustrating is having to log in again every time I switch devices. Also, the new layout isn't especially practical to use, even though it does look nice visually.

All our HR needs in one hub

Pros

Rippling covers just about everything I need. I can handle time off, demographic details, payroll, time cards, insurance and signed documents all in one place which is amazing.

Cons

One thing that still seems limited is visibility outside my own team. I cannot tell whether someone is out on PTO if they aren't on my team or a direct report and I also cannot see whether someone else is clocked in.

Appealing interface with quick loading

Pros

The interface and overall user experience feel really polished and appealing and the platform also loads quickly without taking much time.

Cons

it still allows on-the-spot leave applications under the restricted holiday category which can undermine the policy requiring a two-week prior notice.

Having everything HR-related in one place is really convenient. Rippling makes it simple to handle my annual leave, submit expenses and check my payslips without jumping between different tools.

Cons

At times finding certain areas of the platform can be a bit frustrating. For instance, the expense page took some digging before I was able to locate it.
