Clear org chart but confusing site navigation

Pros

From the looks of it, it seemed pretty simple to use initially. I like the employee tree structure, it helped me learn about company hierarchy

Cons

It's tricky to figure out where things are. It is as if an AI bot designed the site assuming it knows what humans want or need.

all in one HR platform

Pros

What stands out for me is that it is an all in one platform. It covers everything from onboarding to payroll to benefits.

Cons

Would've been cool if it worked with more applications. The integration options are limited, which makes it less flexible.

Complicated and awkward system

Pros

setting it up was super simple especially since we were a small team with just one Operations person at the time. The onboarding process was very smooth.

Cons

It's not very customizable and my team didn't find it very easy to use. Vacation requests were confusing and the payroll setup was awkward. We had to ask for support several times to adjust our payroll periods and even then, the issues weren't really fixed.

Complete HRIs solution with top-notch support

Pros

This system is a detailed HRIs solution. It does everything from filing form 941 to delivering W-2s on time. Their customer service is top-notch. They actually value our feedback.

Cons

The services are only available in the US. It would be great if they expanded to all European countries.

Clean, well organized interface

Pros

managing remote HR and timekeeping is made so easy with great security and a clean user interface. I really like this one!

Cons

I am unable to request any time clock changes for approval. I have to notify the HR manager every time.

Best payroll service provider I've used!

Pros

This is definitely the best payroll service provider I've used. The report customization is great, it's user-friendly and the customer support is always approachable. I find them very helpful.

Cons

The price is on the higher side compared to the alternatives and sometimes it takes a while to download reports.

Reliable for onboarding

Pros

Pros

They keep it really straightforward. There's not a ton happening in the app, so you don't really get lost in it.

Cons

Zenefits Makes Payroll & Benefits Admin Easy

Pros

Payroll and benefits processes are nearly fully automated now. We used to rely heavily on spreadsheets, but thanks to Zenefits, it's now simpler and more compliant.

Cons

Zenefits lacks functionality when it comes to being international contractor or employee-friendly.

Great tool for Startups

Pros

I appreciated the simplicity of the platform. It's easy for a user to find what they're looking for, and support was readily available for any questions.

Cons

I'm not entirely certain if this falls solely on Trinet, but if your organization uses multiple insurance providers, you might need to switch between websites to manage your benefits.

Horrifying experience

Pros

The only positive thing I can mention is that Kayla (who seemed to be the only one handling Customer Support - or maybe that was just the name everyone used because they were hesitant to give their real names) was always kind.

Cons

There are numerous issues, but let me attempt to list them: processing payroll and accessing employee data are incredibly slow; waiting times for customer support are absurdly long (standard wait time was 45 minutes, but sometimes stretched to 2-3 hours); the systems are glitchy and far from intuitive; and the final straw for us was when 250 employees didn't get paid due to a new payroll processor error, resulting in a day spent on the phone trying to resolve it.

Great for small HR department

Pros

Zenefits has streamlined and simplified our HR processes! As the sole HR person, Zenefits allows me to support all our employees as if we had a full HR department. The online portal streamlines my HR management and provides employees with 24-hour access to HR info. Zenefits offers EVERYTHING we need in one intuitive online portal - from offer letters, hiring, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, to termination.

Cons

There's minimal phone support available for user issues; online live chat and email are the primary means of accessing customer support. This can be frustrating during time-sensitive situations.

Best Features For the HR Team

Pros

Firstly, I appreciate the numerous HR and onboarding features. It functions well as a performance management system and is helpful for benefits administration too. With features like attendance tracking, we've encountered no issues.

Pros

If your clients are willing to utilize Zenefits for everything from onboarding to benefit administration to payroll, you've found a fantastic all-in-one solution. When effectively implemented, Zenefits is all an organization needs to manage its workforce.

Cons

Customers needing assistance from their broker must use the built-in "help" function instead of contacting an individual directly. The current state of available learning management technologies and clear guidelines leaves much to be desired.

Pros

Paychecks, tax documents, insurance information, spending accounts, and corporate policies are all conveniently accessible in one location thanks to TriNet.

Cons

When using my own device, I don't see the need to log in every day, so there's room for improvement in settings like this. It may be a matter of corporate policy, but it's been mentioned in previous evaluations.
