HR and IT combined perfectly

Pros

Getting seasonal staff onboarded seems much more manageable with Rippling because the automated workflows take a lot of the manual work off our plate. The interface is user friendly and the centralized dashboard keeps everything in one place, from payroll to benefits so it stays organized and easy to access. Having a single platform that covers both HR and IT tasks is incredibly useful especially for things like document collection, policy acknowledgments and device management. Being able to run payroll fast and accurately while also giving employees a simple way to check their benefits information makes Rippling a really valuable tool for both administrators and staff.

Cons

A few integrations are a bit challenging to get set up without dedicated support and there are times when customer service takes longer than expected to respond which can slow progress. On top of that some configuration options for more complex organizational structures don't feel as flexible as we would want.

Handy leave and employee tracking

Pros

The app handles leave updates well and keeps track of employee information, both personal and professional. It's been a really useful management tool for our team to work with.

Cons

The only part that seems a bit disappointing is the UI elevation and overall design of the application. Other than that, everything else works fine.

Simple clocking with easy onboarding

Pros

It is really easy to use and that stood out right away during onboarding. The setup felt simple and I especially appreciated how convenient it was to clock in and out without any hassle.

Cons

The problem I have noticed is that the software doesn't always update properly. There have also been times when I know I clocked in and out but my hours weren't recorded.

very handy mobile access

Pros

Onboarding process was smooth and the platform was easy to use for training and submitting information. Aso it is helpful that coworker details like location and PTO are easy to find, while sensitive data stays hidden to protect privacy. The mobile app has also been amazing.

Cons

One annoyance is that the PTO calendar exports as one long list of events instead of a shared calendar I can toggle on and off so it clutters my personal calendar and doesn't refresh when new PTO requests are added. The mobile app also sometimes gets stuck in an authentication loop during login.

Pros

The layout is user friendly and simple to read and it gives me a convenient way to track my hours and clock in and out for each shift.

Cons

A handy mobile clock-in app

Pros

Having the mobile app makes a big difference for me. I am usually moving around during the day so being able to clock in and out for every shift right from my phone is exactly what I need. That level of convenience is really all I can ask for.

Cons

One thing I'd change is how tasks that need attention are displayed. On the mobile app, they don't stand out enough so I hardly ever notice them.

Pros

Rippling really stands out for pulling everything into one place without making it feel complicated. Instead of bouncing between separate tools, I can handle HR, payroll, IT and app management from a single platform that feels easy to use. The onboarding and offboarding automation has been especially valuable since it saves a lot of manual effort and helps prevent mistakes.

Cons

The thing that was less enjoyable is that the platform is packed with powerful features so the initial setup and customization can feel a little overwhelming. It takes time to learn how everything works and configure it properly for your organization especially when moving over from other systems.

Pros

Everything feels convenient and well put together. It has all the essentials you need, plus extra information and features you didn't even realize would be useful.

Cons

The only downside is that there's almost so much included that it can be a bit overwhelming. I have caught myself getting lost in the apps and browsing through different deals for several minutes.

All my payroll details together

Pros

Having Rippling for things like PTO, vacation time, salary info, taxes and pay stubs has been incredibly helpful. It's really convenient to keep all of that information in one place and the best part for me is being able to submit a PTO request without needing to send an email or speak directly with my supervisor.

Cons

Well the only thing I'd want added is a clearer way to view my yearly salary. I haven't been able to find that anywhere and I am not sure whether that option exists.

Using it is not a hassle and both the website and mobile app are laid out in a really organized, effective way.
