Pros

Payroll, scheduling and time tracking have been a great help for me. It's excellent system for managing employee clock-ins and clock-outs and it is a real time-saver.

Cons

Its loading duration is not very fast and could use more features to become more user-friendly.

I find the communication tools and software quite useful and simple. Since we started using Roosted HR, our human resource department has seen significant improvements in communication and organizational tasks, such as staff scheduling.

Cons

It takes a long time to load. I hope it improves with continued use.

Pros

Navigating through the menu is pretty easy, which saves me valuable time. Roosted HR is also not messed up with redundant options which makes it easier to accomplish the tasks I need to. The new interface also adds a fresh, friendly look.

Cons

Overall, I wish they had a real-time employee start and stop time tracker for on-the-job use.

Pros

It is very benefical how Roosted HR easily allows me to schedule different actors for various shoots, which saves time compared to sending individual emails. It keeps everything organized and reduces the stress.

Cons

I am not a fan of the price. But I understand they need to earn revenue but improving their support network could justify the cost.

This software makes scheduling much less of a nightmare. Scheduling was a real challenge for me but this tool provided the flexibility needed for varying schedules during tech weeks, off-seasons and more.

We stopped using it because it was not cost-effective for us but we do miss it.

A Year of Using Roosted HR
Pros

The flexibility and customization options are impressive. Many issues can be easily resolved by adjusting settings or contacting support. Over the past year and a half, I've found that Roosted HR capabilities are far more better than they first appear. Initially some advanced features were not visible, but reaching out to the support team unlocked a lot of potential. What stands out is their willingness to develop features tailored to our needs at a reasonable cost.

Cons

If I had to mention a "con," it would be that my company has been a customer since Roosted HR was much smaller. Over the past year and a half, we have seen many changes, but rarely have these changes negatively impacted our experience. In fact, many changes were made partly based on our feedback. So, while it is a "con," it is also a big plus because Roosted HR listens and responds quickly.

The interface is very user-friendly with clear instructions and help sections. Roosted HR is very helpful as I can set up a specific type of schedule and make personalized adjustments.

Cons

A number of its features made my life much easier. Everything I needed was included, and the documentation was easy to follow. The support team was great for the few questions I had.

It immediately updates employees about shifts as soon as I post them on Roosted HR. I can also contact everyone on a shift right away if there are any last-minute changes.

Cons

I dislike the "bail out" button. I also do not like that employees can easily back out after confirming and there seem to be too many texts and emails when filling work shifts.

I am often juggling the schedules for birthday party characters, and I need to manage a lot of people who work sporadically in their free time.
