Has what i need

Pros

I rely on it to keep all the key employee information I need, and I regularly use the reporting tools which are genuinely handy. Support has helped me when I reached out and there are plenty of learning resources for development.

Cons

the cost can climb quite high and if you're not taking advantage of the platform's full capabilities, I don't think you're getting the most value for what you pay. I really have to ensure I'm using every feature available.

Replacement for paper payroll statements!

Pros

I appreciate how UKG Pro reduces paper usage by allowing employees to access payroll information digitally.

Cons

Learning it was challenging initially but Ive got the hang of it now.

Not a fan of how this software is set up and designed

Pros

The updated look of the program is visually appealing and more streamlined.

Cons

It took weeks to log into my account for PTO and customer service was unhelpful. Setup was confusing and ongoing issues persisted with payroll and HR.

User-Friendly Admin Experience

Pros

I really like how tidy the admin area is, it makes getting around the system simple and very interactive.

Cons

However when my older staff use the timesheet portal, they get lost because its layout is confusing and hard for them to use and use effectively.

Recent Company Switch to UKG Pro

Pros

Transitioning to UKG PRO has streamlined our processes and improved the candidate onboarding experience. The customizable features allow for tailored setup and the support provided during the transition is invaluable.

Cons

The recruiting module lacks certain functionalities we need such as texting and grouping questions for job postings. Weve had to use external applications to meet our recruiting and onboarding needs.

very disappointing experience

Pros

I'm pleased that the SSO functionality works reliably, so signing in is generally simple. That said, the 2FA setup is a real problem, SMS codes don't work properly here in Australia which may be okay for US-based teams but makes it practically unusable across APAC.

Cons

Honestly where do I start? The user interface is dreadful and not easy and it's caused constant frustration for our team. Even after filing multiple support tickets, managers still can't see the details of the people who report to them, yet somehow have visibility into everyone else's profiles across the company, including sensitive payroll information. It's baffling and worrying that those access controls are so inconsistent. On top of that, there's no option to split payments between different accounts, the two-factor authentication is unreliable and the system times me out far too quickly. I could keep listing problems, because the string of issues just keeps piling up.

Smooth & user friendly interface

Pros

Honestly, the layout makes getting around easy, whenever I sign in, locating what I need takes no time at all. I've also found submitting time-off requests to be very easy and fast which saves me a lot of effort.

Cons

I don't really have any major complaints. It would be great if the platform offered a few free stock image options, though.

Flexible platform that fits our workflow

Pros

It is capable and user-friendly for my everyday tasks. It covers everything from payroll processing to comprehensive BI reporting without hiccups. The recruiting and benefits features run like a charm and I'm a fan of the messaging and SMS options. Integrations with other systems, LMS tools for e-learning are smooth.

Cons

My experience hasn't revealed any real drawbacks with this systes, it genuinely aligns our day-to-day work and my colleagues find it overall easy to use.

UKG pro not very good

Pros

Its a straightforward system that doesnt overwhelm users with too much information. The app helps me stay updated on my hours PTO and pay.

Cons

Ive noticed occasional discrepancies in the apps hour tracking which sometimes requires contacting management for clarification.

Outdated and hard to use

Pros

no pros literally!

Cons

It is sluggish and feels clunky when I'm trying to get around, so moving between sections becomes frustrating most of the time. I also find the interface dated and bare which, to be honest, makes everyday tasks harder to complete than they should be.

UKGotttta be kidding me with how user-friendly this is

Pros

UKG Pro lets me access all my perks and benefits from one central place. It might not be the most visually appealing but it gets the job done!

Cons

The interface feels somewhat minimalistic and for a first-time user can be perplexing. However its appearance doesnt affect UKGs functionality.

Good features with high cost

Pros

One thing I really like is that the team keeps rolling out new features and actually pays attention to user feedback, that makes me feel they're committed to continuous improvement. I also value having the flexibility to switch features on or off, which lets me introduce changes gradually and tailor the setup to what works best for our business.

Cons

the pricing can be a bit high. The platform itself is good and handles alot of HRIS tasks reliably but the higher price bracket may put it out of reach for smaller organizations trying to manage tighter budgets.

Well connected and secure

Pros

I'm amazed at how it links our partners and carriers, it cuts down hours of work. Our information now feels far safer, and using the platform is simple. I value that the team regularly rolls out updates to align with current technology standards.

Cons

There's not much I can fault. I always think of extra features I'd like but none are major deal-breakers. Whenever we face constraints, our ERM helps us find workarounds or commissions solutions outside the system.

UKG Pro

Pros

Having this app on my phone is fantastic. I can check hours worked view paystubs and request PTO or vacation time instantly. Its incredibly convenient.

Cons

My only gripe is that I often have to reset my password especially after periods of inactivity.

Could be more user-friendly

Pros

Its not overly complicated to use and navigate.

Cons

Expensive Option with some benefits

Pros

The software allows for customization and boasts excellent reporting capabilities.

Cons

We attempted to use UKG as our all-in-one HR solution but several modules lack functionality leading us to consider alternatives. The support model is unclear and Im unsure who my CSR is.
