“Offers great assistance
Pros
UKG makes it easy to see your compensation and benefits, update personal details and even model your pay. I can also check my compensation history with the company, which is quite useful.
Cons
The mobile version is so limited. Because of that we can't see much or do much of anything on it.

One thing I like about UKG Pro is that it can handle a lot of different tasks. In short it is really versatile.

“Gets the job done
Pros
I like that the system is pretty simple and easy to use most of the time. As it doesn't take much effort to figure things out.
Cons
The whole site feels outdated, like it was designed back in the early 2000s.

“All your info in one safe place
Pros
I am really impressed by how easy It is to use and get around. With every employee's details and records stored in one centralized place, managing things has become a lot less chaotic for us. Team members can pull up their own information whenever necessary, which has noticeably reduced HR inquiries. Plus, it hooks into our current software stack smoothly and reliably.
Cons
I have to complete an extra layer of security authentication every time I sign in to the app, which can be a bit repetitive.

“Great for mobile use
Pros
One big reason we chose UKG Pro was for payroll and tax reporting, especially through the app. I had worked with it at my previous company, so it was easy for me to adapt when my current company started using it. And it has been great for managing payroll and exploring benefits options.
Cons
It wasn't as easy as I would have liked. Luckily, I had used it at another company before, so I was able to figure out the changes to the platform and adapt to what I needed.

“Customizable & user friendly interface
Pros
One thing I really like is being able to tailor my dashboard and decide what shows up on my home screen. The layout is simple to move through, and I can pull up all of my data from that first page with a single click.
Cons
there's not much about it I dislike. If I'm pushed to find something, integration with other apps sometimes feels awkward, having a truly unified all-in-one solution would be ideal, though I realize that kind of smooth ecosystem is hard to come by right now.

“Good but not perfect
Pros
It is definitely starting to improve and I like that it offers such a wide variety of data fields.
Cons
UKG is not user-friendly. I feel like it is not built for internal mobility or recruiting and it doesn't integrate well with other software.

“Good for keeping track of candidates
Pros
I really liked the features for performance tracking and candidate reviews during the hiring process. It made leaving comments and communicating back and forth with HR so easy.
Cons
Sometimes it's hard to find certain documents or modules. There are links available but they are often broken when we actually try to get to the section we need.

“My top choice among all
Pros
What I love the most about UKG Pro is that it's the HUB for everything I need. Whether it is healthcare info, pay stubs, or required trainings, everything is available in one place. I don't have to jump around to 3 to 5 different websites anymore, which is such a relief. Plus it allows me stay on top of assignments and communicating my needs so much easier. The website is pretty intuitive and the app is super convenient to use too.
Cons
I do not have any cons to mention. I actually prefer this over a lot of the other HR programs I've used in the past.

“Promised much, but only gave problems
Pros
It offers so many features and can do just about anything you need for HR. Plus it is highly customizable and capable of handling most, if not all HR functions.
Cons
You basically have to be a system expert to get everything to work properly. Their support is terrible and reporting is such a pain to deal with. UKG makes you pay for everything they can think of. During the launch, we had to wait weeks and sometimes months for answers. Now, they are forcing us to pay an extra annual fee just to update benefits administration because they won't update the software on their own. But of course, they are not giving us any discount on the usual software fees.

“Glad that I am finally done with UKG!
Pros
If you've got a big budget, this might be a great product for you but be prepared to spend a fortune for all the bells and whistles. Honestly, take whatever budget you have and triple it. Because the invoices just keep coming nonstop.
Cons
The contract is a nightmare to get out of. Costs go up by 10% every year and you HAVE to give tons of notice, or the contract renews automatically. We got stuck paying for ACA services even after moving to a new company. UKG still filed the ACA documents after we ended the contract and they refused to refund us. Be very careful with this company as they come up with random charges and invoices pop up constantly. Also it is ridiculously hard to find employees who know how to use UKG because they turn all their laid-off staff into "consultants" who bill at $200 an hour. I do not know how this company stays in business. Our experience with the software was terrible in almost every way. You are basically stranded on your own unless you are willing to pay for help. This whole company feels like it operates as an MLM scheme. So employers beware because you will either have to pay a fortune for employees who understand the software or hire overpriced consultants. Worst business model I have ever seen.

“UKG Pro is A Good Choice
Pros
They're incredibly convenient since everything you might need is readily available. The LMS can be integrated for self-learning and paystubs and org charts are conveniently located in one place. Additionally it provides a link for vacation leave approval when necessary.
Cons
Until now all my expectations have been met and they're continually enhancing the app.
