No need for multiple systems

Pros

Appreciate how everything connects seamlessly. No need to use numerous systems to get things done.

Cons

scrolling through lists is a pain since you can only see a few records at once making it tough to locate what you need quickly

Helps us stay organized

Pros

I can handle all our HR needs with this platform and it's been great for keeping our policies and procedures organized and up-to-date.

Cons

The compensation module feels a bit rigid when you're trying to set things up. Could really use more flexibility in how its administered.

Excellent team

Pros

The support team is always willing to help and really knows their stuff.

Cons

There's a frustrating gap between how the performance management, salary planning and compensation management modules work together. They don't seem to communicate well with each other.

Extra fees bother me

Pros

Annual Connections conference offers great chances to learn new things and connect with other users in the industry.

Cons

For what we're paying, I'm not thrilled about the extra fees through the service request system though I get that quality HRIs solutions don't come cheap.

Pros

This tool adapts perfectly to how our organization operates, with plenty of customization options that let us adjust everything to our specific workflow needs.

Cons

Finding time to learn all the modules can be tough and there's so much training material in UltiUniversity that it feels overwhelming at first.

staff goes above and beyond

Pros

Customer service here is amazing. Their team is cooperative, works quickly and really goes the extra mile to resolve everything in a single call.

Cons

The biggest downside is there's no systems admin app available yet, which would really help with managing everything more efficiently.

I find BI section complicated

Pros

Onboarding and recruiting gateway is really well organized. I can easily track where I'm at with each candidate and new hire without getting lost in the process.

Cons

BI section is where I struggle the most. Creating reports feels overly complex and isn't very easy.

Great reporting feature

Pros

The reporting features work really well for what I need and I appreciate being able to handle most tasks myself without having to contact support. Overall, it's pretty straightforward to navigate and get things done.

Cons

support quality varies too much between different reps. Some are helpful while others don't seem to know what they're doing

Good user experience overall

Pros

I find it user-friendly overall. Customer service has been reasonably helpful whenever I've needed to reach out for support.

Cons

setting up garnishments can be tricky and sometimes requires customization that creates additional problems, even when customer service tries to help out.

Gives us control over our data

Pros

We have full control over our data and can update it whenever necessary.

Cons

The tax services weren't very helpful at all. Also, it's frustrating that you can't see which company an item belongs to when looking at the inbox. We have different people handling different companies so if we don't recognize a name, we have to open each one to check if its ours to approve.

Broken recruiting feature

Pros

The app is not complicated. Our staff enjoys using it for checking pay statements and other tasks.

Cons

Having to manage roles and access permissions across every single module gets really annoying, you're constantly setting up the same permissions repeatedly. The recruiting feature has been more broken than functional, which is pretty disappointing when you need it to actually work.

Waiting for the complete integration

Pros

Combining Kronos and Ultimate payroll into one platform has been really convenient for us since we already use both systems.

I like the BI tool

Pros

I work as an HR data analyst and really appreciate the built-in reporting BI tool. The recent upgrade made it even more powerful and user-friendly.

smooth onboarding

Pros

Time tracking and attendance features work really well for our needs. Onboarding new employees has become much smoother and the reporting capabilities give us the insights we need to make informed decisions.

Cons

Business intelligence features are pretty confusing to navigate and I'm stuck with old reports that former employees created. There's no way to delete them which is really frustrating
