has a great experience for payroll and requests

Pros

We have been relying on Rippling for payroll, expense reimbursements and time-off requests and the experience is generally very smooth. Plus having everything from my pay stubs to my vacation requests in a single spot is great and the alerts help me stay organized. It can feel a bit feature-heavy at first but once you are familiar with it, it's a massive time-saver.

Cons

Right now I have no complaints whatsoever. I mean None at all!

A fairly basic and simple app for clocking in

Pros

The app is fairly basic and the clock-in and clock-out functions are very simple to use.

Cons

I would prefer if the system did not automatically round my clock-in and clock-out times up or down.

Very useful for payroll and secure offers

Pros

I find it very useful for payroll and I love that I can securely send an offer letter and collect information with a single click. Also the integration does not just save me hours of work but it also removes the risk of manual mistakes.

Cons

One thing I found is that it is frustrating to customize and adjust our workflows because the whole procedure was lengthy and complicated.

Surprisingly fast for clocking in and out

I am always surprised by how fast I can clock in and out using the app.

Consolidates everything into a single system

Pros

The most useful thing about Rippling is how it consolidates everything such as payroll, benefits, time tracking and employee details into a single system. This makes management simpler, speeds up tasks and helps me cut down on errors.

Cons

One of the least helpful part is that some functions are not immediately obvious and it can take a while to get comfortable with the platform, particularly when new updates change how things operate.

Pretty smooth setup and easy to use

Pros

Getting everything set up went pretty smoothly. And so far I find the platform very easy to use. The support team was quick to look into my issue with the Guideline integration, even though they did not find a problem on their end. Rippling seems to have a lot of capabilities but I have not had a chance to try them all out yet.

Cons

Our setup process did come with a few problems. We ran into a specific issue when trying to switch our payroll provider from Gusto to Rippling within Guideline. I had hoped this transition would be completely seamless.

Very interactive and not difficult to learn

Pros

The platform is very interactive and was not difficult to learn. I actually passed my training on the first attempt because the modules were so well put together.

Cons

I do not have any specific criticisms. I did have a small issue in the training modules where my cursor was not working properly so I had to move it around until it changed to a hand symbol before I could click.

Pretty easy to use and very practical

It is pretty easy to use and very practical at the same time plus it offers several different languages.

Combines HR payroll benefits and IT

Pros

Rippling combines HR, payroll, benefits and IT into one platform which saves us huge amount of time and reduces mistakes. Instead of switching between different programs, everything from onboarding to managing equipment is linked together. The automation is a real game-changer because a new employee can be set up with payroll, benefits and app access in just minutes. The reporting is also much clearer than in other systems I have tried and the integrations make it simple to connect with our other tools.

Cons

Since it handles so many tasks, the platform can feel a bit intimidating initially as there is a definite learning period for newcomers. Some of the more advanced reports and customizations need more configuration than I anticipated and sometimes I have to rely on support or help articles to figure it out. However the product is improving rapidly which is great but it sometimes feels like the features are released just before the guides are fully updated.

Brings HR and payroll together in one spot

Pros

I really like how Rippling brings HR, payroll and onboarding together in one spot. Also it is very user friendly, saves us a lot of time and makes handling employee information and procedures much easier.

Cons

A few tools can seem complicated when you first start and it requires some time to master all the options. I also wish the customer support team would respond a bit more quickly.

Very impressed and incredibly easy to use

Pros

Well I am very impressed with Rippling. It is incredibly easy to use, especially for checking my insurance and payroll information. This simplicity helps me manage my life insurance and 401k details effectively.

A very simple process for change requests
