“Works great when it works

Pros

It has been excellent at managing onboarding and training, it's made those processes so much simpler. The payroll tools and benefits administration are solid and I appreciate being able to store all my personal and work-related details in a single place for easy access.

Cons

I do face the app crashing sometimes but otherwise I haven't experienced any other issues.

“Complete trash

Pros

I only like the clean user interface and the SSO login integration but that's pretty much it. Found nothing else so special about it.

Cons

The mobile app doesn't even try to offer even a little functionality. The search feature is useless as it never returns anything, and I constantly run into 404 errors all over the site. Plus the instructions for the app are ridiculous. I can't even imagine anyone making sense of it or using an app store button for this.

“A premium software!!

Pros

UKG combined all my payroll information into one place, and it's really easy to access whenever I need it.

Cons

Sometimes UKG would randomly limit my access and force me to change my password. That made it really frustrating to get to my payroll information when I needed it.

“UKG is user-friendly!!

I find the mobile app simply the best and overall, it is very easy to use too.

Cons

Some of my reps have reported that the app crashes a lot. They have to uninstall it, reinstall it and then it works fine which eventually takes a lot of precious time.

“Ideal for HRIS needs

Pros

It is great for payroll services, plus it includes talent management and so much more. It really offers a lot for an HRIS system compared to using separate tools for individual services.

Cons

At first, I find it a little hard to figure out all the features because of the interface. But once I get used to it, it's not so bad and can even be fun to use.

Pros

UKG pro makes managing time off and handling payroll really simple for us since everything is in one place.

Cons

I don't like that there are not any templates to auto-populate work hours and codes each week. It would save so much time for people with the same schedule.

“A reliable time-tracking tool

I like how easy it is to manage timecards and view or submit PTO as it is very straightforward.

Cons

Setting employee schedules can be really finicky and not as smooth as I'd prefer.

“A must-have for small enterprises

I liked the clean layout of the software and how all the settings were easy to figure out without any problem.

Cons

I didn't notice any cons with the software. Everything worked fine for me.

“Lacks what it could have

UKG Pro is a centralized system that does a decent job of keeping track of pay stubs and other similar information. Plus the user interface is simple and easy to navigate.

Cons

The functionality is very limited and the whole system feels buggy. And the app logs me out constantly, and it's a pain to get back in. On top of that, customer service was not accessible at all when I needed help.

“UKG Pro is amazing

Pros

I love how userfriendly it is for both employees and administrators. The Community support is amazing when it comes to finding answers to day-to-day tasks, and I also learn something new about UKG's features all the time.

Cons

I do not like that wage attachments for Canada and ROEs aren't sent automatically.

“Provide everything you need for HR in one place

Pros

All the features are what stand out the most for me. Plus UKG Pro manages teams, has a user-friendly interface and integrates payroll, time tracking and HR tools well. The reporting tools are so robust and adaptable that they add a ton of value to the organization.

Cons

It takes some time to fully understand all the features. Also I found the first setup process a bit complicated and time-consuming and it takes a while to get familiar with the interface. There are also occasional lags when switching between modules, which can be annoying.

“Give it a go, you will not regret it!

Pros

My favorite thing is how easy it is to use. Before my current job, I had no idea what UKG Pro even was, but now we use it for almost all of our tasks. It is easy to navigate, gives you alerts and double-checks everything before we submit or change something. Like we get a lot of prompts asking if we are sure, which is really helpful.

Cons

If anything goes wrong, I honestly wouldn't know who to contact for help.

Overall UKG Pro is pretty easy to use and all of its features are very handy to manage our workflow.

Cons

I've had issues with logging in before which has been frustrating when I needed access.

“Very detailed!!

Pros

UKG Pro is a complete HR and people management system. It is easy to learn, and setting it up was not a hassle at all. Plus I love how it integrates everything across different touchpoints for employees, like recruitment, onboarding, timekeeping and performance management.

Cons

The design and user experience could definitely be cleaner and more intuitive, especially for the employee's side. As for now it is harder for employees to use it who aren't as comfortable with digital tools.

“Reliable and easy to use

Pros

I absolutely love using UKG Pro. Not only is it fast but responsive too and I have never had to deal with bugs. Also it has detailed sections that include everything from your position to pay rate, company info, tax details and even access to the organization chart. I especially like the "model my pay" feature.

Cons

Well i do not really have anything to complain about so far. It's been good and bug-free for me.

Pros

Being able to view timecards and monitor my team's activity with an ease has been really helpful for me.

Cons

I would really like to see more options for expanded reporting in our version of UKG.

“The side panel of UKG is my favorite.

I find it very easy to move through the menu using the side panel as it is clean and straightforward.

No complaints because I can always find the information I need when using it.

I really like how UKG Pro integrates with UKG Pro Learning, and it's also easy to use on a mobile device. That makes a huge difference for me.

When I use UKG for "shift" changes, there are a lot of barriers that get in the way.

“Does it all but terrible help

Pros

I am able to manage payroll, recruiting and onboarding all from one platform, which really makes our HR processes far more aligned and efficient.

Cons

We've experienced terrible customer support, we've been stuck on a project for months that should've been completed ages ago and it really feels like the recent layoffs have undermined their ability to help customers properly.

“Business's one-stop solution

Pros

I love that UKG Pro combines Human Resources and Payroll into one single service. As everything is so much more convenient that way.

Cons

We tried several scheduling services that were integrated with UKG, but none of them really met our needs. In the end, we had to switch to a different application.
