“Great Software with Endless Possibilities
Pros
It brings so many features together in one spot. Being able to look up former and current team members, review pay deposits, keep tabs on PTO, and use both recruiting and onboarding features makes my workflow much smoother. To me it feels like an all-in-one platform where everything is neatly arranged and the various parts are simple to find.
Cons
For me the recruiting gateway comes across as somewhat stuck in the past and could really benefit from a visual overhaul. The layout is fairly plain and looks dated which drags down the overall experience and makes it less engaging than it might be. A dose of contemporary colors and updated styling would do a lot to make the platform feel more attractive to use.

“All together, no real support
Pros
I'm really glad that all of our HR needs live in one system, recruiting, payroll, benefits, performance evaluations and the training courses are all tied together. It saves me from having to hop between different tools or stress about keeping data synchronized across separate systems.
Cons
Over more than four years using this, customer support has been a steady letdown. When I file a ticket I usually include a full description of the problem and list every troubleshooting step I've already tried, but the replies still circle back to the identical fixes I clearly said didn't work. That repetitive cycle was annoying back in the UltiPro days and unfortunately, hasn't gotten better since the switch. In fact, I've reached the point where I rarely bother opening a new ticket because I already expect the same unhelpful answers and it feels like a waste of time.

“Great payroll software as an alternative to QB
Pros
Its user-friendly has a mobile application enables printing of hard copy stubs/pay receipts and tracks earned time off/vacation hours with integrated direct deposit and tax forms.
Cons
Overall I cant think of any significant drawbacks with this software although I initially struggled with printing pay stubs.

“UKG- Poor Customer Service
Pros
The only positive aspects of this software are the mobile app which most payroll systems have and occasionally finding helpful support through the Customer Care portal.
Cons
Where do I begin? Communication is terrible with no dedicated UKG representative available for assistance. System changes post-merge with Kronos have made tasks difficult and the reporting system is cumbersome and lacks adequate training.

We found the homepage very easy to use, so our team naturally started using it as our primary workspace hub.

Pros
This experience has been so dreadful that I cant think of anything positive.
Cons
Implementation assistance was nonexistent and obtaining help is expensive and time-consuming. Constant turnover of account representatives adds to the frustration.

“Reliable HR Management Solution
Pros
Having access to a full HR application suite is something I really value, I'm impressed by their applicant tracking system, it runs smoothly and the recently added vaccine management tool is a great bonus as well.
Cons
their support can be slow to respond at times, although it looks like they're making progress on improvements, also some features don't simplify our processes as much as I expected and it still feels like we're handling more manual tasks than necessary.

“Helpful learning options
Pros
The documentation is really solid and UltiUniversity made getting up to speed much faster than I expected. As someone new to HRIs administration, having all those different learning options like self-paced courses, live sessions, recorded videos was very helpful. Support has been excellent too, especially having that direct phone line for urgent payroll issues. The technical consultants know their stuff across all the modules and actually respond quickly when you need help.
Cons
Having to switch between the web interface and a separate "Back Office" application for certain admin tasks is a bit of a hassle. While the Back Office isn't hard to use, it does mean learning an additional system to manage everything properly.

Pros
Managing everything from recruiting to payroll in a single platform has been convenient for our operations. The mobile app really shines when you have employees who aren't desk-bound or particularly tech-savvy. It's intuitive enough that they can handle most tasks directly from their phones. What I appreciate most is how the company consistently rolls out updates and improvements, many of which come directly from user suggestions.
Cons
The benefits feature is pretty disappointing when you compare it to everything else the platform offers. Works okay if your benefits setup is super basic but anything beyond that and you're forced to upgrade to Benefits Prime, which costs extra and uses an outside vendor that's only partially integrated. Even then, there are still plenty of limitations.

This platform is really simple for both hiring managers and talent acquisition teams to navigate. I appreciate getting email notifications whenever there's an action item that needs my attention.
Cons
The lack of built-in calendar functionality means I still have to handle scheduling separately. Also, there's no way for talent acquisition to filter out unsuitable candidates before managers see them, which sometimes leads to miscommunication.

I really appreciate how user-friendly this platform is. Having both a website and mobile app makes everything so convenient. You can log in using your unique company URL and access all your information right from your phone. Being able to request time off or grab old pay stubs while on the go is absolutely fantastic.
Cons
The mobile app doesn't let you clock in so I have to open my web browser on my phone instead. It's just an unnecessary extra step that makes things less convenient.

This year we switched to Ultipro and it completely transformed how we handle employee timesheets and time-off requests! Managing our large team has become so much simpler.
Cons
The site goes down occasionally which creates problems when employees need to clock in and out. A more stable server would really help reduce these outages.
