“Great accessibility and user-friendly design
Pros
UI is very friendly and my team learned how to use it fast without requiring much formal training.
Cons
When I set up benefits, it comes across as clumsy and I think someone who manages benefits daily needs to be involved to get it working correctly. Also, the rehire workflow is entirely dysfunctional and moving staff across locations is such a headache that it urgently requires significant fixes.

“easy to use but not connected well
Pros
The user interface is very interactive, which makes bringing new team members up to speed fairly simple. As an admin, I like that I can quickly and easily scan our roster of employees.
Cons
the time tracking and core system modules don't integrate smoothly. For instance, when I assign a new supervisor to an employee, their default project assignments are entirely wiped away and I end up having to re-enter everything by hand.

“Reliable tool with room to grow
Pros
I've worked as an HRIS Administrator since 2014 and this is the only platform I've ever used. It really removes the headache of keeping us compliant, delivers real-time updates and data and the interface is very easy to use and user-friendly.
Cons
What really frustrates me is how few course options exist for content management within the system. I would love to explore more of the platform's potential, particularly when it comes to the Manager Guide and Homepage features, where I think there is room to expand functionality. More classes focused on HTML writing would also help me get the absolute most out of Cognos reporting.

“Great for open enrollment
Pros
I really value the open enrollment and life-events functionality and the BI reporting capabilities are dependable. Presenting at Connections and running Webex sessions was a blast , I got some thoughtful questions and managed to walk other users through their setups which felt rewarding.
Cons
We've only run into trouble with our unusually complex benefits configuration, otherwise I don't believe there's anything actually wrong with the platform itself.

“Can do almost everything
Pros
There's so much this system can do, my team uses it for payroll, timekeeping, open enrollment, life event tracking, performance reviews and hiring. Honestly we've barely begun to tap into its capabilities and a lot of functionality remains switched off in our account. We're actually planning to enable and launch the onboarding module sometime next year.
Cons
I can't copy and paste text into the Open enrollment messages , it's surprisingly limiting. Also, within Recruiting there isn't an option to fully un-post job openings so we end up resorting to a clumsy workaround by moving them to an 'Unposted Opportunities' page instead.

Pros
I value being able to find answers fast, whether I watch the tutorial videos or explore the customer portal on my own.
Cons
BI reporting features can be really frustrating at first when you're getting started with them. Personalizing reports isn't at all interactive. But I've heard there are updates coming soon that should simplify things considerably.

“Great setup with some parts missing

the implementation team handling core functions and payroll are absolutely outstanding. Getting support is easy through their established process and they get back to me quickly whenever I need help. The training materials they provide are thorough and genuinely useful. I was pleasantly surprised by how simple it was to get Performance Management set up and running. Plus, our sales account manager checks in with us on a regular basis to ensure everything continues to run smoothly.
Cons
I wish the implementation team had assigned a subject matter expert for reporting and workflow setup, since not having one made the process more difficult. Their project timeline also felt quite aggressive which added pressure. Something that really irritates me is that time-off approval notifications don't show up on the main To Do page , I have to go into Time Management to find them and that's not very convenient.

I'm able to manage everything myself now. After we moved to this platform, we had no control over employee records and kept depending on IT for assistance. Today I'm the person offering support and have grown into the go-to expert for our data.
Cons
There isn't much for me to con about. I only notice small issues, such as the character limit being too restrictive for job descriptions in the Job Code area.

What I appreciate is being able to open a support ticket at any time and receive fast, practical assistance that actually resolves my issues.
Cons
I've found the interaction between Core and UTM for retroactive PTO processing to be troublesome and I've also noticed that PTO balances can become overstated in pay periods before payroll has finalized them.

Cons

I've found that combining HR, payroll, benefits and workforce management into a single platform has made it much easier for me to align our team's processes.
Cons
The different modules did take me a fair amount of time to learn, although they become fairly simple once you get the hang of them. I do wish the apps shared more consistent navigation patterns because, in my experience, uniformity across the suite would significantly improve these otherwise reliable products.

We find the interface very interactive and we've tailored it exactly to fit our organization's needs. Adding custom fields has truly transformed our workflow. Their training materials are also top-notch and very helpful.
Cons
I don't really have any complaints about it. If we ever face problems, my executive Relationship Manager consistently steps in to help us resolve things.

the layout is very user-friendly , I can find anything without any trouble and even if you're not particularly tech-savvy I was able to jump right in and start using it immediately.
Cons
I'm disappointed with the additional jobs area because it feels like an afterthought , there isn't a proper dating mechanism, no way to track job history and no record of compensation history. To me it looks like this section was bolted on without thoughtful design and lacks the full suite of features you would expect from top-tier software that's meant to manage multiple employers and roles. They urgently need to build in effective dating, job history tracking and compensation history into the additional jobs section for it to be usable.

Whenever I have questions, the support team is amazing , I can pick up the phone and they respond with helpful answers almost immediately.
Cons
What frustrates me is that I can't correct data entry errors right within the web interface so I end up having to go back into the back-office system every time to make fixes.

I am blown away by the reports , they're exceptional and the platform's clean, simple layout makes using it easy, everything functions exactly as it should.
Cons

I really appreciate the configuration settings because they let me keep tabs on what matters most to our senior leadership, investors and staff. Also, the folks I interact with when I open support cases are excellent , in particular our account manager Yolanda and her team are outstanding.
Cons
Working with the audit tab is confusing and frustrating for me. Pulling reports that cover multiple packages ends up being much tougher than it ought to be and frequently there's a gap between the questions I put into cases and the answers I end up receiving from support.

“Love this platform!
Pros
I've found the interface extremely smooth so I can locate everything quickly without hunting through menus. Changing configurations is super easy , it's easy with no convoluted steps or confusing screens which really saves time and keeps setup simple.
Cons
Because I can't use this module due to major issues,like bonus proration that doesn't fit our budget and glitches in the management approval hierarchy, we have to import merit increases, promotions and other adjustments separately. That workaround has created messy retro-pay complications for us and added extra administrative headaches.

“A great tool but costs too much

this HR platform is absolutely excellent at unifying every aspect of our human resources work into a single, easy-to-access place.
Cons
We're paying far too much and there's no flexibility for smaller firms like ours. They forced us into a 200-employee minimum even though we only employ 166 people which means we're essentially covering seats that don't exist. That kind of billing requirement is really aggravating for companies our size.

the interface is very smooth. The UTM tool has been incredibly helpful for tracking time and the payroll features match our requirements exactly. I'm looking forward to trying out the mobile app soon.
Cons
I find the BI reporting tools quite intimidating when I'm just getting started and it can be hard to know where to begin. even though the learning center offers online courses, I rarely have the time to work through them. With so many configurations and paths available, deciding what to create or the best way to create it is often unclear to me which makes the learning curve feel steep.

“Useful anywhere but setup has holes
Pros
I like that team members can manage things through self-service in the platform and I really value the BI reporting features it provides. Because it's hosted in the cloud, updates happen routinely and we can reach the system from any location.
Cons
Since the Onboarding section doesn't include a mobile phone field, I end up having to revisit each employee record after they're processed to add that number. That makes it pretty challenging to collect those phone details during the initial setup.
