Ostendo features all manufacturing, engineering, and assembly activities. These include the management of co-products and by-products, Work in Progress (WIP) tracking, and cost roll-ups for Bills of Material (BOMs). It also provides integrated quality assurance and health, and safety controls.
Ostendo manages Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to accurately calculate material needs based on demand and supply. The system supports automated inventory replenishment, allowing businesses to exclude certain sources of supply/demand and expedite purchases as needed.
The system tracks planned, actual, and projected labor time remaining by task, job, or project. It supports varying employee direct costs and customer charge-out rates, featuring a graphical resource job scheduling calendar for capacity planning.
