“Buggy payroll with unreliable support”
Pros
One thing it definitely did well was the ATS. The interface is clean, easy to navigate and it genuinely made recruiting more manageable. That said no one picks an HRIS just for the applicant tracking piece.
Cons
Going into it I really hoped this platform would live up to the promise but after more than a year using it, it created far more problems than it fixed. On paper the idea sounds ideal like one system to handle both HR and IT. In reality it was full of bugs, weak support and features that felt like they were almost finished but never fully worked. We dealt with recurring payroll sync problems, benefits configurations that never functioned properly and random glitches that made the system impossible to trust unless we manually verified everything. It honestly felt like we were paying to use a beta product. The biggest failure was payroll. They were never able to provide our official tax forms so we had to hire and pay an outside firm to complete them correctly which completely defeats the purpose of paying for a payroll platform in the first place. Support made the experience even worse. They didn't seem to understand payroll and most of the responses we got were vague, copy and paste replies with no real ownership of the issue. When compliance and employee pay are involved, you need people who know what they're doing and actually care. Unfortunately this system let us down on both counts. Support was inconsistent at best, with long delays, unclear guidance and usually no real resolution. When you're responsible for people operations and payroll, you simply cannot rely on guesswork or software that breaks without warning. We've moved to another system since then and honestly the relief has been enormous.

“PTO requests made effortless”
Pros
Submitting time-off requests through Rippling has been really convenient. I can view my PTO balance anytime, send in a request within seconds and receive updates quickly. Everything feels efficient and hassle-free which takes the stress out of the whole process.
Cons
I honestly haven't run into any issues with it. Using it has been a positive experience overall and the time-off request process has been especially convenient.

“All HR and spend together”
Pros
Rippling really brings everything together in one place, from time off tracking and spend management with company cards to pay stubs and just about everything else in between.
Cons
There honestly isn't much to complain about with it because it's such a strong software package. It might feel a bit overwhelming for some people at the beginning but a short training session is usually all it takes to get everyone comfortable and using this instead of juggling five different apps.

“A powerful HR solution”
Pros
One of the best parts of Rippling is how it brings employee management into one place. Rather than switching between separate tools for HR, payroll, IT and benefits, everything is combined in a single platform. That level of integration cuts down a lot of manual work, removes repeated data entry and makes onboarding and offboarding much more efficient.
Cons
One downside is that, even though the all in one setup is powerful, it can feel a bit too complex at times especially for smaller teams or companies that don't really need every feature.

“Unprofessional outreach that wasted time”
Pros
I honestly don't have anything positive to mention.
Cons
This felt completely unprofessional. They reached out to me on LinkedIn and offered a gift card if I agreed to a demo, even though they already knew what industry my business is in. After that, they sent me a long list of questions before the meeting, only to come back later and say they don't work with this type of business. That makes no sense and if that was the case, why contact me at all?

“Full support for global teams”
Pros
Rippling has been really effective for keeping org charts up to date, managing employee benefits and leave and supporting international teams all from one central place. When I need additional functionality, it also gives me the option to build those plugins through its interface.
Cons
It would help if they offered more ready-made plugins to cut down on setup time. The dashboard UX can also feel confusing and a bit overwhelming.

Pros
Having Time Management and Payroll built right into our everyday workflow has really boosted how efficiently we operate.
Cons
At this point there really haven't been any downsides. Everything has been high quality with excellent service and the hassles we dealt with from previous vendors just haven't happened here.

“Strong SSO with scripting power”
Pros
Having amazing SSO, excellent MDM and really strong Asset Management in one place has been a huge win. As part of the IT team, the feature I appreciate most is being able to run scripts directly from the backend which is incredibly useful.
Cons
It still isn't fully operational in India. Warehouse and Zero Touch aren't available there and Remote Access is also missing.

Pros
The onboarding process was very organized and simple. Timecard management works just as well like both parts of the system have been consistently reliable.
Cons
One minor issue comes up with the time card feature, where there can be a bit of lag between clicking and the webpage actually registering the input.

“A buggy payroll mess to avoid”
Pros
Honestly there really isn't anything positive we can point to about either the product itself or the experience of trying to get it up and running.
Cons
The sales pitch sounded polished but once we got into the actual setup, it was clear we understood the product better than the US onboarding rep did. The UI and navigation are extremely confusing and the functionality seems bolted together rather than properly built. On top of that the whole system is very buggy sometimes things worked sometimes they didn't which is the last thing you want from a payroll platform. Support was not actually helpful either. Most of the time, help meant being sent to documentation or being told to click through steps ourselves. We were also told their data team would assist with moving payroll data from Gusto into their system but in the end, we had to handle that work on our own. Bank account connection and verification was another frustrating process that took several repeated attempts and dragged on for weeks before anything finally went through. We constantly heard, let me check with engineering and get back to you and after four attempts it only maybe worked. They claimed to be strong in global payroll but based on our experience, it felt like they had little to no real understanding of multi entity, multi country setups. Even basic tasks, like bank verification, took far more time and effort than they ever should have. And even when something appeared to be completed, the verification micro-deposits were still not removed properly. In total, we spent nearly three months trying to get everything set up before deciding to walk away without ever running payroll. Looking back, I am relieved we didn't process payroll through them because we would have been in a very bad position. At this point I have zero confidence that the system would handle payroll correctly or accurately.

“A clear payroll and benefits hub”
Pros
Rippling has been an excellent HR management platform for me. It gives me clear visibility into my benefits package, compensation, pay stubs org chart and the holiday calendar all in one place. The inbox and task reminder system feels polished and practical and the timely email notifications do a good job of helping employees stay compliant. Viewing and signing documents is also handled really well by the Rippling team.
Cons
One issue came up when I was charged California state taxes even though I had lived in Florida for the entire pay period aside from the afternoon of the final day which was a Friday. I updated my address to California on the Monday of the following week but the pay stub I received that Friday still included California taxes. After I contacted my company's HR team, they were able to resolve it for me.

“All employee management together”
Pros
One platform handles the full employee lifecycle, from application and onboarding all the way through separation, plus everything in between.
Cons
There are no major issues with the product. A few times, the communication around required tasks could have been a bit clearer and I'd also like the option to filter resumes by location but those are pretty minor concerns.

“PTO and payroll done correctly”
Pros
The thing Rippling does really well is handling day to day HR tasks. Requesting time off is also easy and it's simple to edit or delete PTO, sick time and similar requests. The healthcare section is also very well organized, with all of my medical, dental, vision and FSA details clearly displayed in one place. On top of that the payroll area is convenient to use since I can review and download paystubs, update my allocations and adjust tax withholdings whenever needed.
Cons
The expense submission process could be better. It doesn't feel as user friendly as I'd want and there are too many fields to complete which makes submitting expenses more complex than in other tools I have used.

Pros
Everything about it seems user friendly, from the overall process flow to the way tasks move from one step to the next. It saves a lot of time, the next actions and reminders are always clearly laid out and having the UI in one place makes the whole experience very pleasant while making it hard to overlook anything.
Cons

“Boosts efficiency all around”
Pros
Having everything connected in Rippling was the biggest win for me. The platform seems very user friendly and bringing HR, IT and finance tools into one system made the whole process much simpler. I especially valued the time savings like tasks that used to take hours in other platforms were done in just minutes here. It really feels like a lot of care went into designing the user experience.
Cons
One thing I liked less was that despite how powerful the platform is some features were a little overwhelming at the beginning especially the more advanced settings. There's definitely a learning curve if you're new to it and every now and then I had to search around a bit to find exactly what I needed. Once you become familiar with it though, it gets much easier to navigate.
