“Massive improvement to our HR operations
Pros
The ability to track employees from hiring through termination is an excellent feature. UltiPro has really improved how our HR department operates.
Cons
Haven't been able to get our staffing numbers tracked properly in this system despite multiple attempts.

“Adaptable tool
Pros
It is great how user-friendly it is and there's an impressive array of tools available. What really stands out is how detailed the HCM solution is. It adapts to any organization's needs and genuinely improves how HR services are delivered to both the business and its workforce. The additional modules are effective for expanding what you can offer employees and building on your core operations.
Cons
There are times when I run into items that aren't set up for easy customization making it difficult to adjust modules to our specific needs. The service response could definitely be faster when resolving issues. Our biggest headache has been with the time clocks in our Distribution Centers. They've been problematic for the entire two years we've used UltiPro for that service.

“powerful all-in-one platform for cross-border payroll
Pros
I appreciate having everything consolidated into a single platform that handles both Canadian and US payroll needs. The integration of workforce management, performance tracking, payroll processing and recruiting features makes my job much easier.
Cons
The interface looks pretty outdated and could really use a refresh. Performance management system gets difficult especially when you're trying to adjust distributed goals. We made an error and now we're stuck with it since there's no easy way to change them. I'd love to see more automated job postings across recruitment sites like Glassdoor and Google. Indeed works well enough but visibility can be hit or miss.

“Great interactions with their team
Pros
The relationship we've built with their team is honestly the standout feature. Our Executive Relations Manager and Customer Service Manager are exceptional. They treat us like true partners rather than just another account.
Cons
Current time management system works but I'm constantly dealing with annoying trade-offs between keeping things secure and actually being able to use the features effectively.

“In awe of their survey tool
Pros
I'm absolutely blown away by the survey tool 'Perception'. The insights and data we've gathered from just one survey have been so valuable and I can't wait to see how these results will help shape our organization's future direction.
Cons
Really frustrated that I can't share announcements or news with employees on the Smart dashboard. When our team has to choose between the Classic dashboard (where I can post updates) and the Smart dashboard (where I can't), they pick the Smart dashboard almost every time. This leaves me without any way to communicate through the one system that everyone uses daily.

I'm really impressed by the extensive resources they offer. CSP, Community Center, Ulti University and Rapid Response are all valuable. The Community area stands out as particularly engaging since everyone collaborates and shares ideas so openly. What I also find reassuring is how the platform consistently keeps us compliant with regulations.
Cons
Sometimes we've had to chase down consultants for service requests more often than I'd prefer which can be frustrating when you need quick responses.

The customer service here makes me feel valued and intelligent, even when I'm struggling. They really empower me to dig deeper and learn more when I'm trying to figure out different parts of the software.
Cons
I wish my company would invest in sending me to their conferences. Other than that, I struggle with understanding the different packages and figuring out how to create better reports for specific field items.

Reporting capabilities are really impressive and I'm excited to dive deeper into the features at the upcoming Connections event.
Cons
There are still some bugs that need fixing. Sometimes entries dont post properly or employees get miscalculated in payroll. These might seem like minor issues but they can really mess up someone's pay.

Love how this has modernized our entire HR operation. No more clunky workarounds or juggling multiple systems. Having employee records, time tracking and payroll integrated in one place has been a game changer for our workflow.
Cons
The FMLA and leave tracking isn't great. There's no real-time monitoring so I end up doing manual tracking on my side. It's actually a step back from what we had with ADP before.

Pros
I'm really drawn to the business intelligence features. Just started creating dashboards recently and my colleagues have given great feedback on them. Everyone can quickly check current data and analytics since everything's presented in such a clear, readable way.
Cons
The new onboarding module is missing some features we really liked from the previous version and creating workarounds eats up way too much time.

Cons
Set up was an absolute nightmare. We actually had to restart completely halfway through our first attempt. We're still dealing with some lingering issues but the new support team is definitely easier to work with than before.

What i love is that the system is really effective and intuitive to work with. From the admin perspective and for our staff, it helps us manage our workforce and keeps our organization moving in the right direction.
Cons
