Pros
its simple to use and being able to do my time tracking on a weekly basis instead of daily is ideal for me since I'm constantly working out in the field and frequently don't have a spare minute to clock in and out every single day.
Cons
I find manually creating new lines tedious because the system doesn't automatically add them so it becomes a repetitive issue when I'm setting up multiple entries.

Pros
I've come to see this platform as one of the top HR solutions out there. The team's extensive payroll knowledge has been a huge help whenever I've reached out and I've noticed the product moving forward quickly with a number of genuinely useful enhancements.
Cons
After a decade using this system, I find first-level support frequently unable to resolve my more complicated issues. I'd much rather have the option to contact second-tier support directly than wait for my tickets to be escalated.

I truly value how the company lives its People First approach, showing up with excellent customer support and smooth integration into our workflows. Because it's web-based, connecting it to other databases is really simple and since both staff and managers see the same information, I notice far greater transparency throughout the organization.
Cons
From our nonprofit perspective, the allocation tools feel fairly constrained and don't match our needs. We deal with intricate allocation rules across many programs and the platform as it stands fails to accommodate those business processes effectively. I'm hoping they'll expand this capability in upcoming releases because being able to report allocations properly is essential for how we operate.

“excellent payroll & onboarding features
Pros
Using the web-based payroll system has slashed how long payroll takes for me, drastically reducing processing time. I felt the onboarding was solid to begin with and when recruiting features were added it transformed the whole experience into something fantastic. Open enrollment is also a major time-saver now , far more accurate and it eliminates piles of paper waste.
Cons
I get really disappointed at how long we have to wait for new releases. By the time an update finally rolls out to us, I typically can't remember the training details anymore and end up having to re-train myself from scratch, which is a frustrating repeat.

“Reliable solution for years
Pros
I have been using it since 2003 and it continues to provide exactly what my team and I need. The company does a great job keeping up with compliance updates which matters a lot for our operations. Over the years customer support has noticeably improved , they respond to our questions quickly and usually resolve things correctly.
Cons
When more complicated problems come up, support can feel sluggish and there have been times I walk away without a solid fix. The tougher tickets often end up stretching out far longer than they should and that drag is frustrating.

When I run payroll, I find it very simple , the process flows naturally and every stage walks me through it so nothing is confusing.
Cons
I have to open a support case for anything that isn't covered by Rapid Response even when I'm dealing with a quick question or a small, time-sensitive problem, it feels like overkill. Also, the way timesheets sync with the timeclocks causes headaches: employees end up in the correct department but with incorrect job codes which skews their pay rates and then becomes a lengthy ordeal to sort out.

Pros
I really value how every module links up so smoothly from logging hours and running payroll to handling benefits. Because the different areas are integrated, data transfers automatically without repeatedly entering it and that ends up saving me a huge amount of time.
Cons
What bugs me are mostly tiny, picky annoyances, nothing fundamentally wrong with the software. Still I wish there was a way to change pay groups while I'm already inside the Payroll Gateway when I'm looking at or modifying results and creating instant checks.

“perfect dealership management solution
Pros
Since 2016 I've been using this and a huge plus for me is that we built everything in-house , the tables, the code, the entire platform. That hands-on approach means I truly understand how it operates and can adapt it quickly as our company evolves. Whenever we hit a snag, the community around it is phenomenal , honestly one of the strongest support networks I've faced. With so many guides and helpers available, I feel confident this can be made to work for any business.
Cons
There's an overwhelming amount of resources , I usually sense that the answer exists somewhere but I get annoyed spending time trying to track it down. On top of that, UTM really needs a redesign, its reporting capabilities feel dated and the mismatch between hours logged and CORe severely restricts the things we can do for the business.

I am impressed by how the platform covers the entire employee lifecycle from initial applications through onboarding, everyday HR tasks, payroll runs and monitoring performance. Also, I find their customer support staff to be pretty responsive and helpful overall.
Cons
Honestly I feel the company is being pulled in too many directions because so many products are under development. They seem fixated on chasing the next headline HCM releases such as Xander and Perception but that focus undermines their core products. I've noticed that numerous basic fixes and enhancements have been requested and repeatedly labeled as 'in the works,' yet I hardly ever see those essential updates actually roll out.

