WA Demand Driven Features
Buffer Positioning
WA Demand Driven features identify key points in the chain to place stock buffers based on lead times and variability. This setup absorbs shocks from demand shifts without disrupting flows. Users define positions using data on material paths. It matters for maintaining steady availability amid changes. Buffers foster reliable service, enhancing team coordination on priorities.
Dynamic Adjustments
Factors like seasonality or promotions trigger real-time buffer recalculations to match current conditions. The system applies adjustments automatically from input data. This keeps buffers relevant without manual overhauls. Adjustments matter for agility in volatile markets. They support quick adaptations, boosting team responsiveness to emerging trends.
Execution Alerts
Alerts notify when buffers hit critical zones, prompting actions like expediting orders. The dashboard shows priorities based on penetration levels. This focuses efforts on urgent items. Alerts matter for proactive issue resolution. They enhance decision-making by highlighting risks early, supporting smoother team execution.
Demand Driven Planning
Planning pulls from actual sales orders and qualified spikes rather than forecasts alone. It generates supply orders tied to buffer status. This aligns production with true needs. The method reduces bullwhip effects across the chain. It promotes accurate replenishment, aiding better collaboration among supply partners.

“powerful stock control”
Pros
An excellent tool for managing inventory and the restocking process especially when dealing with a large variety of points of sale.
Cons
An improvement I'd suggest would be adding a way to align demand with the plant's production capacity so the production process in plants and purchasing could be automated.
