Great ease of use :)

Pros

The system is easy to work with and I really appreciate how user-friendly all the different modules are. Feels really userfriendly.

Cons

Customer service response times could definitely be faster. Sometimes I end up waiting longer than I'd like for help.

efficient software with clean interface

Pros

This software feels really solid and has a clean, attractive interface that makes everything convenient to navigate.

Cons

I find the effective date feature confusing and hard to work with. The point-in-time reporting doesn't really give me what I need and it's pretty ineffective for my purposes. What really frustrates me is that I can't make bulk changes on my own. I have to rely on others for things I should be able to handle myself.

Strong user community

Pros

I really appreciate being able to connect with other customers who face the same challenges and have similar requirements

Cons

Rollouts can be exciting when they actually happen on schedule but the timing has been disappointing

User friendly platform

Pros

The brightness and friendly design make it really user-friendly to handle.

Cons

The recruiting features aren't as robust as I'd hoped. There's no Indeed integration which makes hiring pretty challenging. I often find myself having to use workarounds to get things done since the system doesn't always understand what I'm trying to accomplish.

MY FAV TOOL!!

Pros

The team really knows their stuff and stays involved throughout the process. Everything feels simple and I've worked with other HR management platforms before, none of them flow as smoothly as this one does.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind that bothers me about this service.

Makes enrollment and life events simple

Pros

Open enrollment is really convenient for our team and handling life events has been much simpler than before.

Cons

The date-driven rules can get a bit tricky and cause some complications but honestly that's about the only issue I've run into.

weak on specialized reporting

Pros

They keep rolling out updates and enhancements, plus there's always someone available when I need help with something.

Cons

Support only offers basic help with reporting so you end up having to find workarounds for most issues.

Easy for everyone to use

Pros

It is easy to use for both HR administrators and regular employees. Everyone picks it up fast without much training needed.

Cons

Moving our company over was pretty rough since we had messy data records to begin with. Definitely made the whole implementation process a real headache to organize.

Well organized layout

Pros

The layout is really well organized and I can find everything quickly. Love the new text messaging feature. Makes reaching employees super fast and convenient.

Cons

I find myself getting frustrated with all the verification codes that pop up when trying to access certain pages. It really slows down my workflow.

powerful upgrade in features

Pros

Most of the features work really well and it's a huge step up from what we used before.

Cons

Customer support has really gone downhill recently. Response times are much slower now and the solutions they provide aren't always the best fit for the issue.

let down by customer service

Pros

I really appreciate how visually appealing the interface is and having taxes handled internally is incredibly convenient.

Cons

Their customer service could be better. I've noticed that during updates, settings get changed that I never asked them to modify.

Easy access to employee records

Pros

Very simple to pull up employee records and generate reports when I need them.

Cons

Starting and stopping deductions is a hassle, there's no simple way to double-check your work without going through every single screen, which gets tedious pretty quickly.

Exploring more benefits with UltiPro

Pros

From my experience, the interface is very friendly and I find there's a surprisingly broad set of tools at my disposal. What impresses me most is how all-encompassing the HCM platform is, it flexes to fit virtually any organization's setup and has genuinely improved how HR services are provided to both the company and our staff. The extra modules are excellent for widening what we can deliver to employees and for extending our core processes.

Cons

I've faced situations where certain items aren't configured to be easily customized, which makes tailoring modules to our particular needs a real challenge. Support response times could definitely be quicker when issues arise. The biggest ongoing problem we've had has been with the time clocks in our Distribution Centers, those have caused trouble consistently over the entire two years we've relied on UltiPro for that function.

All in one solution

Pros

I am glad everything is centralized on one platform that supports both Canadian and US payroll requirements. Having workforce management, performance monitoring, payroll processing and recruiting tools all tied together has made my role considerably simpler because I no longer need to hop between several different systems to get things done.

Cons

The user interface feels dated and could really use a modern facelift. Performance management becomes awkward, particularly when trying to modify goals that have been distributed, we accidentally made a change and now can't easily correct it because there's no simple way to edit those goals. I wish the recruiting side offered more automation for posting roles across platforms like Glassdoor and Google. Indeed posts fine most of the time but overall candidate visibility can be inconsistent and unpredictable.
