All our HR tools together

Pros

Having HRIS, payroll, benefits, LMS and more all in one platform is really convenient. It's nice being able to handle several tasks from a single page instead of jumping between different systems.

Cons

Some screens show pop-ups that get annoying. If I have already selected not interested, that message really shouldn't keep showing up the next time I log in.

great support but payroll setup is busy

Pros

Rippling appears to handle the full payroll picture including expenses, holiday tracking and employee personal information. The account manager provides very strong customer support and is easy to communicate with.

Cons

After more than 30 years working in payroll, I'd say the system seems quite busy when processing. It also comes across as a platform originally built for the US market and then adapted for UK requirements so I wouldn't be surprised if some issues came up during implementation or afterwards.

Automation that wins every time

Pros

Having HR, IT and payroll all in one place is Rippling's biggest advantage. The automation is especially impressive as things like onboarding and provisioning devices or apps happen well and cut down a lot of manual work.

Cons

A drawback is that some features can feel a bit complex or overwhelming at the beginning especially for new users. Certain workflows also have limited customization and resolving issues sometimes means contacting support instead of handling it through self-service. On top of that occasional delays from customer support can be frustrating.

an amazing HR hub

Pros

Rippling has been an excellent experience overall. It works really well as the central place for all of our HR and benefits administration and it has scaled nicely alongside our remote team. A lot of the repetitive admin work that used to take up so much time is now automated which has made a big difference day to day. It's honestly been one of the smartest software investments we've made as a team. The platform is also very user friendly for employees and having one reliable source for everything from updating addresses to enrolling in benefits has significantly cut down the administrative burden on our side. I'd absolutely recommend it to growing companies.

Cons

Since it covers so many areas such as HR, IT, Finance and Payroll the admin side of the platform can feel crowded and a bit overwhelming. Admins often mention that basic tasks or certain settings are tucked away under several layers of menus and setting up highly customized workflows can take quite a bit of trial and error.

Clean interface with handy tracking

Pros

Using Rippling has not been a problem. The interface is clean and user friendly and it makes it simple to keep track of payments, request withdrawals and manage time off without any confusion.

Cons

There are two areas I'd still like to see improved such as saving the sort settings for payments in the contractor hub and adding support for Brazilian bank accounts that don't have a SWIFT code.

Local payroll done the right way

Pros

Local compliance is where this platform really stands out. I get paid in my local currency, receive all my local benefits and the customer support team is very responsive whenever I need help. The dashboard is also simple and easy to use which makes everything much more convenient.

Cons

It would be even better with more tools that give me more reasons to spend time in the app. The learning feature also seems a bit limited right now and could use more content.

A great tool for payroll and records

Pros

Using Rippling has been a very user friendly experience and it delivers excellent value for the money. It's a must-have for handling payroll and keeping employee records organized.

Cons

Honestly I only have positive things to say. The service was excellent, they went beyond what I expected and everything worked without any hiccups or issues.

Smooth HR migration experience

Pros

Switching over to Rippling was very easy and I really like how well all the details from my old HR portal were carried over into the new system.

Cons

At the moment the leave management setup especially the way leave is allocated throughout the year means I can only accrue 0.7 sick leave per month which seems limiting.

Clear payroll and benefits hub

Pros

Using Rippling day to day is fun. At NextDay I mostly rely on it to log my hours, view my pay statements and check my benefits and having all of that in one place is a huge help. The layout is clean and simple so it's quick to find things like tax forms or salary details without having to reach out to HR. From an employee perspective it takes a lot of the hassle out of the administrative side of work.

Cons

One area that could use some improvement is how payroll details are displayed. There are times when I'd like a more detailed breakdown of certain deductions or calculations right inside the platform. It's not a big problem but a little more transparency there would make the overall experience even better.

Convenience done the right way

Pros

The platform is simple and easy to use. I don't have to spend time figuring out where things are or how to complete basic tasks and that makes a noticeable difference in everyday use. Having everything together in one place is another big plus especially for things like payments and time tracking because it makes the overall experience much more convenient and less stressful. Also it helps keep employee information and related processes organized in a really efficient way. On top of that whenever I have needed customer support, the help has been reliable and useful which adds to my confidence in the platform overall.

Cons

There's very little to complain about but some features do take a little time to fully learn At the beginning mainly because there are so many functions available. A bit more built-in guidance or onboarding for new users would make the initial learning curve feel even better.

