HR and IT done right

Pros

Having payroll, benefits, device management and employee onboarding all in one place makes a big difference. Rather than juggling separate tools for every HR and IT task, Rippling pulls everything together in a single platform with a modern, user friendly interface.

Cons

There's a lot of functionality packed in and that can make the learning curve feel a little steep for new users especially anyone without a technical background. Certain areas of the admin dashboard seem overwhelming at the beginning. Still, once the layout starts to make sense, the efficiency is absolutely worth it. Better onboarding tutorials or more guided workflows would make it easier for people to get up to speed.

A powerful all in one platform

Pros

Having HR and IT functions brought together in a single platform made a big difference. It feels powerful, user friendly and surprisingly scalable as the team continues to grow.

Cons

A few of the more advanced features came with a slight learning curve and didn't feel completely user friendly at first.

Beginner-friendly and efficient

Pros

Right away Rippling felt very user friendly and approachable especially for someone new to the platform. It helps us stay on top of tasks, time and benefits across the workplace which makes day to day management much better. I have worked with plenty of other systems like ADP, Paycor and Meraki and honestly Rippling has been the most efficient one out of all of them.

Cons

There really isn't anything I genuinely dislike about it. If I had to point out one thing, I wish there were a feature that kept my trusted devices signed in so I wouldn't have to log in over and over on the ones I use all the time. Aside from that, the platform is excellent.

A cost-saving HR lifeline

Pros

Rippling has been a fantastic fit for our company. As a startup, it helps us cover a major HR need without bringing on dedicated HR staff which keeps expenses down and supports profitability. We're able to handle onboarding and offboarding without much trouble just by assigning a few additional tasks to members of our leadership team. That alone has saved us from needing to hire a full-time HR employee with a six-figure salary.

Cons

Having used nearly every part of the platform from both the employee side and the admin side, I can honestly say I haven't run into many downsides. If I had to point to one area, it would be the onboarding flow for new hires. When they set up their IT account, they also have to configure 2FA/MFA and standard users can get confused during that step without fully understanding what they're doing. Because of that, I have ended up resetting 2FA/MFA for every new employee after they finish the hiring process.

A powerful HR solution

Pros

Everything is housed in one place which is a big plus. Rippling brings together onboarding, payroll, benefits, app management, access management and performance management in a single unified platform. If you need a scalable, all in one system to handle employees and operations efficiently, Rippling is hard to beat.

Cons

The pricing can be a bit steep for small businesses, the initial setup takes some time and the mobile app could definitely use some improvement.

user friendly payroll and timekeeping

Pros

It is very easy to use. Also the interface is user friendly and it handles time tracking and payroll in a simple, efficient way.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any negative feedback about the application. Every feature I have used has worked well and I haven't run into any issues with any of them.

A modern all in one HR platform

Pros

A modern, user friendly interface made Rippling pleasant to work with. Having payroll, benefits, apps and devices managed in one place saved us a lot of time and the modular setup let us add features as we grew instead of paying upfront for tools we didn't need yet.

Cons

One frustration is that support can be slow to respond especially when it comes to urgent payroll or compliance matters. Resolution times can be inconsistent and there isn't much visibility into SLAs or how tickets are being handled.

Onboarding completely transformed

Pros

Its speed and efficiency are incredible as it's honestly surprising how much can get done in Rippling. It has completely transformed the way we handle onboarding and support remote or hybrid employees.

Cons

nothing comes to mind. The only limitations I have run into have been due to my company not rolling out certain features yet.

A brilliant interface for time-off

Pros

The interface looks excellent and scheduling PTO or other time off is very accessible and easy without feeling complicated.

Cons

At times it can be hard to locate exactly what I need because there's so much information in the system which makes navigation a bit difficult.

Helpful pay and HR updates

Pros

Using it has been very fun. It's nice getting notifications whenever I am paid and when my expense reports are approved.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any complaints. I have really enjoyed using it to keep track of pay, time off, expenses and other HR-related needs.

A platform that gets it right

Pros

Having everything in one place is what I like most about Rippling. I can check my time log, keep up with time off and manage my benefits without bouncing between different tools which saves a lot of time and frustration. The layout seems clean and user friendly so moving through the different sections is also very easy. It's obvious the platform was designed with a lot of attention to the overall user experience.

Cons

Something I have run into from time to time is when I am logging my hours for the day, the page doesn't always load the way it should. That makes it hard to tell whether my time entry actually went through or if I need to refresh and submit it again. A clear confirmation message or status indicator would make a big difference especially when the system appears unresponsive.

Pros

Requesting PTO is really easy which takes a lot of the stress out of the process.

surprisingly fast and easy to work with!

Pros

Everything in Rippling is very user friendly so it's quick to find exactly what you need and the platform is surprisingly fast overall.

Cons

The one area that seems a little awkward is the time-off schedule. It's not simple to pull up a list of requested and approved time off and there's no option to book time off in half-day increments.

well organized attendance tools

Pros

Using it as an employee is not hard at all and the time and attendance features are laid out in a really organized way.

Cons

Helpful reviews with leave tracking

Pros

Rippling has made my day to day evaluations much more manageable. It's especially useful for tracking leave, handling peer-to-peer reviews and giving a clearer view of the organization structure with detailed reporting lines for each person. The mobile app is also a big plus and adds to the user friendly experience.

Cons

Well its onboarding experience still seems like it could be improved. If the user onboarding journey were more polished, the platform would be even better.

Convenient HR all in one spot

Pros

The thing that my day is having everything in one place. As it keeps my reports, leave management and appraisal cycle reports under a single application which saves time and cuts down on switching between tools. The org chart is also really helpful when I need to check the company hierarchy. On top of that there's a mobile app so I can still apply details and handle things while I am on the go.

Cons

The onboarding journey could definitely be better since I had to spend time exploring the different products on my own. The login flow on mobile also needs some improvement and the mobile view isn't as enjoyable or as easy to navigate as the desktop version.

All team management together

Pros

Having everything in one place makes a huge difference. It covers all the things I need for myself and for managing my team and I can keep up with my spending as well as my team's time-off requests.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any complaints. Being able to text in my memos and receipts is something I really love and the task notifications are super helpful. It seems perfect for what I need.

Pros
