“UKG pro helps calculate payroll accurately
Pros
The Applicant Tracking System at UKG is outstanding. It is also the leading option for workflows and approvals. UKG encompasses all the necessary features of an HRIS system, and its partnerships with other suppliers enable seamless automation of many HR and benefits related tasks.
Cons
When first starting with UKG, the system can feel overwhelming. UKG Support has an excellent ticket system, but in certain situations, you may have to wait for some time before a support specialist responds.

Pros
We have successfully implemented numerous modules, and Employee Voice is one of the more enjoyable ones. It offers excellent reporting capabilities for gathering feedback from employees.
Cons
UKG has faced challenges over the years in finding the right customer service solution. Although there have been significant improvements, they still encounter some issues and obstacles that require escalation to achieve resolution.

I appreciate the adaptable nature of the software's setup. As a longstanding customer who has gone through two acquisitions, I have been able to easily adjust the reporting requirements to meet the needs of new management teams.
Cons
The period following the Kronos acquisition didn't meet the standard of response for cases that we were accustomed to historically.

“14 Years and Still Improving
Pros
The level of service we receive from UKG is the most satisfying aspect of our relationship with them. UKG Pro met our needs 14 years ago, and even through three acquisitions, it continues to do so. The software has seen significant enhancements over time.
Cons
Even after all this time, I continue to work on utilizing Business Intelligence (Cognos) and its extensive capabilities. It's an excellent tool and I've only scratched the surface of its potential.

“An Overview of Ultipro

I like that UltiPro provides a wide range of features and is user friendly for employees. However, there are many areas that are often overlooked when implementing new features. Please see the details below.
Cons
I'm not a fan of the limited module for time management and the misalignment between Core and having to use a bridge file to import time. This has been overwhelming for our agency as we need cost centers in salary employee timesheets to accurately reflect where the person worked, instead of relying solely on the allocated earnings in Core. Additionally, I dislike the fact that pending pay doesn't allow entering the employee's name once and adding all the deductions or earnings. I have to repeat the same process multiple times, which is time consuming and outdated. I wish there were more features to prevent PTO from exceeding 40 hours.

I love how user friendly it is in all aspects. The modules seamlessly integrate with each other, and the payroll processing is simple guiding you step by step. We also have smooth file feeds to our vendors.
Cons
Personally, I haven't encountered many difficulties, but I've heard that the benefits module can be a bit cumbersome, especially during open enrollment.

“I love UKG
Pros
While the customer service has declined slightly, I am still very satisfied. The only area where I feel customer service is lacking is in the benefits department. I'm having difficulties with benefit related assistance, but in all other aspects, I am very content.
Cons
I'm not a fan of some aspects of Time Management and how PTO is tracked. However, I'm hopeful with the changes being made to Dimensions.

Having everything in one place is convenient. As a healthcare organization, we deal with a lot of time sensitive paperwork, and the reporting capabilities are excellent.
Cons
The only downside is that occasionally it's hard to get a quick response to critical issues, especially regarding tax and payroll matters. However, the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly.
