Amira Instruct™ turns ongoing assessment and practice data into differentiated lesson plans that stay tied to a district's curriculum, alongside scope and sequence, and calendar. Plans lean on short micro-lessons — 4 to 10 minutes each — that teach one skill at a time, explicitly and in order, built around Scarborough's Reading Rope and the Active View of Reading. Teachers can still edit anything: adjust pacing or move a student to a different group. Recommendations keep updating in the background as the students progress, and there's a library of standards-aligned materials, including editable worksheets and slides, to pull from.

Amira ISIP Assess™ listens to a student read aloud and picks up miscues, pauses, along with the self-corrections as they happen. It also uses Item Response Theory to adjust how hard each task is in real-time. This keeps a student in their proximal zone, so the measurement stays accurate whether they're behind, on track, or ahead. Because it's working from oral readings, it can also measure things like phonological processing, orthographic mapping, alongside the rapid automatized naming, and working memory.

Amira Instruct™ builds an Individualized Reading Instruction Plan for every student. To do so, it extracts information from ongoing assessment and practice data. It then ties each plan back to the district's curriculum, scope and sequence, as well as the calendar, all grounded in Scarborough's Reading Rope. Teachers aren't locked out of any of it - pacing, groupings, assigned resources, all editable - all while the plan keeps updating on its own as new progress data comes in.

Amira ISIP Assess™ gives you two different ways to look at growth. The Standards Mastery Report is criterion-referenced. It is a MAST score tied to state reading standards that’s tracked by skill and standard. Similarly, the Student Summary Report is norm-referenced and shows where a student ranks and how they're progressing across every Reading Rope domain. This is what feeds RTI and MTSS decisions.

The platform analyzes each student's assessment and practice history and groups them by readiness and skill focus. This includes: who's ready for grade-level work, who needs more scaffolding, and who's already past the standard. Groups shift as the students progress, so a teacher isn't manually reshuffling kids every week. However, the teachers can still move anyone manually without straying from the district's curriculum.

The platform sends family-facing reports in English or Spanish. The progress report includes a scored transcript alongside an audio playback that families can actually listen to. Reports also flag milestones and, when relevant, early signs of reading difficulty in plain terms.
