Having HR and IT tasks in one place really helps me keep everything organized and manage them more efficiently. Bringing new employees onboard is also pretty easy with this software.

Cons

Using the software can feel a bit complicated at times and the price is a little high for what it offers.

“A powerful global HR platform”

Pros

Using Rippling has been a really positive experience overall. The interface is user friendly and it brings together a full set of HR management features in one place. I also like how much it automates especially across payroll, hiring and benefits which makes day to day admin work much more manageable. Its global payroll capabilities are another big plus since handling employees in different locations is much simpler. On top of that the platform seems professional for both administrators and employees.

Cons

There are still a few frustrations. Customer support can be lacking at times and the onboarding process seems more complicated than it should. Integrations with other third-party tools are somewhat limited and the mobile app can be slow to use. I have also noticed bugs that raise concerns especially when sensitive information like employee compensation could potentially be exposed. Add in the aggressive sales approach and the fact that the platform does not always work as expected for more complex HR needs and there are definitely areas that need improvement.

“lovely design with simple layout”

Pros

Right from the start the platform seems visually appealing. Even the paystub illustrations are adorable. It's user friendly thoughtfully designed, clear, well organized and easy to navigate. The color choices work really well and make the overall experience pleasant. Everything is laid out in a way that makes sense so I can usually find what I need without any trouble. There are also plenty of resources available if I want to troubleshoot issues or clear up confusion on my own.

Cons

Updates seem to lag in the system. I'll sometimes get asked to complete a task I have already finished and it stays on my homepage like an eyesore. In some cases, it can even block access to features I need because a change I made in my account hasn't fully registered yet. It seems more like a glitch than anything else. For instance, I may update my insurance information in my account but the platform can still act like I haven't done it and keep showing a homepage task reminding me to complete my insurance steps.

Having everything in one place makes Rippling really convenient to use and the layout feels well organized.

Cons

At this point there really isn't any drawback that stands out to me.

Checking my time balances, looking over pay stubs and choosing my travel benefits is very easy in this tool.

There have been a few occasions when the app hasn't been very responsive.

The platform is really simple to navigate and the motion graphics make it feel engaging and enjoyable to use. Even without being very tech-savvy, I can still find my way around it without any trouble.

I cannot think of anything about it that I dislike.

Clocking in seems much more easier with this tool. Overall the interface is very user friendly and it makes the whole process a lot simpler than it used to be.

My only frustration is that I cannot log in from my phone although that's due to my company's restrictions and not an issue with the software itself.

The platform is simple to get around and the interface looks really good especially on the mobile app.

It can feel a bit confusing for new users at first because the design is different from what they may be used to. There are also times when performance issues or small glitches come up.

Sadly there wasn't much to like about this tool. It was supposed to provide a more organized manner to handle HR and payroll but it fell short of those expectations.

Right from the start the onboarding felt confusing and ineffective and when we tried to fix the problems after the first month, we realized we were already stuck in a one-year contract. On top of that we found charges for services we never used and customer support wasn't helpful when it came to sorting any of it out. Overall the whole experience was extremely frustrating.

The platform seems very user friendly and simple for the end user which makes it pleasant to use day to day.

Cons

I think the thing that could be improved is how the system handles exit times. Right now, I have to enter it after the actual time has passed even if I am only off by a minute or two. It would be much better to have a 5 to 15 minute rounding rule. For example, if I check in at the end of my day at 2:28 PM and want to set my end time to 2:30 PM because I am not doing any more work in those last two minutes, it would be helpful to enter 2:30 PM directly. As it works now, I have to remember to log back in after 2:30 PM just to sign out for the day. My other issue comes up when approving time cards. On the last day of the pay period, it sometimes takes me to the first day of the next pay cycle instead. I have also noticed a delay between when I approve someone's time card and when the system actually updates to show that it has been approved.

“Convenient HR all in one spot”

Pros

Having all our people operations in one centralized platform has been incredibly convenient. Rippling brings everything together, from checking paystubs and submitting PTO requests to managing benefits so it's much easier to stay on top of employee information and day to day tasks. That all in one setup has really simplified HR management for us, saved time and cut down on constantly switching between different systems.

Cons

Overall the experience has been very positive and I haven't run into any major problems. If there's one area that could be improved, it's that the initial setup or navigation may feel a little overwhelming at first because the platform includes so many features. Once you get used to it though, that depth ends up being one of its biggest strengths.

“A helpful payroll and leave hub”

Pros

Using this platform is not a hassle and it gives really useful visibility into the organisational structure along with balances for different types of leave, from annual leave to jury service. Checking payslips is simple and if one is missing, requesting it is just as convenient. That's especially useful when I need proof of income for personal purchases. Overall it's a very handy platform to have.

Cons

The thing that could be improved is the number of options available for different day types. This may depend on the company setup but merging some of those options could make things a bit clearer.

“HR and IT done right”

Pros

Having payroll, benefits, onboarding and device management all in one place is what I appreciate most about Rippling. It takes a lot off the plate when you're handling both HR and IT responsibilities. The interface seems clear and fairly user friendly especially when compared with some of the older HR systems I have used. I also like how well it integrates with tools like Slack and Google Workspace so keeping everything in sync doesn't take much extra effort.

Cons

A few workflows could be more user friendly and there have definitely been times when I needed to dig through the help docs to figure things out. Aside from that it's a really amazing software platform and one I have genuinely enjoyed using.

“Quick setup with huge HR relief”

Pros

It was easy to set up and run this tool and using it day to day has been just as simple. Since we rolled it out, the number of questions landing on me in HR has almost completely disappeared.

Cons

My only frustration is not being able to roll out all the modules as quickly as I'd like. It also only supports one health insurance policy and we offer supplemental insurance too so I'd love to be able to include that in the system.

Reliability has been a concern. Our organization has run into several outages with the system over the past few months.

Having everything tied to one platform is really convenient since I can go there for all of my employment-related documents, including payroll and benefits information.

A few documents take more effort to find than they should and getting to certain details isn't always very user friendly.