Consistent app with useful cards

Pros

One thing that really works well is how consistent the experience is between the desktop version and the app. Most of the time the software is easy to navigate and having both Corporate Cards and Benefits Cards available within the same platform is genuinely helpful.

Cons

Travel expense tracking and card activity aren't as user friendly as they are in Concur. I'd also like more clarity around how travel budgets are determined since that part isn't very transparent. On top of that making travel arrangements seems more complicated than it should be.

Helpful support for setting up payroll

Pros

Setting this up for a small startup payroll process went really well and the customer support was especially helpful throughout. The implementation process was also simple which made things much easier while getting everything in place.

Cons

My only frustration was that the full implementation took longer than expected and I had to resend the same information multiple times.

Automation that works perfectly

Pros

Bringing HR, IT and finance together in one place is the biggest advantage of Rippling. Rather than switching between separate tools for payroll, device management and employee records, everything is centralized which helps teams move faster and cut down on mistakes. The automation is especially impressive during onboarding, where payroll setup, laptop provisioning, app access and permissions can all be managed through a single workflow. That kind of connected experience reflects thoughtful product design and practical problem-solving. From a technical standpoint, I also value that a platform like this depends on scalable architecture, well-designed APIs and strong data consistency which are all areas I am genuinely interested in exploring further.

Cons

At the same time the all in one model can make it look complicated and a bit overwhelming, particularly for new users or smaller teams that don't need every feature in the suite. Since so many important functions live in one system, there's naturally a steeper learning curve and more reliance on a single platform. When something needs customization or runs into an issue, it can affect several workflows at once. On top of that tightly integrated systems like this can sometimes be less flexible than using separate specialized tools which may be a downside for companies with very specific or unusual needs.

Great support for payroll automation

Pros

Rippling has been very user friendly for employees. The implementation team did an excellent job getting everything set up and guiding us through the process which really contributed to a successful launch. On the payroll side a lot of tasks including benefits, were automated which cut down significantly on manual work.

Cons

I really do not have anything negative to add here. Any gaps they currently have are already being addressed from a solutions perspective. Nothing has felt like a hard no as they listen to feedback and actively work on fixes.

Modern HRIS with strong automation

Pros

Compared with our current system, the interface seems much more modern and is far easier to navigate and set up. Using the HRIS as the source of truth for our existing IdP will be a big advantage when it comes to automating employee lifecycle management.

Cons

Their library of third-party integrations is still being expanded and a few of them require buying a plan or subscription through the tool to get the full value. That could end up being worth it but it still needs a bit more evaluation.

user friendly interface with easy navigation

The interface is extremely user friendly and makes getting around the platform is not a hassle, no matter how comfortable someone is with technology.

Fast, organized, and totally reliable

Pros

Using Rippling at work has been a really positive experience. The platform is also quick and simple to use. Menus are clear and easy to understand so no digging around. The org chart is very helpful. Plus it makes it easy to understand the team structure and find anyone in the company without hassle. It also seems worth the monthly cost. Our HR team uses it to handle salaries which keeps things transparent and well organized. Customer support has also been excellent. They respond fast and fix issues quickly. One time they resolved a login problem in under two hours. Overall it makes everyday HR tasks much easier to manage.

Cons

One thing that could definitely be better is the level of customization. There isn't much room to personalize certain features and a lot of the time you have to rely on a manager to make changes or updates which can slow the process down.

All benefits in one convenient place

Pros

Everything is laid out in a very user friendly way and having all my benefits kept in one place makes things really convenient. It's also simple to pull up and review my pay statements whenever I need to.

Cons

There are occasional bugs and technical issues and customer support can feel somewhat limited at times. Integration gaps can also create some problems.

Timesheet edits made simple

Pros

Being able to fix my own timesheets and send them over for manager approval has been a huge improvement. With Intuit's system, my manager had to correct everything and since I tend to forget things, that got frustrating fast. This setup is much more convenient and I also haven't run into the bugs I dealt with in other platforms.

Cons

The sign-in process is the part that could use the most work. Right now, there aren't many 2FA choices beyond text or email. Passkeys would be a welcome addition and standard authenticator code options would help too. When payroll is involved, the login experience should feel more secure and having SSO available would also be a nice upgrade.
