Pros

It very much simplifies background checks and offers an affordable solution with excellent features. If I talk about myself, I mainly like the reporting and analytics features it provides.

Employees can handle their own verification requests, so I do not even have to get involved which is great and time-saving.

Pros

In my role in Human Resources, I handle multiple employment verification requests. We used to use The Work Number but faced many issues, so now most of our verifications are done with written forms, which are time-consuming to print, scan and send back, or over the phone which often requires an ID number and involves long wait times and poor audio quality. To stay away from all the stress we switched to TrueWork as it offers a much faster solution. And we are much satisfied with its services in all the mentioned areas.

Cons

I have not come across anything I dislike so far. They seem to be the most efficient for verification of employment (VOE) requests.

“Saves us time and effort

Pros

In HR, receiving multiple employment verification requests each week is common. So, in the long run, the process becomes tedious as you always have to download files, manually fill out information and then email it back. However TrueWork has resolved this issue of mine as it functions as a complete hub that handles much of the work for me. I just open the link, fill in the fields and click submit. It also saves the information to my account for record-keeping. Plus, I can download a PDF copy to keep for our company records.

Cons

I don't have any major complaints right now. TrueWork does exactly what it is supposed to. My only concern is with the security of the TrueWork network. I want to be sure that sensitive information is fully protected and not at risk of being leaked or exposed. I trust that TrueWork follows all the necessary security standards, but I feel like I should look into this a bit more just to be sure.

“Eliminate the need for manual work

Pros

TrueWork is very easy to configure and set up, and it syncs with Zenefits. Plus it saves a lot of money and time since we do not need an HR department to manage and check documents. Also we no longer have to type letters for employees and it saves a lot of time for both management and employees.

Cons

There is nothing to dislike about this app. I was able to set it up in just 10 minutes or you can even set it up in a minute if you use Zenefits since TrueWork will automatically sync all employee data from Zenefits. Also there is no additional work required from employees, just follow the registration emails you receive.

Pros

There is this one feature I like the most that lets me skip filling out employment verifications. It saves me a lot of time and effort. Also I have got a great feedback from employees and third parties about how easy it is to use.

I wish I could share at least one negative point, but I can't. It's simply the best!

Truework has completely changed the process for our employment verification process. It has freed up our team to focus on more strategic tasks instead of getting bogged down with manual work.

Cons

We send a file feed to Truework three times a week, but sometimes verification requests come in between those transfers, which can lead to outdated data. So I did suggest increasing the frequency of the feeds if there are a lot of changes to keep everything accurate.

Pros

Using Truework is so much simpler than dealing with tedious lender VOI forms. Also the customer service from my CSM has been absolutely amazing. I also like how the system confirms authorization with employees before the form gets sent to me as the HR admin. The self-service option for employees is a huge plus too, especially with the ability to create customized employment letters and the seamless integration with our HRIS.

Cons

This is not a drawback but rather a suggestion for a new feature, which is the ability to sum monetary amounts in the fields on the VOI/HR Responder Form. I've already shared this feedback with my CSM, and they are actively working on adding this capability.