“Does anything but slow support

The integration between payroll, HR and recruiting is phenomenal. When we first merged those systems, I was honestly surprised by how many mistakes surfaced that had been caused by the old, disconnected platforms not sharing information properly. Security stands out for me as well. I can set up custom security roles for nearly any scenario which gives me real peace of mind about how our environment is protected. The platform treats security seriously and even notifies me of suspicious activity. Lately I've been excited about the expanded customization options and the fact that many are available at no extra cost. Platform Configuration lets me add custom fields for reporting and tweak menu labels which is incredibly useful. As someone who enjoys digging into databases and reports, I'm really impressed with the bundled Cognos reporting tool, there's almost nothing I can't accomplish with it.
Cons
My main frustration is the response time for support tickets , it can be quite a while before someone gets back to you after you submit one. They did add Payroll Live Chat, which is a big help when you're in the middle of payroll processing and need immediate assistance. I also wish there were more instructor-led training options available. Sure, online courses save money but nothing replaces having a real instructor in the room. When I attempt virtual training from my office, interruptions happen constantly and it's hard to stay focused so in-person sessions would be much more effective for me.

Our experience with this platform has been that it's very interactive and molds to our particular business requirements without fuss. The support team has been phenomenal and I really appreciate that we have lifetime access to training so our whole HR group can continually learn about updates. Consolidating everything into a single database has significantly strengthened our business intelligence reporting. The talent management tools are excellent and the recruitment and onboarding capabilities genuinely help us engage new employees well before they officially start. On top of that, having mobile access means staff and managers can stay in touch and productive wherever they happen to be.
Cons
I honestly can't think of anything about this system that I dislike, it meets our needs and hasn't given us any real issues.

It takes care of payroll tax rules and regulations very well, which really puts my mind at ease. I rely heavily on the Payment Services team to file taxes because my organization places nurses for short-term gigs in fifty different states. Whenever employees move across state lines during the year, the withholding and reporting issues pile up but I find that this tool uses those complexities smoothly and reliably.
Cons
It feels like the platform wasn't built specifically for healthcare staffing needs and I wish there were a larger community of industry users to lean on and exchange best practices. We've had to invent our own workarounds and tailored processes and I would really welcome a network of peers dealing with the same issues so we could brainstorm better, practical solutions together.

“powerful tool with a strong team
Pros
I've found the payroll module to be very powerful and flexible, it can be tailored to handle all of our specific needs without breaking a sweat. HR Core impressed me too, my employee profiles hold everything I could want, from personal contact details and tax information to job history, education and development records. On the reporting side, Cognos has been a real standout. Having such a capable platform to pull reports from has made life a lot easier. I also appreciate the customer idea-sharing site they provide. It's a neat place where users can vote and propose suggestions and seeing several customer-driven ideas actually put into production makes me feel like we're contributing to the product's evolution. The Rapid Response Team deserves praise as well , they're consistently friendly and ready to help when I call and their turnaround is impressively fast. Across the board I've felt strong support from my executive Manager down to the Account Manager so I never feel stuck not knowing who to contact. Ulti University is another resource I rely on: on-demand webinars are available whenever I need them and the learning center is always there for deeper research. The open enrollment tool was a big relief too , I didn't have to sift through piles of paper or manually update records and while we hit a few bumps along the way, the tool captured changes and handled automatic updates, saving us a ton of year-end data entry work.
Cons
I wasn't as happy with the Open enrollment and ACA tools as I hoped , they didn't perform as strongly as the rest of the platform. This year we ran into a fair number of issues with both features and although we've already put together some workarounds for the next enrollment cycle, it was frustrating at the time. In my view the ACA logic could use improvement but I also recognize that some problems stem from how complex ACA rules are, not just the software itself. One area that's been especially painful is setting up external interfaces. It can take ages to get a consultant assigned and once someone is on the job you really need to have every mapping sorted out in advance because there's virtually no flexibility to change course later. My takeaway is to test absolutely everything end-to-end and be prepared for a slow onboarding when external integrations are involved.

it honestly felt like we were left on our own after the implementation team handed the project to us. I really could have used more hand-holding, especially because we went live in Q4 when things were already hectic. The future-dating behavior in particular caused significant headaches and took us quite a while to understand before we could rely on the system.
